A hidden, in plain site, treasure!!!…read more COM Aquatics is without a doubt the best gym I have ever had the pleasure of going to! In fact, it's so amazing that I even became an instructor here after walking in and seeing everything. Everyone is super friendly, very well informed, energetic and happy to help! The gym itself includes several well maintained pools; a dive pool where our local athletes train, and compete. Shallow water Mabee pool has gym & swim for kids lessons, adult cardio classes and family swim. The FMH pool has lap swim lanes for athletes and members to swim. The aerobics pool is where the majority of the aerobics classes are held throughout each day, those include, deep water aerobics, HiiTide and independent exercise time slots. There is also the wellness pool where the water temp is kept a little higher than the other pools, in compliance with arthritis recommendations for water walking, physical therapy rehab, as well as arthritis, ai chi, poolates and functional fitness classes. There is also a large state of the art physical therapy department and full gym at this location. And finally the land classes are nothing short of incredible! Barre, let's dance, yoga and more. No lack of options, trainers, lifeguards or instructors at COM Aquatics. Everything you could need all in one place. The front office staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in giving the needed information to get you to the department or plan that fits your needs best.

I have been coming to this range for almost a year and have made close to 20 trips. The staff is…read morefriendly and very professional which is unfortunately not the norm with indoor ranges in my experience. The range is well maintained, clean, well lit and extremely well ventilated which is also not the norm. The range fee is a steal, especially if you want to shoot for more than an hour. The range fee is also 1 fee for the entire day and is not by the hour. You could shoot and then go have lunch, come back and if there is a lane available get right back on without having to pay for another lane. Ammunition and targets are also priced well for an indoor range. The shop is well stocked with items that most people are looking for. They have a really nice selection of gun cleaning materials and common tools needed for building an AR or changing sights on a pistol etc. they also have a lot of magazines, factory and aftermarket for just about anything. They even usually have some bleeder kits on hand which is awesome to see. I have not had the need to do any training but I do know they offer TX LTC and I believe they even do pistol classes but I'm not completely sure. This range is has been a good time every time I show up, and I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Okay, so a buddy and I finally made it by Family Armory today; not the greatest first impression,…read morebut everybody does have an off day now and again. The first thing that struck me as odd, is that they have no firearms in the glass cases for sale. "All of our sales are online, or we can sell you a rental at a discounted rate", was the response I received when I inquired, my buddy just stared at me. So, now let's get to why I finished the intro to this the way I did. The young lady to the right where the .22lr ammo is kept, was very sweet and friendly, obviously younger, quite cute, she was a pleasure to deal with. The other lady, the extremely thin one with a pony-tail, she was the buzz-kill; not sure if it was the two of us, or if she speaks to everyone like they are completely stupid. My buddy and I took turns asking questions, and she would literally speak So far down her nose to us she nearly fell over forwards. Now I didn't feel the need to express the fact that I am college educated, prior service, and have hunted all of the "Western 11" states, and my buddy is a well adapted, educated, experienced shooter. Every time she would give an answer, it was condescending, and pushed the outer boundaries of being just plain rude. I am not paying someone to be rude to me, you want my money, provide good customer service. One thing for certain, We won't be back, Id rather drive out of town, or go pay higher rates elsewhere. (Don't even get me started on the fact that they had a guy on the range with a mid-powered rifle, rapid firing on a pistol range, sparks everywhere).

Needs some maintenance too, paint peeling, things rusting in hot tub, men's showers much of the same. Worst: The billing. We moved out of state and canceled ASAP, but still got billed the next month. Normally places have a relocation cause, but they refused a refund when we called and actually said "you can still use the facilities until the end August." We've attended Crossroads for years, but the last few weeks have left us disheartened and…read moredisconnected. The final straw was Pastor Jeremiah telling the noon service to refinance homes, downsize, borrow money, or even sell classic cars to give more to the church. That kind of pressure is not only inappropriate,it's un-Christlike. The focus has shifted away from Christ and toward money, apps, and showmanship. Personal stories are used publicly for publicity instead of being handled privately and prayerfully. What once felt authentic now feels staged and performative. Sadly, my wife is considering returning to her Catholic roots, and I'll be looking for a different Christian church. This leadership is not just pushing people away,it's dividing families. We pray the pastor returns to true Godly instruction.
