I also wish there had been more transparency beforehand about what products and prep would be needed. I wasn't informed that I should arrive with skincare already done as some places prefer their own products to avoid pilling, but there didn't seem to be basics available like moisturizer. The makeup products used felt very drying on my skin, and the product selection overall seemed quite limited for a full makeup service. For example, lips were never done, and there wasn't even an eyelash curler available. For hair, the service mainly consisted of a rough blow dry as I came with washed hair, brushing, and a simple style with hairspray, which felt underwhelming for the price point. I did request a simple voluminous style, but I still expected more finishing/styling work like round brushing and product use than a basic blow dry and pinning. Overall, while everyone was kind and welcoming, I personally did not feel the services matched the cost ($120 for makeup and $70 for hair), especially since I ended up redoing most of it at home before my event. I'm sure they may be a better fit for other services, but I likely would not return for hair and makeup styling.

I always book my appointments in advance, so I really value consistency and communication. At my most recent appointment, I got a call about an hour before letting me know the stylist I had booked with was unavailable because of a family emergency. I completely understand that emergencies happen, but this has happened to me more than a few times over the years, and it was not always a family emergency. I still went in. They were able to do my all-over color and trim my bangs, but I left feeling really disappointed. My hair was left wet, and my bangs weren't styled until I asked. For a service that cost $250, I expected to leave looking and feeling more put together. I asked my family if it looked like I had gone to the hairdresser and they all said: not really. What made this more frustrating is that it wasn't a one-time issue. Over the years, I've also had last-minute schedule changes, been asked to switch salon locations after booking, had appointments changed to a different stylist, had a hairdryer dropped on my head and felt like I didn't just drop $200+ on a service. There have been multiple times where the service just didn't feel consistent with the price. I do want to say that not everyone here has given me a bad experience. Crystal has always been reliable, consistent, and very good at what she does. Diana, the esthetician, is also excellent. I'm leaving this review because I think consistency and client experience really matter. I kept hoping things would improve, but after several similar experiences, I felt it was fair to be honest.

I initially found this place on Groupon, actually. I bought a 90 mins treatment voucher. The lady, who scheduled my appointment, was very nice and flexible with my timing. I remember one of the workers called, and my appointment was able to get rescheduled quickly on the same day. When I entered the spa, I was instantly offered warm herbal tea. It was very relaxing overall. After that, I was escorted to the back room for the massage experience. It felt really good with the technician's strong hands working on my scalp! It was the therapy that I needed. To be honest, I didn't fall asleep because I think I was curious on what would occur next. Haha. Whenever there's something to be worked on my head and face and I am required to close my eyes, I would also like to know or to at least feel what would happen to me next. Next I was served their special Harmony tea and seated at a little table with some assorted chocolates to help myself to. Karen came out to take me back for my treatment, with a restroom stop on the way. Once inside the headspa treatment room, I was taken to our space and shown a cute box to place my items including a jewelry box for my watch. I was left to dress down a bit into a top covering towel wrap and then set up on the table for my treatment, tucked in with a knee rest and soft cozy blankets. The massage was amazing (I did the $90 treatment which does not have the facial). My neck, shoulders, arms, face, head and scalp were all deeply and expertly massaged and it was so relaxing! The hair washing and conditioner treatments were great with good rinse, though the water was colder at times (perhaps because the products warranted different temps for them to do what they do) and I did get a little shampoo on my cheek. I would have loved a lavender scented eye covering for protection from water splashing. After the wash portion, I was wrapped up in a towel, I got dressed and then my hair was blow dried in the salon with some finishing spray. I would say some minor fine tunes for this place would be: to improve the toilet situation- when I sat down it creaked and groaned and I'm a pretty light bird! Perhaps the landlord or shop owner can address this in time, as it was a little disconcerting to feel like the toilet was not secure. The curtains between tables in the headspa area are a bit see through so perhaps doubling up the fabric in the areas where bodies are changing (2-4 feet from the floor). The top of the room also opens to the main salon so I could hear people talking during my treatment and I prefer quiet; perhaps a way to block the noise towards the ceiling where the wall is incomplete would be an option to consider. All in all though, I plan to go back here for more treatments including the headspa offerings!

Gave me my first haircut, perm, highlights, Balayage and the list goes on. Typically, I always need to refresh my balayage and come in for a split end trim. I always get my hair layered bc its super thick and heavy. Teresa always knows exactly what to do. If I'm going for something different than my usual, I bring in pictures and that is all she needs! This woman has been doing my lashes for a while and they are the fluffiest, most long lasting sets I've gotten. Trust me when I tell you, this retention is ! She's very accommodating as I started to get allergic reactions to the glue she was using, she had other glue types which were hypoallergenic or just better for sensitive peepz. Not only does she do lashes but she also does hair! I've attached some photos of her work on my hair! Pricing is competitive but also depends on the service you are getting. I have so much hair and she got through it without a problem... the fluffy volume lash fills are also at a fair price! The salon is completely new so you will feel completely comfortable and refreshing during your appointment. Not sure if this will change but during my appointments, the salon did not have a receptionist so you contact your artist once you have arrived for your appointment and they will bring you back to their station(s).
