I tried this nail salon again after a disappointing visit to their other location down the road. Justin performed my service (dip gel fill), and I am extremely unhappy with both the workmanship and his behavior. He applied numerous layers of base and top coat over dip gel, and repeatedly applied activator to the dip, which is not standard practice, which produced an uneven, poor finish. My nails are lumpy, top coat doesn't cover the whole nail on some fingers, and there are divers in them. And... IT'S NOT EVEN THE COLOR I PICKED. With dip, you can't see the actual color until the end. I was so distracted and frustrated that I didn't realize it until later. I picked a pretty sparkly red. This is a solid shiny red. When I raised concerns about the quality of my nails, Justin was dismissive, spoke to coworkers in his language instead of addressing the issue, and even laughed at me while looking me in the face. He was huffing, banging things around, stopped finishing my nails so he could condescendingly explain to me why I was "wrong" about the quality of my nails, etc. It was so unprofessional and disrespectful. After an 80-minute appointment I left frustrated, and when I got to my car in natural light the nails looked even worse. I returned to the desk and showed Tiffany; she agreed the finish was uneven and offered for Justin to fix them. Because he had already been rude and argumentative, I did not feel comfortable having him touch my nails again. Tiffany acknowledged his behavior and said he was "offended" by my feedback, then suggested I come back another day, despite other staff being available (sitting around on their phones) at the time. I asked for a refund because I'll need to have my nails corrected elsewhere- that's how noticeably bad they are. I don't expect perfection- I just expect for my nails to at least look good. I was also told that cuticle care costs extra, since they didn't do that for me today. So the $51 I paid covered only a (poor) dip fill with no nail art and no cuticle work. Given the combination of poor technique and dismissive and rude staff behavior, I cannot recommend this salon or their other location. Go anywhere else besides here and their other nail salon (Ultra Lux). read more

This is the best nail salon in the world. Ann & Mike are amazing! I create my own toe nail designs by using AI on Gemini and then Ann replicates them perfectly every time. She is truly an artist! I came in with an inspo photo for a dark blue French tip design with gold stars and moons. Unfortunately, the result didn't turn out as expected--the tips came out a bright electric blue, the design was much thicker than I had hoped, and the moon couldn't be done. Instead of a gold accent, it looked more like white with glitter on top, so I told him to just scrap the design. The pedicure I received was nice, and I think this would be a good spot for a simple gel color. However, for designs, my experience wasn't great, especially considering the set cost $87 (prices aren't listed online). the gel extensions were done nicely it was more the paint/design on top and I'll probably be painting over them when I get home. I've been here in the past and had a great experience so idk if this was an off day but i don't think I'll be returning. They were very sweet and offered complimentary mimosas to my mom. Update: i decided to go back and ask if I could just get solids instead of the french tips and they were more than happy to fix the color for me. Very disappointed, my previous review for this nail salon was very positive because I had a great experience. However when I came back 3 weeks later I received a bad and painful bonder gel manicure. The inconsistency is not worth the prices being on the high end scale. I asked to get them removed and after asking 6 times for them to completely take them off I just gave up. This salon also does NOT offer refunds, only fixes. Even if they don't fix them. I can't get them re done somewhere else because my nails are paper thin now. BAIT AND SWITCH !! The pedicure menu is deceiving!! My friend and I asked for the $39 pedicure with gel polish and the employee pointed to the $59 package implying that this was the price with gel. Little did we know it did not include gel and when we checked out, we had to pay an additional $20 on top of that charge.. never have I ever paid $80 for a pedicure...and it was very basic and rushed. If i could give this zero stars i would... i kept telling the guy it's not what i asked for and he kept saying that it was fine and that they were pretty. Also asked another nail tech to change it and just put white polish on but she kept saying she'd put chrome over them instead. The man was very rough and left nail polish all over my fingers/hands. I am so upset with this nail salon thought I got good service paid a 110 and tip 20 have a new set put on with gel not a week later exactly 7 days after They started feeling loose and the gel peeled off my nail I been getting my nails done for almost 35 years that never happened So called and they couldn't accommodate my time so I asked for the manager and the manager said come on in and she would do it. She did it and charged me $10 to replace the nail gel I've never reported or put a bad remark on anybody's reviews, but this needed to be told. I don't go for pedicures often..so when I went for my appointment - the older gentleman showed me a menu and sold me the $67 package. As he started - he clipped my toenails first - then the soak - barely filed the rough edges...the rest of the treatment was ok - then the polish - I had my toes drying for 30 minutes and when I felt my one toe - it was still tacky - so he added more polish..dry for another 20 minutes - still not dry - he wanted to add more polish and more top coat...I told him to take it all off. I am so very disheartened. I have been going to this nail salon for a year. I've always gave them compliments on Google and this one time my nails started peeling on Monday night. I think it must've been a defective polish so I thought at first that they were going to be manageable, but then both hands started peeling so I called today as I am leaving out of town tomorrow And ask if they could fix them they had me come into the shop. They wanted me to use the same nail polish that's peeling off my fingers I said absolutely not. I think it's defective. There wasn't another bottle. I asked for a natural nail and they would not give it to me without charging me, I provide customer service all the time I'm a nurse and I cannot believe after being loyal to them for a year when there is 100 other nail salons in the area that they would not fix their mistake I know they could probably care less but I am just hoping that people read this and realize thatthey have horrible customer service and try another salon somewhere else. read more

Worst service i've had on my toes ever, charged my mom and I 45 dollars each for a pedicure, which would be fine if they hadn't screwed up both me , and my moms toes. I got gel polish and it is all over my cuticles, by far the sloppiest job i have ever had done on me. the gel was bubbly and uneven and is already peeling off and I just left. When we stated we were completely unsatisfied they said they would have fixed it but my mother had already told them she wasn't pleased and so they simply slopped more gel on top. This has been the worse experience EVER.! First off I messed up by going to them for a fill but they were open on Sunday. So sadly I had to make due. The guy(Jason) who did my nails was nice but I got charged $50 for a BASIC gel polish fill.!!!! $50 smh. Well well well the next day the nail they "fixed" broke completely off... they fixed it for free... okay nice. Well two days later ALL MY NAILS STARTED LIFTING.! Went in to see what they'd do to make it right... the OWNERS HUSBAND said he'd charge me $35 to fix my nails.!!!! That would be $85 within 6 days for my nails.! I always go to Nail Center to get my nails done and they NEVER EVER lift or break. I get a fill with them once a month because that's how great they were but due to unfortunate situations I was only able to get them done on that Sunday. This salon looks like it's nice s but they are completely over priced and the quality is god awful. I'm so heart broken that they wouldn't make this right when it is 100% their nail techs fault my nails are already falling off.!!!! Mind you i have NEVER had this issue with getting my nails done. I take pride in my nails and this is just sad and for them to try and take advantage of me by charging me to fix what they did wrong is 100% wrong.!! Sadly you have to leave a star Update 9/25/21 8:30pm My nail came off and there is fungus under my nail. I could honestly cry right now.!! Now I have to remove all of them so I can treat my nails.! Don't go to this place! I had the worst experience, of my life at a nail salon last week. I'd be going to the salon since the first week they opened. The owners name is Kelley, she's fair and very good at her job! However, Kelley was out of town and another woman... I'm not sure if her name was working in her place. She charged me almost double for the services I usually have, and then when I tried to push back about about the price gouging, she started making fun of me and Vietnamese to the other coworkers causing me to cry. She left me sitting on the pedicure seat bawling my eyes out didn't even offer me a napkin or tissue and then proceeded to force me to pay cash for the services because it was after 7 PM, her intent was to kick me out and not allow me to finish my services because she didn't think I'd have much money in my purse in Cash. I strongly recommend you do not go to this nail salon. They treated me like I was a piece of crap even though I've spent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars there and this several years that they've been open. read more

Absolutely terrible service. Came at 12:30 and just needed a basic manicure! Been to many nail salons and I know how long it should take even if their "behind" based on the amount of staff available and service needed. I got seated and waited almost 2 freaking hours. I saw two customers come and go who came after me. And the guy who started on me left me to work on two other girls who seemed to get a more expensive service. I felt ditched. Unappreciated. And judged. Made me CRY out the door.. I was the only brown woman in the salon at the moment and it seemed like they wanted to work on all the rich looking white women first. And no one seemed to want anything to do with me. Little did they know I had a 50$ tip waiting for the one who wanted to help me!!! I am PISSED. I went to the salon for the first time this afternoon and I had a pretty bad experience. I can say the salon is spotless and tastefully decorated but that is where my good experience stopped. The check in process was complicated and even the employees didn't know how it worked. My artist did not once ask for my opinion about how the process was going and I am not in love with the color which is something that is also my fault. I LOVE the job that Kelly does. However, with the rise in COVID cases, I stopped going because they not only don't require masks, they don't even recommend that people wear masks. Each time I've gone, there were about a dozen customers and only one or two wore masks. Even the receptionist was not wearing a mask. Although she is behind a plexiglass shield, she interacted with waiting customers outside the shield without a mask. Most of those not wearing masks were under 50, which puts them in the asymptomatic transmitter class. I find it irresponsible for ANY business in Myrtle Beach to not require masks.
