Best thing we have ever done!!…read more Not only is Allison so knowledgeable and passionate about teaching our babies the key survival skills to handle water interactions, she goes out of her way to make each session fun and enjoyable ~which if you've ever watched a lesson, is not always the case because it's all business in the pool~. We had both of our girls in her spring session and it was a joy to get to see them gain confidence in themselves and learn what to do in the water. The growth in the 6 week period is astounding. If not just for the fun activity to keep these crazy toddlers busy, I believe it also helped them gain their independence and helped us feel like we've prepared them to the best of our ability by signing up and attending lessons with Allison. ISR with Allison, in my opinion, is the only true type of swimming lesson worth your time and money in the area. We researched all other programs offered in the midland/Odessa area and they're not comparable to ISR with Allison.

"All of our sales are online, or we can sell you a rental at a discounted rate", was the response I received when I inquired, my buddy just stared at me. The young lady to the right where the .22lr ammo is kept, was very sweet and friendly, obviously younger, quite cute, she was a pleasure to deal with. The other lady, the extremely thin one with a pony-tail, she was the buzz-kill; not sure if it was the two of us, or if she speaks to everyone like they are completely stupid. My buddy and I took turns asking questions, and she would literally speak So far down her nose to us she nearly fell over forwards. Now I didn't feel the need to express the fact that I am college educated, prior service, and have hunted all of the "Western 11" states, and my buddy is a well adapted, educated, experienced shooter. Every time she would give an answer, it was condescending, and pushed the outer boundaries of being just plain rude. I am not paying someone to be rude to me, you want my money, provide good customer service. One thing for certain, We won't be back, Id rather drive out of town, or go pay higher rates elsewhere. (Don't even get me started on the fact that they had a guy on the range with a mid-powered rifle, rapid firing on a pistol range, sparks everywhere).

Interactions tend to feel a bit rushed and not very welcoming--usually just a quick "what's your tee time?" with little friendliness or conversation. I understand everyone has off days, but a more positive and inviting atmosphere would really elevate the overall experience. I still enjoy playing here and would recommend it for the course itself. With a slightly more welcoming approach up front, this place could easily be a top-tier experience all around.
