She can not do designs at all, she straight up told me "no" to a very simple design. Instead she gave me something i did not want at all. Nails turned yellow and fell off quick. quality is very good. Very nice vibe. The service that was requested was acrylic with gel nail polish. VERY HAPPY AND VERY PLEASED WITH SERVICE. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I walked in at about 6:15 pm on friday February 7th with no appointment and did not realized they close at 7pm. They were still willing to do my nails and even also offered to do a pedicure. My daughter received a gift certificate for Mother's Day and decided to get a pedicure. Well come to find out she caught a bacterial infection that spread to 4 toes. She went to a foot doctor and was told that this was because the instruments they used were not sanitized and were not cleaned properly. They also cut her cuticles out to where the bacteria got into her foot. Along with the fact that they cut an ingrown nail halfway and did not remove it. The foot doctor explained that it was very bad and they had to cut her toes and drain the infection out. Only putting this up so it doesn't happen to someone else. read more

I just got my nails done by the nicest woman ever who just so happens to be the owner. I came in with my nails destroyed from my previous gel tips and she suggested the new dip powder. I will never go back to gel which burns my fingers or the harmful chemicals from acrylic ! She dipped my own nails in the powder ; no tip therefore my real nail can start fresh and grow healthier than ever. So thankful i tried this nail salon. Can't wait to go back ! I love leaving good reviews, but I have to be honest. The good: prices reasonable $25 gel mani, $35 powder dip, very pretty inside, friendly staff, good job with shaping nails The bad: First off, I had asked specifically if they do acetone soak off to remove gels, and he said yes over the phone. In person, he only used the electric grinder to remove my previous gel mani. Then he used the highest grit grinder and for some reason decided to use those on my cuticles. 3 of my cuticles were bleeding during the process. The most unhygenic part is that nothing was done to stop the bleeding or wipe away the blood (other than with a nail file- what!?). He continued to use community shared tools such as the nail polish brushes (that will be used on someone else later) that are now stained with my blood. This is how blood borne pathogens and infections are spread. Now my cuticles are torn and literally still in pain six hours later. He also used a nail file to go back on my already torn cuticles to file them down some more. I have never been in so much pain during a manicure. I still paid and left a tip without a fuss but I did tell the gentleman I won't be doing the powder dip mani again. read more

If you don't know how to do a gel manicure, you probably should just shut your doors. I should have known better when the first comment was why don't you want dip powder? Because when gel is done properly I prefer it. I arrived 4 minutes late for my appointment and then had to wait about 20 mins before someone took me who didn't even know what I was there for. She half ass took off my gel, a lot of bumpy pieces remained. She didn't file my nails at all! Just one quick swoop around the skin! Then she cut my cuticles and I bled in 3 places. No sanitizer was used or anything! So disgusting! She told me I had dry skin. No. You don't know how to use a cuticle cutter. So she puts 1 coat of base (never used the bonder! usually its bonder, then 2 coats base) then 2 coats color (I asked for a 3rd which they should have just done because it was so light=cheap polish), then 2 coats top coat (I got one). I could tell already that this manicure will last 3 days...it was already peeling when I left. I had to refile my nails and my cuticles are so horrible and I have a party this weekend. Thanks a lot. Someone saw my frustration and offered to fix which was nice but after 1.5 hours no thank you. I made a new appointment with my regular salon-which by the way ill travel an hour to go to! My nails look like a 5 year old did them!!!! read more

My husband and I flew to New Jersey from Los Angeles for our friend's New Year's Eve wedding. We had to stop at Tuxedo Junction for him to pick up his tux so I went next door to K Nails & Spa to get my nails done with dipping powder and they are still in perfect condition, a whole 20 days later! Not only do they still look great (despite the obvious growing out) the price was reasonable and they were done so quick. In my opinion, there is nothing worse then sitting at a nail salon forever and then not even liking your nails.) They were so kind, quick & did a great job. Would not go back even if it was free. Such a terrible first and last experience. It took an hour and a half for a gel fill. Kept getting knicked by tech with Dremel. It felt like I had hangnails for over a week. She made my nail beds smaller, & cut me to do it. It ended up making my fingers looks huge and with tiny little nails. Not a reliable place for nail appointments. My mom and I booked two pedicures and as we walked in we got sat, great. As the girl who is doing my nails is doing a great job, they didn't have enough staff for the appointment so my mom is waiting 30 minutes for someone to take care of her. While I'm being helped the entire time with no breaks, my mom finally gets helped but is finished 5 minutes after me after the girl quickly and roughly massaged her and was on her phone half of the time. Normally not one to make reviews or complain, but definitely not happy with the woman who took care of my mother. The two stars are strictly for the girl that did a great job on me. read more

Terrible customer service. My mom and I went for a fill. My mom was in two weeks ago & they put tips on with dip powder. She broke off her pinky nail and asked for a new tip to be put on. They told her they do not do tip with dip nail polish: then why would they do that in the first place. I needed a fill. My nails are almond shaped and most of them are uneven from them shaving them down. I had to ask them to put on another coat of paint since I could still see the lines from when they grind your nail down. Maybe if they spent more time instead of rushing, the quality would be better. After going to another location for powder gel, my nails started to become damaged and I found they weren't lasting mostly due to the employees changing how they did the dip (cut corners). Came here on a recommendation and Henry did my nails and Jennifer did my pedicure. Both were friendly, engaging, professional and meticulous! The location is immaculate! Absolutely love this place. Having recently moved to the area I was looking for a new nail salon and sort of stumbled on K Nails when they had just opened- been hooked since. Jen always does such a nice job, in this photo she actually mixed 2 colors together to create a new shade I wanted. Just really professional, clean & friendly. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever been to. I was there last night and half way through my nails the owner told me my nail girl was tired and had to eat. I protested and she left me with half my gel fill and went to the back for 20 minutes to eat. I asked where she went and he said she was tired. Horrible experience and I am not one to leave bad reviews but this might have been my worst nail experience ever. I was referred here by a coworker but I found out the owners who were excellent just left. I paid 80+ for a gel pedicure and dip manicure. For the pedicure my toes are horribly filed and all rounded and uneven. The gel pedicure has also begun chipping after 2 days. For the manicure when the tech filed my nails she was so rough Two of my nail beds started bleeding and she attempted to stop the bleeding my putting glue on the cut. Blood got all over the glue and she didn't throw it out! I am so disappointed to say the least. Beware going under new ownership. read more

If I schedule an appointment, I try to get an idea of a nail design I like, and they try to match it as close as possible, they also add their touch to it and it looks better. I have never felt so rushed during a pedicure. I barely had my feet in the water and they grabbed the first one out and started working on it. i really just wasn't relaxed at all. Then I went for a manicure after and a really young little girl was sitting next to me getting a manicure. She really seemed patient and made no fuss, which I think is a good accomplishment considering her young age and how fidgety kids can get during something that requires sitting for a certain length of time. i guess the kid fidgeted or something because the tech snapped at her to 'sit still" which I just don't agree with shaming a small child EVER. or really anyone! And especially because she probably made a normal movement or something and wasn't causing the tech any trouble. I'll definitely not be back read more

I was there Sunday December 1st,with my daughter and mother and the man working there who is the manager was very unprofessional and is very ignorant to his customers and understands very little English.he asked my daughter I question and left her there without doing her nails and left the nail salon to go get lunch and when he returned he refused to do my daughters nails making my daughter cry.one of his staff even argued with him but he didn't do her nails only her feet.for no apparent reason.
