NY STYLE man it's great ny pie. We did the pepp it was huge see pic and $31. They got the automated credit card thingee. Lots of beers incl domestic ultra & bud light. Easy parking and wonderful Hawi town. Plenty of seats inside and out. Nice people there and a good crowd of regulars. 20 and 30 somethings. It was a lot of fun. Well worth the trip from the Westin. Five stars all the way we had a good time, we drove up to the statue and then on the way back down the street We stopped at the market and bought some fruits to throw in the fridge at the hotel. You'll never find a scenic drive like this anywhere else you're kind of up in the mountains way north Hawaii Island, but the sea is everywhere and beautiful. read more

Besttttt pizza. I DREAM about their baked potato pizza. They have bingo, trivia, a bar, slices, and a rotating special. You can get the slice schedule and event schedule on their website. The chocolate molten lava cake is good too! And the back patio table is nice to sit at. read more

Went to the food truck at Kawaihae. The pizza and service was excellent. We were there about 6:30 and sat at the one outside table. The setting was in a parking lot beside the road across from the industrial part of the harbor but everything was fine. The crust was awesome as well as the toppings. Not a lot to choose from but the menu makes that plain. If you're looking for a great pizza at a reasonable price with wonderful people, this is the place! read more

Really enjoyed the new spot in Hawi where we could have our pizza and garlic knots fresh. The food was delicious and the service was great. We ordered a slice with truffle oil drizzle and before we knew it was missing the lady that took our order was letting us know a new slice was coming as we ordered it. I ordered for pickup from the KO Pizza food truck at Kawaihae. Pizza tasty and larger than expected. Worker/Chef cordial and service oriented. Loved the crust. Only wish is that it would be nice if the food truck offered drizzles and more topping choices. When I ordered cheese, pepperoni and pizza of the day were the only choices available. read more

In their tiny space in Hawi town on the Big Island this couple is pulling it off.Daily they offer plain, pepperoni and a revolving special by the slice or whole pie. Optional toppings such as Mac nut pesto are brilliant ! Been hoping a good pizza place would open up along the Kohala Coast. Saw their signs for ordering pizza by phone and looked them up. This is the real deal NY pizza. I've had it many times in NYC and this is it. Nice little outdoor space if you want to stay and eat. They just need an "Order Here" sign as there's several door/window things in the vicinity and it wasn't obvious (at least to me). Very minor. The lady making the pizza was very nice and after 15mins I was on my way with a whole pepperoni pie. You can fold the slice if you want to do the full NY thing. Very tasty when fresh. I'm also an aficionado of cold (refrigerated) pizza the next day. This pizza held up very well, never soggy. Definitely recommend K.O. Pizza for the best pizza on the island that I've had. Bring cash if you can. They take cards but cash helps I'm sure. read more

This hidden gem is a great stop on Sundays and Mondays. It is family ran and they are so nice. The pizzas are huge, crispy bits of NY style pizza. The location is under a huge banyan tree and they're always jamming some great music. I am a pizza connoisseur and this is currently my favorite spot. read more

Just a few words ... Way too much garlic. Nice lady at the counter, but the garlic knots and the basil garlic tomato were 80% too much garlic and too oily. Garlic knot bread needs to be softer. On the positive side... The buffalo chicken slice was really good! read more

Good pizza but always makes me very thirsty after I eat. Don't know why that is. Pretty friendly service. You wait which is no big deal because made after ordering and nice area outdoor atmosphere.
