I came here on Tuesday for the first time and I had a wonderful time. I unfortunately got second place. They offer food, drinks, beer and wine as well. Staff members were great, very attentive. A place for anyone to enjoy themselves.

Awesome, epic, and very expensive. We had a great time celebrating my sons birthday but hot dang it's like $30 per 6-minute race. Fun but not worth taking out a second mortgage. The staff though? Outstanding. Very communicative and safety focused. It was personalized, but again the price still outweighed the quality--just a tad.

There are couches and chairs to watch the races or the multiple TV sets. The price is not cheap. At the same time I appreciated how much staff there were. They were friendly and serious about safety. The building is clean inside and out. The arcade was nice and I thought the pricing was appropriate for the amount of games we were able to play. Parking lot is clean and lots of ample parking spots.

AMAZING..... all i have to say - spontaneously brought 12-14 friends today and K1 accomodated. we all had so much fun, i do recommend spending that extra 5$ to record a race one time, it makes for great memories. you can decide between 1/2/3/5 or more races. 6-8 minute incrimites, - its worth it bring some water for water or grab some of their beverages. the staff is great, we do plan to come back thank you for your expertise... 5 STARS

I was skeptical about going here because of the location in sort of a desolate location but I was really impressed. This is a well managed, efficiently run, clean establishment. I think it is a great place for family fun. When you go in, you register your profile and then go pay for your races and find out how long it will be until you race. We went on a Saturday afternoon and we had to wait about an hour and 45 minutes, but we went to Sam's Club in the meantime. They have some video games and other stuff like air hockey to pass the time, but I think it would be better if there were other entertainments there to pass the time if you have to wait awhile. If it is your first time , they provide an orientation with a focus on safety. I liked that because there are some people who might drive aggressively on the track and that makes it a little less fun for novices like me. People can still go fast but they discouraged from ramming people or making them crash into a wall. You will hear your name over the loudspeaker and you go to the entry gate. You're given your head sock to wear under your helmet (95% less chance of cooties that way!) and then they put you in your cars. As soon as the previous race is done, they roll you out onto the track. It is fun but a lot of work. I was sweating by the end of my first race! It was a lot of fun and there were people going super fast but they were able to go around Grandpa Bill. We finished the first race and waited about 20 minutes for our next one. Our times improved considerably. It is cool because they email you your results so you have a record of each race along with your splits. If you have a pre-teen or teenager, I think this would be a popular place for a birthday party. There were a couple going on when we were there and you should have seen the kids faces after the races. They were stoked and to be honest, I kind of was too. We got two races and for two people it cost about $90. I would definitely do this again.

Wouldn't recommend this place if you want to go really fast they kept slowing down my go kart. oh & definitely don't get the food here promise you it's disgusting

I have been to this location more than three times the employees are incredibly funny and great. They have refreshments and food in case you're hungry as well. It's a bit pricey but for racing it's great. I tried it once for my boyfriends birthday and ever since then I have been hooked. Any special occasion let me and my boyfriend have we choose to come here. I recommend everyone come here for a great time. Super fun if you're a speed junkie.

I finally got the chance to bring my whole family in and everyone loved it. Everyone in the family had a blast. We did 2 races each so pricing wasn't bad as long as you buy it in the package deals. All the staff was extremely nice. We walked in and were greeted with a smile. The track guys were also nice when going over the rules. Over all it was a great time all around. Definitely coming back again!

What is the weight limit for adult karts in houston location? Thanks

What height do you need to ride it or what age?

Hello Yensis! Thanks for your interest. Our junior karts require a minimum height of 48", while our adult karts require a minimum height of 4'10". Guests will also need to safely reach the pedals and steering wheel, which at those heights, they…

I really loved that even adults can join in--sliding, jumping, and just having a good time right along with the kids. Because it was a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded at all, which made the experience even better. There was plenty of space for the kids to run around and enjoy themselves without feeling overwhelmed. The party itself was great. There were lots of kids, pizza provided by the venue, and a variety of treats like cake pops and other sweets that were made by the birthday girl's mom--everything was nicely done and enjoyable. The pizza was actually good, which is always a plus at kids' parties. The staff was pretty decent--nice and friendly--and the restrooms were clean. My only small complaint is that the restrooms didn't have paper towels, only hand dryers, which I personally don't love. Other than that, everything was good. The boys went home full, happy, and satisfied. All in all, it was a great way to spend a Tuesday night, and I'd definitely recommend Slick City Action Park for a kids' party or just some active family fun.

That was my fault because I thought it was adult night since the times were 830 to 1030 neon night. To my surprise, I walked into the venue to see many children and adults . They do have adult nights, but it wasn't the day that I went. Pro - I really enjoyed riding down on the slides and surprisingly it wasn't a long wait time, despite the large number of people in the venue. A by the end of the night I definitely got my 10K steps. Con - I hate that we had to pay full price for entry despite waiting in line for almost 40 minutes. The second con is enforcing the policy to where their specific socks versus any grip socks. Overall, it was a very great time! They do have other activities available: basketball, dodgeball zip lines. I didn't really participate in those areas except the mini zipline , but it's nice to know that they have other options available for people other than slides.

All guests were required to bounce, including the adults and counted towards the total headcount, even if they didn't participate! So sad cause the grandparents definitely didn't jump! The venue itself is nice and new, and kept clean! There's a giant bounce house, a small arcade area, and a small prize room from the arcade games! We were able to show up 15 minutes early to set up, and no sooner, even if they didn't have previous guests in the room! They literally had us waiting in the lobby until the minute! They did provide carts cause we brought in additional pizzas, drinks and snacks for the kiddos! The party host helped us unload the drinks and stuff in the room, and there was a decent size fridge in the room to keep things cold as well! The kids had an amazing time!! Everyone was sweaty within the hour! Even the adults had fun, at the least the ones that participated. They announced the cake and everyone came back to the room! A giant mascot, with the biggest head (he had to walk sideways to enter the party room ^_^ which was hilarious), came into the room to give my son a present and take photos with the birthday boy and his friends! They even printed two and framed it as a surprise at the end! Super sweet and a nice unexpected surprise! Then came the cake.. we had candles and they brought us a lighter but forgot the knife! That plastic knife doesn't work very well.. I wish they'd offer something sturdier! The party host we had was ok - not the most attentive and most times we couldn't even find her around. The designated host should be nearby, especially during cake time! Overall, we had an amazing time and I think it made a memorable party! My son absolutely loved it and was so sad when it ended. I was hoping we'd get some tickets to makeup for those that weren't used, from our 40.. the party host told us she would ask and they said it was a possibility when I called to book, but nothing ever came of this. We did get a small card for arcade games.. not much for the price of the party and those arcades take way too many points for what they are! We also got 3 tickets to come back, included in our package. We had fun and a few things would've made it even better - but overall a successful party and having everything provided made it so easy! Kids and adults alike had a blast, I recommend for anyone thinking of a day trip or a party venue for kids! I even had some young teens here who said they didn't expect to have fun but did! Winning!

My boys loved the train ride and riding on the dinosaurs the most. I like that the place includes both indoor and outdoor stations. The place seems rather small compared to an amusement park like Six Flags, but it's just enough. Kids can easily spend 30 minutes - 1 hour in just one location so I really like how they can enjoy their time and casually play without parents feeling overwhelmed to get everything done to maximize the amount of money spent. We didn't host a birthday party here, but there were other parties booked. I don't know how much it costs, but let me say that the decorations were beautiful! I'm not sure if it was included or if the parents decorated themselves, but if you wanted to go all out for your child, you certainly can. The staff were also ALL super sweet and friendly! The place plans for everything, like rain. They had numerous umbrellas for patrons to use within the grounds. When it started to rain, all the staff were asking if we needed umbrellas, and one even was willing to run in the rain to get us one! Seriously, I've never seen such hospitality in an establishment from everyone! I also would recommend going here on a weekend because according to their website, more stations and activities are open during that time. Even if it's more crowded, I think it is worth it. And then, sometime near the turn of the century, the Kemah Boardwalk changed all that. Out-of-town visitors by the -- give or take -- tens of thousands pay a visit every spring and summer, making Kemah a necessary item on any Houston travel itinerary. As a lifelong resident of the Houston area, I've been to the Boardwalk quite a few times for that rare opportunity to fine dine or show relatives from afar around. In my latest visit, my older brother, my eldest cousin, and I took our cousins visiting for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary here for a good hour or two on a comfortably warm day. While I'm not that thrilled that the Boardwalk is under the Landry's corporate umbrella, I still feel it's a landmark worth treating your guests to. The nearby Clear Creek and Galveston Bay look spectacular when the weather is cooperating, providing for an ideal backdrop for selfies and group pictures. Continuing on the subject of pictures, train your phones or cameras on the place's piece de resistance, the amusement park area. The famed Rattler is the most visually striking feature of the complex in my book. My poor health prevents me from getting on the rides except for the train, but I can't pass up a chance to take snaps of them. The six of us took the train around the Boardwalk. It was a great, quick way to catch a glimpse of the premises. Two tunnels, with one that's attached to Saltgrass Steakhouse, are a part of the short trek. If you're capturing pictures, I recommend that you do them in bursts . The train may move at a slow speed, but things tend to go by really fast. I almost forgot, there's a row of games that you would find at a traditional amusement park along the water. Highly recommend if you have kids. The Boardwalk isn't exactly for me, but it doesn't stop me from giving it close to high marks.

How about this: #1000, I'm the first one to write a review on it, and one of the great rollercoasters in the country. The Boardwalk Bullet opened in 2007 a few feet from Galveston Bay. It's a woodie, and it's a crazy one. I had heard that the Texas Cyclone was relocated here from Astroworld, that DID NOT happen, these are two very different coasters. From a distance, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. The reality is much greater. First, you're waiting in line, and when the train zips under you, the entire structure shakes. Second, there is a place to put your hat, purse, phone, etc.; loose articles are prohibited. If you're nervous about riding, simply step through the train and leave, although you just lost $6 by doing so. If you do sit down, you're in for a thrill. I rode near the back, but I don't think there's a lot of difference between front and back. The Bullet never slows down from the first drop to the finish. There are three big drops, and they're all gnarly. The big feature, indeed is speed: although it barely goes over 50mph, the turns are tight, the drops are sudden, and you have only a split second to prepare for anything. The Bullet packs a lot into a small space, which makes it more intense than 80mph on a 200-foot drop. Its high noise level increases the excitement level. It's like a smaller version of the Ghost Rider in California's Knott's Berry Farm: smaller, shorter, but the same out-of-control feel. Some coasters are yawners. Others have you say "hey, that was pretty good." The Boardwalk Bullet is one of those that you'll want to ride again and again and again.

If you are 100+ years old, frail, barely able to walk and such, but yet you're trying to decide whether or not you should try a ride on the Boardwalk Bullet, I assure you, you'll be fine! Fast forward to today, October 2026, while back in Katy our son asked to go back to "the digger world," and we were happy to oblige. Much nicer weather (mid-80's), less humidity and a breeze definitely added to the experience this time around, however we were a tad disappointed that they still don't have many shaded areas or places to rest. Lack of rest spots aside, our son had a blast--even more so this 2nd time around.
