I've waited a few days before posing this review because I do not enjoy giving negative reviews. The spa was very clean and the young man at the front was very nice. But my pedi/mani experience was not good and I'd not return. First the gentleman that did my nails was rushed and aggressively rough throughout the entire experience. During my pedicure he pushed my cuticles back with that tool aggressively and painfully. Then the scrubbing pad was roughly used on the arch of my foot, the soft tender area - it's still scratched and burns 3 days later. The gell mani did not get better, again the cuticles jammed, the dremel tool used repeatedly on my nails often touching the skin. My nails have been sensitive since and around the nail on my fingers had been red and burning from the dremel. I always get French, like bigger white tips - he only did one coat of white so it's thin and uneven. After I had polish all over the sides so my skin was stuck to the nails. Because of the excessive grinding my nails now hav have broken edges. It was far from relaxing, my nails are now thin and sensitive. I was surprised at how little attention he paid to my arthritis, several of my fingers have swollen knuckles and are sensitive - he was overall just very rough and not appreciated. read more

I made an appointment online for a pedi and the booking process was easy online. My appointment time was honored and I chose the type of pedi service I wanted. I was asked multiple times if I wanted to choose another type of service and it was difficult to communicate my response which was no. The pedi was fine but for the standard cost of $35.00 I am usually given more time for a foot and leg massage which is the main purpose for a pedi in my opinion. While my feet look good, the pedicure was far from ideal! I had made an appointment, but felt rushed from the moment I walked in. The gentleman who met me at the door would not allow me to pick a polish! He insisted that I immediately go back to the chair, and when seated asked me what color I wanted. I chose the $50 pedicure with a hot stone massage. The entire process was less than 35 minutes, very rushed and aggressive, not a relaxing experience at all. My nail tech was in such a hurry that she cut my cuticle off, Leaving me to bleed through the entire process, which was all of a 20 min mani and a sore finger for days to follow. One of my friends (and I) may have fallen asleep at some point during the foot massages! My nail tech cleaned up the remains of an ingrown toenail, very gently. Went as a walk in. I was treated like regular customer. I needed to have a UV liquid gel manicure and a pedicure. They took me right away and did a great job. The salon is extremely clean and bright. The chairs almost new. Their selection of polish is vast as well as their services offered. I would not hesitate to return next time I visit 11/19/18. Went back today for a UV gel ( French) fill in and a pedicure. It was just as good as my last review. The place is still very clean and bright. Lynn does a great job with my manicure. I have been a customer of Nails and Spa for nearly 2 years and after today I will NEVER return. My regular technician was not there and so the manager gave me to her unlicensed teenage daughter. I don't think the girl was a day over 14. I got the worst manicure ever. This poor child didn't know what she was doing -- her mom was coaching her every step of the way. My usual 45 minute manicure took over 2 hours. I am considering filing a formal complaint with the NC licensing board. read more

I got the Orange peel deluxe spa pedicure and it was wonderful! I don't know how the regular pedicure is, but I got the whole treatment for my feet! After that I wanted a manicure as well. I would have got a set of nails, but felt like the manicure was wonderful. My nails are short, but they needed TLC and that is what I got!
