We've…read morecome to love having shade available at the push of a button and decided that adding a second long solar-powered screen at the "L" of our patio would cut down even more heat and glare both indoors and out (in tandem forming a 14' x 12' shady corner). JD Martinson came to measure and check materials, and within a few weeks, the new exact-match product was ready to roll. The two installers did an expert job of drilling the guyline into our porcelain tile and helping us decide exact placements. The materials on our first sunshade have held up beautifully, so there's no fading/color variation on the fabric or the metal housing, and both screens look brand-new and precisely matched. The installers made it a seamless process, cleaning up debris with care and taking the time to do the job right. Since we know what a game-changer these sunscreens are, we're even more excited to put them to work as a set. Outstanding, start to finish -- and such an easy way to have it made in the shade this summer and for years to come! *** FANTASTIC service and product! SW Sun Control installed a 12-ft auto-retractable shade with a fitted cover on the side edge of our patio, and the process was perfect start to finish. JD gave us a quick, accurate bid, with no hidden charges, and he did an excellent job of helping us select fabric/housing colors (which complement our stucco even better than we expected from viewing the swatches). The crew came on schedule, and installation was seamless. We waited several months to write this review, to see how the unit would perform over time, and we're happy to report that it's all working beautifully -- the solar-powered motor functions exactly as designed, the remote is strong enough to use indoors or out (even wall-mounted vertically inside the house), and the shade rolls up incredibly smoothly, with no telescoping or other issues. We absolutely love the product, and it's installed in a location that gives us shade not only on our patio but also at our indoor dining table, which is an excellent bonus. The fabric is great too, allowing the right amount of light and air flow. So happy we chose SW Sun Control, and we highly recommend the whole team!

I am pretty particular about my experiences with contractors and I will state unequivocally that if…read moreI could give 6 stars if I would! First off, the service was excellent! Kase and his crew are polite, professional, timely and very customer-oriented. Kase initially helped us design the fence and then we thoroughly enjoyed having his crew at our house for the installation. Family affair with great people and easy to have around. Ashleigh in the office kept us appraised of progress and was very accomodating when we had delays on our end due to other contractors. They just rolled with it. Secondly, the finished product is absolutely stunning, with obvious pride of workmanship! It's kind of hard to get excited about a pool fence, but let me say that rather than an "industrial" looking standard type of black and straight fence, they custom made a rusted, architecturally sensitive fence that blends in with the elements of the yard beautifully. It looks like art in my backyard! Lastly, pricing was very reasonable, and more than competetive with other bids I received. Retrospectively, I think this was money very well spent and was so much more than even anticipated. I highly recommend this fabricator and would consider using them again. Called Joe on Friday, scheduled me for a 40"X40"X4" slab the following Monday. Immediate responses on text, reasonably priced and was exactly on time at 6:30am. I increased the scope on site to cut out some old cement and remove a steel 4" pole cemented into the house foundation - had all the equipment with him to execute and upcharge was nominal and more than reasonable. I saw on Yelp that they were reading/reviewing the request when I sent it, multiple days before. Did they respond? No. I followed up with some irritation that despite being recommended, they are doing nothing. What irks me is that they say they will respond 100% of the time - which clearly isn't the case. Why would anyone want to do business with them, when they have zero desire to return any message at all? Normally I avoid these types of postings - with just complaining without seeing results - but folks need to be aware of this supposedly "service."
