Just moved here from California and was looking for a great nail salon as I had back there. The first salon I went to in Surfside did a terrible job with my fill. 2 weeks after getting them done, they were lifting, cracking and I even ended up with a fungus under one nail. I walked into K Nails and sat down with Vincent. He not only repaired, corrected and replaced some of the damaged acrylic, but when he was finished with all of my nails they looked wonderful! He really cared about my unhappiness with the other nail salon and promised me that their salon not only use the best product, but told me that I wouldn't have to worry about those issues when I got my nails done with them. I don't recommend this place. It's dirty The owner wasn't helpful in resolving my issue. I got my nails done by Patricia they were so thick the acrylic was on my cuticles. She was vaping while doing my nails. She walked away multiple times to go outside or in the back. Same day I called saying I had to get my nails removed at another salon due to acrylic being on my cuticles and caused them to be inflamed and red. They said they did not have a way to give me a Refund ( I paid with card ) I went back and forth kindly explaining everything and continued to be lied to about the service and not being able to get a refund. Another great pedicure from Sam. I commented back in October after the first time, but another wonderful experience and want to mention the prior pedicure lasted about 5 weeks. Rare. I went there a few times. Lady was rude each time. Also, I had an appointment and was sitting waiting for a bit. She started doing my manicure when a walk-in came in and just wanted her gel polish removed and she left me, removed the walk-in's polish then came back to me. The 2nd visit, she kept taking personal phone calls, interrupting my manicure, leaving me sitting. The 3rd time she rushed through my manicure and left early. ALLERGY~ I'm new to the area so I'm trying several different nail salons to find one I like. Stopped in today for a pedicure. I'm allergic to Latex gloves and also bring non latex gloves with me since most salons use latex gloves because their the cheapest. I walked in and asked for a pedicure and held up my bag of gloves and said Im allergic to latex so I brought non latex. The man said that's ok we have non latex gloves I said really?? He said yes we only use NON latex. I walked back and saw the nail technician snap on gloves that looked just like latex. So I go over to the box and yup LATEX gloves. Really dude!!! ‍ Made the technician wash her hands and use my gloves. The pedicure itself was nothing great and ok polish job. Best part she polished my toes before putting the flip flops on so then she had to carefully put on my flip flops with wet toe polish ‍ Pedicure was $25. I won't be back. read more

This used to be our go-to place for years. Recently things have changed, Ryan is gone now, too. Today we both left bleeding after our pedicures. The same older lady did both our pedicures at the same time. We made appointments for 2 pedicures but since it was one person we were there for an hour and a half. My mama had a little chunk cut off the end of her toe because the lady got skin with the clippers!! She clipped my skin on my cuticle area. Plus, my polish didn't cover the sides of my nails. I don't think she can see!! Zero compensation or concern. read more

The gentleman that did my nails wasn't gentle at all and did not do a full manicure he did not clean up my cuticles and did not not a final nail file so the tip of my nails are rough. My family and I were in Surfside for vacation and I did a bunch of research on local nail salons because I wanted to take someone there for a mani/pedi as their birthday present. This salon got great reviews, much higher than other local nail salons so I thought it was a no brainer. It was a little farther away than others, plus wasn't open on Sunday when others were. But I waited because this place got better reviews. I called the morning we wanted to go to be sure they could fit two people in and they said we could come on in. I was unimpressed with the atmosphere, it was slightly older and looked a bit dirty. They had a small selection of gel colors and some were supposed to be exact matches (toe color was supposed to exactly match the gel nail color). I chose one of these. The tech that worked on me was far too liberal with the nail clippers and cut me on two different occasions just during the pedi. She was also super rough during the leg massage. I get my nails done every 2-3 weeks so I know the process for gels, but the tech kept telling me to relax and not to help her and how to put my hands under the lamp etc etc. When my fingers were almost done it was apparent that my toes did not match. They are at least 2-3 shades darker, which is not a huge deal, but still not as promised. When I left the salon, I realized there were huge bubbles of polish on both thumbs that looked terrible. It was essentially a long gunk of polish on both thumbs that ran the length of my nails. Later in the day, the polish on my right thumb started peeling. There was also a lot of polish that didn't get cleaned up on my skin, both hands and feet. My friends nails looked good and her technician was very nice and did a great job. That was the only upside beside that was it was super cheap. Two mani/pedis plus gel plus paraffin wax hand dip was less than $75. But I wouldn't rush to get your nails done here. read more

I returned and the gentleman, Vincent who did my nails the last time was not there. A young woman did my nails, and not only was it painful, but my nails are laughable. Honestly I showed my friend my nails and she snorted while she laughed, and then apologized for it. The owner witnessed me cry out in pain, and didn't address me, but spoke in a foreign language to her. I didn't have my glasses on while she was doing my nails, (as I was being waxed) so I couldn't clearly see them until after I put my glasses on, as I was leaving. I will not be going back. read more

I moved to Myrtle Beach about 5 years ago and have been going here since then with my mom. Vincent and Lily were amazing people that did AMAZING on nails as well as customer service.. I went in today for the first time since COVID started and I was not happy with with atmosphere at all. Vincent and Lily were not working, so a lady named Leslie was in the seat that Lily usually sits at.. As I walked in Leslie was not friendly what so ever.. She very rudely told me to wash my hands and wait on the couch. I asked her where the gel colors were to choose from and she rudely answered. I had a nice man that did my nails & did excellent with my nails as well as customer service. I sat quietly as he did my nails. I listened to Leslie with other customers the entire time I was getting my nails done as she was nasty rude and even at one point told a lady to not talk, because she was coughing. It is so saddening that this lady is being so nasty to customers, because I know the owners would not let that happen if they were there. I will not be back until the owners are. read more

I went here and I loved it! Everyone is so friendly and funny, and they do AMAZING nails. I had Vincent who was absolutely wonderful! Im so grateful they take walk ins! Its a great pice for a full set of acrylics. Some places I go to, my nails end up in pain, but he was very gentle and very funny. We had a 2:00 appointment for 3, a fill in, a gel and a pedi. And I was the only one to be serviced. My two friends ( one who has been a longtime customer) had to leave as it would be a long wait. They went to a different nail salon. I had the pedi done by the owner. She was on her phone practically the whole time. I find that completely rude. I just moved to Myrtle Beach from Westchester NY, and I was damn there married to my last nail lady so Parting ways with her wasn't only sad but also nerve racking because I Feared I would never find a place so clean and comforting and accommodating as my last. Well finally I came across KNails and was beyond pleased during my first experience. Place was very clean and they had a great variety of OPI , ChinaGlaze, Dare to wear and Gel colors, they upsold me on the gel which was only a 7$ difference and I was very pleased with the shape, look, and feel of the process. Vincent did my nails he asked me how I liked them he did exactly as I asked short and square. He was pleasant, the food network was playing on the television which was another pleasant add, NOT ESPN as previously mentioned on here. The music was relaxing the pedicure massage chairs were comfortable clean and new and accented with cute pillows. They offered me a bottle of water I wasn't charged for which coming from NY where you are charged for the air you breathe I enjoyed that. Lily did an excellent job on my toes, I did the upgraded pedicure again only 10$ more but there were so many more benefits including the Milk & Honey Scrub. I am a waitress on my feet 11 hours sometimes and I can contest that my feet are smooth as ever after my pedicure, they look pretty and clean and I left with the toe separators, new and clean, not paper towel between the toes like most places. This place was very nice over all I enjoyed my experience and will definitely return. Definitely one of the Better places in Myrtle Beach being that I tried quite a few. I spent $70 flat on fullest gel tips and an upgraded pedicure and was very pleased. They will be seeing me again soon. read more

Went there once and will absolutely never go back. The owner was very short with my friend from the time we walked through the door. It progressed into him being shockingly rude to the point where I had to leave mid pedicure (I still paid full price even though they absolutely didn't deserve it). Went instead to Fancy Nails right down the road on 17 and had incredible service with brand new massage chairs! Don't waste your time here when there is an adorable family running a fabulous salon so close by! read more

I'm only giving them 3 stars since Vincent and Lily are very great at doing nails. Every time I get my nails done from them they turn out perfect. I've had Lynn a few days ago and my nails look like a joke. My cuticles are dry, the nails are uneven shapes and sizes, and my nails were bleeding from her ripping off my hang nails. My nails looked worse after I got them done, than before I walked in. I bite my nails so that says something. I also have the acrylic power hardened over my ripped/bleeding fingers so I'm hoping they don't get infected from that. They have great prices, so if you decide to go just make sure you ask for Vincent or Lily. read more

Just moved to the area from out of state have been getting my nails done for almost 20 years...took my 2 daughters here with me...very slim selection of gel polish...the gentleman that did my nails was very rough and the polish looked like it was painted by a 2 year old...i was so upset i went to leave and he kept trying to fix it i was tired of being there so long and being so unhappy...finally the owner Vincent stepped in and did fix it and my nails did end up looking good he thinned them out and fixed the polish....I'm just curious how an employee is working there though who does such a poor job it reflects so badly on their business...also my 13 year old daughter was cut numerous times getting her manicure...i was shocked at how rough this salon was...Vincent asked us to give his business a 2nd chance....that is still debatable at this point because I'm not sure how you employ such poor nail technicians and expect to keep valued customers read more

The first time I came here in September Kim did my pedicure and did an excellent job. Unfortunately she is no longer there. Rating this 3 stars mainly because of the atmosphere and would rate 4 stars on my nails itself. My French manicure is crooked. I wish I would have noticed it sooner to have it fixed but I just wanted to get out of there. I did have my pedicure fixed while there. Onto the environment - the salon did not appear to cater to female clients. Each time I was there ESPN is on. The person doing my nails would not stop talking about sports - even when I told him I just watch occasional games. I even asked about catering more to women and he said the owner "doesn't allow anyone to change his station." I do watch football on Sundays was just hoping for more of a spa like experience. read more

I can't speak for the pedicures; however, do not go here to have your nails done. I got pink and whites (simple enough). I felt as though he rushed doing my nails, but they didn't look bad so I was originally satisfied. It was not even a week later and my nails all began to fall off. I have never had this happen before two weeks. It was as if the tips were not glued on properly and the powder they use doesn't adhere to your real nail. Such a waste of money. read more

I live locally and stumbled across this place on accident. I needed my nails done last minute and they were able to help me immediately. The staff was extremely pleasant and place was beautifully decorated. Vincent did an outstanding job on my nails!! I have short trouble nails as I am a nail biter and he went above and beyond to make my nails beautiful again. I will never go anywhere else as I can get my pedicure, eyebrows and facial all in one place!
