He genuinely cares about his customers and goes out of his way to make sure everything is done properly, especially when you have a special request or need something by a certain time. First time I brought a fur jacket here that took only 4 weeks to clean with little communication. That was fun. Had my laundry bag (it was a Marshall's one) thrown away cause it's not a laundry bag according to her. Finally learned my lesson when I took my chef jackets here from work. Her husband creased them in a way that he thought looked nice? (PS they looked like shit) Also was missing a scarf (which later turned out to be in my husband bag.) For the first time I didn't scream at someone screaming at me. I talked to them about both of these issues in a calm manner and they screamed me out of the store cause I was wrong. A lot of other laundry places to go than this one.

I have heard horror stories of how people have had their jackets ruined because they went to a place that claimed to be able to clean it. I didn't want to go through the same experience since those jackets aren't cheap. I'm so glad I found this place! The prices were fair, the owner and his wife communicated promptly w/ me if there were any issues or delays in the promise time, and most importantly, all of the items I sent to get dry cleaned came back to me undamaged! Although the reviews r not a lot, i liked some of the reviews saying their expensive things like wedding gowns n tuxedos came out looking flawless! I had first given them laundry n they came back nicely folded. I love that the Paul(who seems to b there most of the time) is very nice, yet seems to b veey understanding when i need my clothes to b done the same day as an emergency (i was recommended NOT do to same day from a friend so nothing gets rushed which can increase the possibility of getting sth done wrong) & ive gotten their service for several times now n its been superb! Totally recommend it if u have clothes that u treasure! Worth every dollar! Update: my sister was going to spend $75 replacing my nephew's "master piece" that he has ripped, im talking about his Peg Perego high chair. Since i really am impressed w Fine touch's jobs so far, ive brought it in one day w my nephews fave cars patches& voila! They covered the ripped spots nicely! Unfortunately, I'm saying "so long" to Fei's…read more I decided a while back to walk the extra distance to this laundromat because of so many other lousy self-service laundromats on the UES. This one was always clean, attendents were nice, and it was no fuss. Be aware, however, that customer loyalty means very little in the finer points. For example: If you wash at home and want to dry what you've washed they won't allow you this courtesy at their facility. This seems to be a fetish for a number of laundromats on the UES, especially if they are small: it upsets the flow of laundry in, laundry out. I don't think the owner ever shows up there so this is not negotiable. Understandable maybe, given that they must also fit in their drop off service loads. What's harder to understand is the minimum card charge on dry cleaning, especially when you drop off one item, and they don't tell you there is a minimum. Yes, there is a little sharpie-drawn notice off to the side, but it would be nice if the attendent would mention this at the drop-off. Not the attendent's fault, as they work very hard all day long. But this is an owner policy and decision. And after they are compelled to overcharge, they STILL decide to charge an extra 30 cents for the charge. At least the humor is free. And so, as the owner of my clothes, I too, have changed my policy, and made the decision to find another laundromat.
