Its kinda ok just the owner is a hard head he wouldn't let up take out closed cotton candy to put up since we didnt want to waste it and the stalls dont have doors so make sure only one at a time goes it does suck that they make you pay if you have gum though. But the games are fun just do not do the trio one with some of the boys they will fling you around haha. read more

Came here for a birthday party for a friends kid. First off the bathrooms have absolutely no privacy as in when someone walks in they can see all the toilets, made for a very uncomfortable visit and weird vibes for sure. Second they only accept cash so seeing as we had never been here before we couldn't buy anything. Then the constant interrupting of the skating was annoying. There was no learning helpers for someone who wanted to learn, instead they had to go all the way to the back to go back and forth along a wall. I wont ever recommend this place or return. read more

DO NOT RECOMMEND Very rude and disrespectful staff/owner! Instigating situations and have no intent on resolving issues that people address with them (in calm but stern manners). Just insults and cussing to escalate any situation that challenges their bias We walked in and my daughter was wearing shorts that showed her leg tattoo and when the girl at front saw it, she just stared straight at her leg the entire time we were at her window and then acted very odd and nervous & anxiously said she'd be right back. Well, she went and got the owner who did the same exact thing and just stared at my daughter's tattoo and then asked her to raise her shirt so that he could see her shorts that were covered by her oversized shirt except for the 1-2 inches of the bottom of the shorts you could see. Had my daughter been a minor it would've been a different story because what reason does a grown man need a teenager to raise her shirt above her crotch? What you see when they walk in is what you'll see when they're skating. But he saw her tiny dime size rips that were up by the pocket, not visible and completely covered by her oversized shirt, he said that's just not gonna work. Mind you that I at this time was also wearing shorts and an oversized shirt but was never asked to raise my shirt to show my shorts and I also have a leg tattoo that shows. The girl at the front and the owner were very petty in these regards. If you're gonna ask one person in the party that's attending then you should ask all attendees. And on their signs of things not allowed it doesn't say anything about tattoos, but by the stares my daughter was getting on hers you wouldn't be able to tell they didn't have a problem with tattoos. (For those curious, it's a water color tattoo of a seraphim angel and that's it). Their eyes were locked onto her leg the entire time until I challenged his bias on what he was saying. He clearly just didn't want us there. I must mention that I've been there plenty of times and have never once been asked to raise my shirt to show the crotch area of my pants or the 3-4 inches below where the shirt was covering and neither have my younger kids. And when I confronted both him and the employee I was yelled and cussed at while I had a civil voice but after that happened my calm and civil tone was raised to match the owner and to let him know that I won't be insulted or pushed around because he had no reason for his unprofessional actions. But while my voice was raised to match his level I still maintained my integrity by not saying one foul word and just pointing out his bias. Then he tried to pull trespassing on me just to get me to leave. Like really??? You're not going to try and resolve a situation? You're going to make it escalate by cussing and yelling at people, forcing them to defend themselves and their kids? Pathetic and very unprofessional! Also, their bathroom stalls have no doors or even curtains for privacy. So unless you're in the very back stall whoever comes in will see everything. Gives off sketchy pedo vibes. Who needs to have no sort of covering on their stalls? Especially when it's mainly minors that attend. We have better options on where to spend our money and this place is no longer on that list of options. Very unsettling that people like this actually own businesses. read more

This place was not fun. We showed up in a big group and they interrogated us on who drove, did yall all ride together etc... We had never been to a roller rink that is so strict. It was our first time so we didn't know there was strict rules at a fun place. But it was not fun at all and the security guard and workers were acting weird towards us. Also didn't know people who work in kid friendly places, aren't so friendly. Do not bring your kids here. There is no stalls on the bathroom and ONE sink outside of the restrooms. I wish there were zero stars. Guy is a complete jerk! I would not leave my kids here without a parent at all whatsoever! I had slight burn out on my jeans with NO skin showing so the girl at the front said "he might not let you in" so I pulled down my t shirt where they didn't even show and he came out yelling and acting a complete fool about it. (To an adult at that... can't imagine how he would be with a child.) So I left then he proceeded to yell at my kids for helping each other because my youngest was struggling. Overall I love the place and I typically go to this place to meet up with friends or just to skate but td when I went because I was trying to meet up with a large group of people and I up to the door thinking it was open because the lights are on and I thought the doors were closed just because it's cold and side and that would typically make sense but no I go up to open the door then read a sign that says it's closed now I wouldn't care if I had just forgot to look and see if they where open but no I go to their website and it says open AND it says it's open on this app but what doesn't make sense is that they are open on new years but they aren't the day before Christmas Eve now I understand that it could be a miscommunication through the owners or whoever runs the website but I wasted gas time and potentially money going there for nothing read more

CASH ONLY You know when your kids ask for something special for their birthday you try to do it....... This place always seems to disappoint & ruin my kids special days. My husband is unemployed & my daughter wanted to come skate. My teen didn't want to skate but they still changed us for him. My husband & I didn't have to pay.....the place is outdated, music stinks, always interrupting the the regular skating for games & stuff. But the kids can't skate while it's going on. And when you buy water you can't have it out of the party area. So my husband stood by 6 full sized bottles is water so they wouldn't get thrown out. They never took them in the rink. First things first, I must say that I have had nothing but good experiences here at KC's Nutty Roller. The place, despite its age, is very clean and well kept, and the rink is very smooth and well taken care of. I see that there are a lot of reviews on here speaking bad about the owner. I feel obliged to clear some things up. These people who are saying bad things about him are so entitled. Keith (the owner) has rules posted on the door, and they've been in place for years. Naturally, a business has the right to enforce their own policies and deny service to anyone who breaks these rules. If you have any intelligence and foresight at all, you can understand why these rules are there. For instance, I have heard/seen a lot of people complain about the fact that they do not just let any skates in on the rink. Well, you have to understand there are differences between indoor and outdoor wheels, and allowing skates with outdoor wheels on the rink can greatly damage the surface and cause injury. Also, roller blades with the brake attached to the back are not permitted because they can scuff the surface of the rink. I have seen with my own eyes people try to bring in roller blades that are flat out missing wheels, and I'm thankful the owner does not permit these people to skate there. That would be endangerment! As for people complaining about the dress code, there are signs on the doors when you come in informing people about the dress code, so I don't know why you'd be in such a huff about something which has been spelled out for you, right before your eyes. Just pay attention! The dress code is there for a reason, and it's a reason I'm grateful for; with the way some people dress these days, I'm glad KC's creates a family friendly environment, especially since there are lots of kids who go there. I mean, these people were in the paper for not letting some kid in a wheelchair onto the rink. Talk about some entitled parents trying to stir up trouble for some honest people! A wheelchair on the rink is not only a hazard for the person sitting in it, but it's also a hazard for other skaters on the rink. Think straight, people! Does having a wheelchair on a roller rink sound like a good idea? I could rant on and on about the kinds of stunts these entitled people try to pull on these folks, but I'll leave my review with this: KC's is a great place, and you shouldn't listen to these poor reviews. Keith (the owner) is a great guy, and if you follow the rules and are respectful (like a decent human being), you will get along perfectly fine! Just don't cause trouble, people. Went tonight for the 1st time. No doors on the women's bathroom stalls so you get to pee in front of complete strangers. Employee was literally yelling at little kids that brought water out ot the snack area. They stopped the music so many times for games that only a select few could play so we all sat around and had to watch. The music sucked. This place is cash only and theres no signs in the whole building, nor on their website. There are over 100 dress code signs. Poor parking lot. Skate rental guy was creepy and morose. I with some oil tycoon would build us an awesome rink and put this crap hole out of business. My kid loved skating and I want to take her again, but I wish this wasnt my only option. Been there twice. Looks exactly like skating rinks did back in the '70s / '80s, that was probably the last time it was updated. You walk in the place smells like feet and the carpet is nasty. Skates are not in good shape, they are not adjusted or maintained. The skates they handed me the shoestring was frayed and broke as soon as I put them on. So, I get a second skate and it pulls to the right and the other won't turn correctly. I go back for a new pair. They hand me my previous skate with the broken lace. Each interaction they just put the skates with issues back on the shelf. Ended up just turned in my skates. From the front door to the rental and all aspects of the staff, they were not welcoming at all. I really did want to enjoy my experience I guess it was not meant to be. read more

My sister loves coming here to hangout with friends, but it's not very enjoyable when every employee yells at them. I understand trying to keep kids in check for safety reasons, but yelling at them because they "hurt your ears." Is hardly a good reason. Every employee has a terrible attitude, if the kids annoy you, why work at such an establishment? read more

Attended a birthday party for one of my daughters friends... my son couldn't get the hang of skating so I figured I would exchange his skates for skates for myself to go and take care of my daughter on the rink... at first they exchanged the skates but the owner told me that I would have to pay to skate... and of course i offered to pay but this establishment doesn't take debit (dodging taxes I'm sure) and owner could have let it slide, but was extremely rude about it and I cordially returned my skates and got my shoes back... no way to run a business and make a patron feel uneasy for 10 measly dollars... will not be back and will definitely pass along my bad experience... read more

It is an ok skating rink, but the concrete floor is not good and there are rocks on the floor where u can hurt yourself. The rocks come from the front entrance ramp that is all broken up in some areas. They check the skates for rocks and prior damage so it won't damage the floor, but what they need to do is fix the entry ramp before someone gets hurt on the skating floor. Not a bad skating rink, except for what I previously mentioned. Oh, didn't like the fact that I had to leave my shoes with them in order to rent skates which meant that I would have to step on the filthy carpet. Even with socks on, my first thought is foot fungus or something like that. read more

We went to our niece's birthday party on Sunday, October 15, at KC's nutty roller. There was a young man working who was so friendly and efficient getting all of the kids skates. We had some young kids in our party whom had never skated before. They wanted their shoes back and then a little while later they wanted their skates back... This young man was just continually polite and helpful. read more

I will never come here again. My family and I are new to the community. We wanted a fun outing. First, we came on a Monday at 5:45. When we tried to pay, the girl said that the session was almost over and we could skate for 15 mins if we wanted to. Ummm...yeah...I'd love to skate for 15 minutes...NOT! So we left and came back another Monday at the 7-10 session. When we tried to pay, the man immediately said that our 1 year old was not allowed in because her spaghetti strap shirt broke their dress code ...Ok...I guess they didn't want my 1 year old to show of her non exisistant cleavage. So we left to get another shirt from home and went back. In the car I talked to an employee on the phone and she said that they would just have to decide what was appropriate when they saw it. She also said that we could not carry her with our skates on because it was a liability. So at that point I really didn't want to go back but my 8 year old was really excited about skating, so out of love for her, we went back. Then they told my husband he couldn't wear his baseball hat because it also broke their dress code. Then we went to get our skates and they told us we had to give them our shoes. I have never had to do this before. I had to walk on their sticky carpet to go put my socks and skates on. I thought that since there was a dress code surely this must be a nice place. I was wrong. There were girls wearing really short shorts, teenagers cussing, and then...there was some lady wearing a spaghetti strap shirt worth lots of cleavage who walked behind the counter talking to the employees with her dog. This is not a family friendly establishment. They could have been so much kinder when talking to us about all their excessive rules. Their customer service was very poor. Ugh! Not worth it at all. Go to a Rockhound game or really anywhere else. read more
