She knew her stuff and explained everything. She was so nice on phone when I made reservation and she told me to prefill out some of the required forms to bring in. Her machine for facials was really cool and the jowels massage to my jaw was something I had not had in a facial. She was very good and is well known at barefoot I discovered. If you like facials I'd choose her. She's just a one person place but better than more corporate chain places I've been to

Make sure you thoroughly read their cancellation policy. Horrible customer service. As a new…read morecustomer and new resident in the Myrtle Beach area I was trying to find someone to fill in my existing lashes before my birthday on Monday. I called and spoke with Rae who told me she is the only one at the salon and that she would work with me to do my fill. She told me to book for an hour and a half fill because she wanted time to "talk" about what to do with my lashes but she would only charge me for an hour fill. I was already worried about that because of the pricing difference but I booked it as directed. Then I had visitors who were staying with me that ended up having to leave later on Saturday than originally planned so I tried to cancel my appointment via Facebook when we found out Friday evening for an appointment Saturday at 10. I understand that I cancelled within 24 hours and that you should charge a fee of maybe $25-$30 for the inconvenience but to charge me $100 dollars is RIDICULOUS! I mean at least allow people to use it towards rescheduling an appointment!!! So if I did even want to reschedule I would've had to pay $200 to get a FILL! Also on the phone she basically told me I wasted her time because now she would have a gap in her schedule and wouldn't be able to fill it. I told her I'm sure she could probably contact her clients and they would be willing to come in early or to contact someone who was looking to get an appointment today. She scoffed at me. I ended up hanging up on her because I was just so frustrated. Honestly don't expect good customer service here, she is completely unwilling to work with customers and just keeps telling you that's the company policy. I've worked in customer service for years and can tell you that to just blow off a customer or potential customer with "company policy" when it's already a small business is not the way to build up your reputation.

No follow up on her part, to which I would expect from a business owner. Requested classic set, was given hybrid. Being that I now go to another lash place, to compare services, I'm always given a fresh mat to lay my head on, and the new tech always uses rubbing alcohol on hands prior to touching my face/eyes, Ms Lydia did neither. Others seem happy with her service, sadly I don't recommend.
