    Assorted macarons

Every single thing I've tried from this bakery is amazing... the cinnasant is unreal!!!! Other favorites: the chocolate pretzel toffee cookie, the cake pops, croissants, and of course the macarons. Not only is everything tasty; but the owner and her staff are always so sweet and genuine. You can tell so much love goes into everything they do. I recommend this bakery to everyone!

I asked for a Peter Rabbit cake, and K.K. Sweets gave me a picturesque perfection. It was the cake I had exactly envisioned, and it tasted heavenly. I would with zero hesitation trust them for a future event.

I have ordered MULTIPLE cakes from this bakery and the same comment I get every time is "this is the best cake I've ever had, where did you get it!" Over the past 2 years I've ordered 5/6? Cakes, each different styles/flavors and everytime amazing. Also, we go in regularly for desserts or breakfast pastries! This is the best bakery around, literally the only macaroons I'll eat now

My first attempt at trying this new bakery was a failure. It was the Saturday before moms day and I expected the choices to be limited when I arrived about 1.5 hours before closing. But instead I found a sign on the front door stating that they closed due to selling out. Well that just made me want to try it more. A few days later I returned midweek around noon and was happy to find several choices. The huge cookies were tempting, esp the dark chocolate one, but since it contained white chocolate chips it was quickly rejected. But the flourless chocolate cake would go in the box, as did a canele and a lemon meringue tart. There were a few other item that looked very good but I didn't want to be a glutton. I ate the canele in my car, candied crispy outside and a light custardish center. Nice. Much later I tried the other 2 items. The lemon tart was very good, similar to a shortbread crust with perfect meringue top. I'd love a full sized version. The chocolate cake was my fav of the 3. Great texture and even better dark deep choc flavor. This can satisfy a very strong chocolate craving. Service seemed very friendly. One employee was chatting with the one other customer while I was drooling over the contents of the cases. The chef/owner stepped out of kitchen and took my order. I can see coming back here for a special occasion cake or tart, or even for a few small pastries to treat myself or friends and family. Great addition to the area, 4 stars and counting

    K. K. Sweets is hands down the GREATEST place in town for sweets! This is the only place we go for holidays, birthdays, and any event going on that we need something. The staff are all knowledgeable, kind and make it feel easy when ordering specialized things or what's in the cases. The incredible ability Kelsey has to take an idea that you have in your head and make it blows everyone away. The hardest part about walking in the store is stopping yourself from buying one of everything. K.K. Sweets always has a promotion going on and consistently has a treat that coincides with the upcoming holiday. Wether you try a slice of cake or a single macarons I guarantee you'll be back for more!

K.K. Sweets is a new bakery that just opened earlier this fall, selling macarons, cakes, and French style baked goods. They're really active on Instagram @kksweetshamilton and on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/KK-Sweets-114744810227436/ They post about specials and flavors there, and they add new items all the time. I was really happy to see that they have several types of classic French pastries that are hard to find in the area. The owner used to be the pastry chef at Kristine's in Princeton, and I've tried her tarts there before. I was excited to see that they have canelés ($2 each): the only other place I've seen them locally is at Lost Bread Co. My favorite item I've tried so far is the apple financier ($3.25), which was really fragrant with a very moist, almost custardy texture inside. Service is super friendly and helpful :) I definitely recommend paying them a visit, and I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more of their baked goods!

Fresh, amazing, delicious. Perfect balance of flavors in every tasty bite. Our friends brought some amazing treats to Virginia, and I wish we lived closerj so we could go daily. My husband is a self described chocolate chip cookie connoisseur, and he said these are hands down the best he has ever had. Crumb cake was so moist and delicious. Macarons - I was never a fan before and I am a convert now. You can tell Kelsey puts so much love and attention into her work and uses only the best ingredients. We love you K.K. Sweets!

This is one of the best local bakeries. The baked goods are delcious!!! They are also well decorated. They are truly talented. I cant say it enough. I have tried most of their offerings. The crumb cakes, macaroons, flourless cake are just a few of my favorite

I ordered a custom birthday cake for 25-30 people for a birthday party. I chose a vanilla cake with buttercream and raspberry filling. They did an amazing job. The cake was soooo good! Everyone said how delicious it was. And it was very well decorated. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back!!

That said, I don't believe in writing a place off after a single average experience, so I decided to give it a second chance. This time, I ordered two different viral crunches along with a croissant. Unfortunately, the results were disappointing across the board. The Mixed Berry Crunchy was cute in presentation, but that was its only redeeming quality. There was no bold--or even subtle--mixed berry flavor. At $10, it felt wildly overpriced and not worth the calories. Next was the Lemon Crunchy, which is supposed to feature a lemon blueberry flavor. As someone who loves lemon, I had high expectations, but once again it was bland and forgettable. Since this is a bakery, I also tried a fresh croissant and asked for it to be warmed. The staff accommodated the request, and it smelled incredible. It was warm, light, and flaky--but sadly, the flavor fell flat. A light brushing of butter on top would have gone a long way. For me, this is strike two. Unfortunately, Lilla Vanilla just isn't worth the money or the calories. Based on my experience--mediocre service on the first visit, bland and overpriced featured items on the second, and only neutral-to-slightly-positive notes on the croissant--I'd rate it 2 out of 5 . I seriously contemplated giving them 1 star but to be fair, the viral crunchy presentation was appealing and the croissant did have good texture (even if the flavor missed).

Many wonderful pies, cakes, cookies, and of course, their famous donuts. I particularly enjoyed their long donuts - perfectly fried, fluffy, filled with vanilla cream, which was smooth and just the amount of perfect sweetness. They do lots of custom orders, and do a lot to support the local schools. I recall seeing nice music themed cookies for sale which were in support of the middle school music program I believe. Very nice. We were lucky enough to meet the owner; she was enthusiastic, helpful and the perfect person to continue the joy of this bakery. Lots of parking side and back. While the interiors are modest, they make great use of the little space they have with a bakery counter and tables with a selection of seasonal/holiday treats. They had a decent variety of Easter themed cupcakes, chocolates, and cookies when I stopped in. Since it was my first time there, I asked the staff member what she recommended, and she beamed at me grabbing me a long cream-filled donut. I also got a piece of vanilla crumb cake since that jumped out at me. Both were a solid 4/5, with the cream-filled donut getting a slight edge in the taste department. The vanilla crumb cake was a huge slice, ideal for sharing or splitting up into multiple pieces. Service was friendly and prices on par with other area bakeries, with both items running just under $6 total. While I probably wouldn't venture out of my way to visit again, I would happily return if I was passing through the area in need of baked goods or treats, as I'm happy to support local businesses like these.
