We said yes, and then waited for 15 minutes for her to return. In the mean time she kept serving to go orders and never glanced our way. We got up and walked out - she didn't seem to even realize we were waiting. Completely clueless. I've been coming here for 16 years and it's always been consistently good, both food and service. No one working even seemed to realize what was going on. Quite disappointing.

The place is clean and well managed overall, wait staffs are pleasant the small town folk friendly feel. Food portion is definitely larger then most similar type of sushi places in big cities. We eat raw fish so freshness is very important to us, this place passed the quality standard for us, we ordered what we normally choose in other sushi places, and ended up taking quite a few home being so full with the big portions lol. Will definitely visit again if we pass by next time

This place is my go to…read more Hands down the best food truck I've been too. I found them once when they were on Pacific blvd and since then it seems like they moved to the barn at hickory station. No worries Kento, I would follow you anywhere. It's around $13.50 for a combo plate (I get chicken and steak) and I think that is absolutely reasonable. The other food trucks in the area charge maybe slightly less but you get cold, mediocre food. I would gladly pay for a plate of fresh made food that feels like it comes right off a hibachi grill. Service is usually pretty quick, but understand that they are cooking you food and not microwaving it, that takes some time. Overall I adore this place and anytime I don't feel like cooking I try to convince my husband to get me something from here. 10/10 will always be a go to for take out.

They have Sapporo on tap which is nice. Also had the edamame as an appetizer. The server wasn't super on top of her game so the sushi boat sat for quite awhile before I finally said something and she realized it had been ready. Not the end of the world but definitely a training opportunity. The sushi was good--not great. But it was also priced in that range so no problem. Good portions making it a good value. No complaints and everything was within expectations.

There are plenty of things I was noticing as I looked at the same area of the restaurant again and again. Lots of interesting touches that made it more pub/homey (if that makes any sense). It's definitely a smaller restaurant so come during off hours or I think they might allow for reservations. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. A bit of a limited menu but not putting that against them, as long as the food is good it doesn't matter. Got the pickled eggs and pretzel for the appetizer. The pretzel was standard but the sweet mustard sauce was amazing. Pickled eggs were different but it was the first time I tried them and I'm glad that I did. Give them a try. For mains got the shepherd's pie, sausage and mash, and the firehouse chili. Would recommend the shepherd's pie, the firehouse chili was not my personal favorite sort of chili but it does seem like other reviews liked it, so give it a shot and form your own opinion. I liked the sausage but the mash not so much, more grainy than smooth. If you take nothing else from my review, get the sticky toffee pudding. Very indulgent especially after a heavy meal but it was quickly polished off. Overall, decent food with some gems. Definitely a lot of character to it, and unique for the area.

Large party of 20 for sit down lunch or seminar? They have that as well. Just make sure you call ahead and reserve, please. As for food, their salads and burgers were amazing. But as for me, I had the Turkey dinner. Real turkey too! With all the necessary fixings. Also, need an adult beverage? Absolutely! Their bar is open during the same time as the restaurant, and it looks well kept, well loved, and most importantly, well stocked! Also don't forget your staff, be nice, and tip well! Turns out we could NOT grill them, but this was not explained to us when we ordered, and then had an extremely weird & uncomfortable meal. A man working at the restaurant came over with the raw meats, stood there the whole time, grilled it, wouldn't let us do it ourselves, which was weird enough, but then proceeded to tell us what to dip things in, how much salad to serve ourselves, what to eat the meats with, what not to eat meats with, and was generally bossy. Supposedly this is due to customers coming in not having done Korean BBQ before and not knowing how long to grill meats, however we had all been to Korean BBQ joints before, and knew how it worked, but were not asked. We just awkwardly sat there in silence as none of us felt like continuing our conversation until the guy was done and left us alone. (3 different meats we ordered, one cooked after another, no say from us on how or when) Staff were friendly enough and food was good but this was weird and I won't be back.
