Switching my lash place because my previous lash lady's glue was so bad, it always felt like torture when I was getting them done. But, the lashes always came out looking fantastic. Thought I'd give Bad & Boujee a try - really wanted to like them but the result was so bad. My appointment was supposed to be at 12:30. I arrived around 12:45 b/c of my toddler. But, she didn't start on my lashes till almost 1:30, after the lash removal since she was still running late with the lady before. This was on Mother's Day, too . What I told her: Normally I get Mega volume, but lately I've been getting regular volume so it doesn't look as "va voom," especially since my toddler sometimes will punch me in the face and it affects my lashes falling out. After sharing this, Skye asked me if I was ok to try another style. I said I was ok with it, but I needed to have enough lashes so that even if my toddler hits me in the face, I would still have lashes left over. She suggested the wet lash style, which I had seen on the internet and seemed fine according to what I had seen. I do not believe my result is normally what the wet lash look is supposed to look like. Pros: Skye was really sweet and extremely gentle - completely the opposite experience from my previous lash lady. I really enjoyed talking to her. Cons: this is barely any lashes. I'm sorry, but the lashes I walked out the shop with is usually how many lashes I have remaining 3 weeks to 1 month later. I FaceTimed my best friend and she was like, you paid for that? It looks like nothing! It was $40 just for the removal. I paid total $240 including tax and tip for the service. It took me a couple weeks to review because I hate posting negative reviews, especially when people are nice - but I came for the service and literally I can barely look at my own face because wdym I paid $240 for this?!? If I'm paying $200+ for lashes, I want to see them. This is not it. And I'm supposed to go on vacay. It may be that having one hour less due to running late and the removal affected the amount she could put since the time period was shorter - but I've had my lashes done all over the world and this is the most disappointed I've been in YEARS. And usually my result is much better than this with 1.5hrs.

Little did I know I would be finding the only hair stylist to ever get my hair exactly how I wanted---honestly even better than I imagined it! Even when I showed prior stylists numerous pictures of what I had in mind (and even once drew out what I was trying to emphasize what I wanted, which was a layered style that tapered to a V shape at the bottom) it always ended up looking very rounded and horizontal regardless. When I told Ashley my usual request she didn't ask too many questions about it so I thought "well, here we go again". Turns out she didn't need any more info because she knew exactly what I was going for and did it flawlessly! The next day when I was walking through a parking lot some random woman scared the bejeesus out of me when she shouted "NICE LAYERS!" Today I went back for my second haircut with Ashley and was curious to see if maybe the first perfect cut was just luck, but once again she nailed it effortlessly. After spending two hours extra in the chair sitting twiddling my thumbs, and paying for multiple colorings just to match, three additional hours later I had two wefts installed and a cut Only to find they completely forgot to color and install a whole other weft. I left with the promise we would work together on the coloring and install of the forgotten weft at the time of move up. One week after install, ALL wefts had managed to come unsewn at the initial stitching plain as day when looking at me straight on. After a few weeks due to my work schedule, I called to book an appointment and was declined stating Lexi was unsure that I would be a good fit as their client. I believe this to be due to the fact that myself and three of her stylists all agreed the platinum blonde was not the correct choice. You were called out and then asked to be accountable and yet you've managed to not step up once. way to go Lexi, no wonder you're left having to hire more stylists.
