Nearly every person who showed up was inconsistent and poorly trained. We had one or two staff members who seemed to know what they were doing, but nothing consistent. We left with the feeling that all they cared about was the payment they'd get for having my dad on their patient list. I have no idea how one might consider their services helpful in the least. TLWR: if you're looking for a place to do a colonic and you're already familiar with an open system…read more(& have done several) this might be for you?? So I visited this place for a colonic. I've had one done previously using a closed system. I didn't realize there was more than one system so I went into this kinda blinded. Anyway, the faculty was in the back of the home which was fine. When I came in, the lady informed me I didn't have to wear a mask (I kept it on tho). She asked me a few questions then told we would be doing an open system. If you don't know, in an open system, you sit in this tub like thing with the tub in your butt. I was aware of the tube going in your butt but I didn't expect to not receive any help. She was very hands off and gave very little advice or help. She told me to just play around with it until I could feel the water flow (it took about 15-20mins for me to get it). Once it started, it wasn't even smooth sailing. I didn't have as much waste as I expected to leave my system. I told her it didn't feel right and she was just like "it's fine". she ultimately told me my colon was dehydrated after making several other excuses. (Mind you I drink a gallon of water a day). I booked for two colonics but I ultimately paid for one bc I just couldn't go through that again. I won't even further mention the negative comment she made about my weight after I told her it wasn't a priority for me.

First off I will start with the positive. Dr.Thomas is very intelligent person. She is proficient…read morein interpretation of lab results and formulation of plans of care. However, when it comes to education of her patient and operation of her office, she comes off very abrasive and condescending. Rather than attempting to have a conversation about the treatment she is prescribing, she gives you "generalized" papers that appears as though they were just copied from a book. The patient is pressed quickly for payment and feels rushed out of the office. Voicemails (questions) and online questions go unanswered. It makes the patient feel unvalued and unimportant. I have never seen any office staff or other patients in the office while I am there. Seems very odd. She has had conversations with her vendors/computer providers with me in her office. She was very pushy to the point of being extremely rude, not to mention a waste of my time. While I value her expertise in her field, I cannot continue to go to her. She doesn't know how to run a medical practice, which is sad, given her obvious knowledge of her subject matter.
