I chose this salon due to its 5 star ratings, but this is the worst experience I've had in a nail…read moresalon EVER! I didn't get the name of my technician, but I went in with acrylic on my nails and wanted them taken off and then get dip powder on my natural nails. This technician proceeds to take an artificial nail tip and rip off my acrylic nails (I've never seen this "technique" before) so while she's doing that it's ripping off my natural nails and causing me to bleed. She says "you wanted tips, right?" When I originally didn't, but at this point I have to because she's ripped off my natural nails. She puts the tips on and proceeds with the dip powder, when she finishes she buffs my nails and instead of just buffing the nail she is buffing over my skin, and is breaking down the skin around my nails causing me to bleed again. Her customer service skills need work, as well as her ability to be gentle with customers. She didn't apologize once, instead getting irritated with me that I was jerking my hands and saying ow. Overall my nails look decent, but it's still a one star rating due to the lack of caring from her and the other technicians around her who were well aware of my discomfort and frustration.

Twenty minutes later, she's getting her nails done and I'm still waiting. I stand up and tell her that they haven't started on me yet and she'll have to wait on me. (Hoping someone gets the hint.) Nope. A woman walks in without an appointment, sits down next to me, and they start doing her nails. Five minutes later my daughter is done, no one has acknowledged me, so I pay for her nails and leave. They don't even notice to say anything! I'm just speechless, absolutely ridiculous. Will not be back.

Sitting on Dixie Highway in a strip mall with a handful of other businesses we had to park in the back of the building, but it's just a short jaunt around the building to the front door. They were quick to respond to us upon entering and friendly. Several of the nail techs spoke English. We requested to have our pedicures side by side at the same tine and they accommodated us. Weboth had gel manicures and regular pedicures. Procedures appeared to be sanitary, techs wore masks and there was muaic playing. I had two seperate techs for fingers and toes. Girl who did my gel nails was good, efficient and through. I was pleased. The pedi tech wasn't as good or through and my toes are just OK using regular polish. My daughter had the same tech for both and was pleased with her results. For a cost of $148 for both of us it was a good experience. They were also down a couple of nail techs, so that made the wait a little longer. There wasn't a huge variety of nail colors, but if you're just looking for a pink/red/coral, you'll find something. The salon had the typical pedicure setup with massage chairs, and the foot tubs had plastic liners that were changed out for each client. My nail tech was very nice, not very talkative but that's fine with me. She did make sure I was comfortable the whole time. Everything seemed hygienic. The pedicure was nice, and included a scrub, lotion, and oil on my legs. I was worried I was going to be charged for extra services, but the total was $30- less than I usually pay for a pedicure. I would go back if I needed another walk-in service and was near the Plainview Shopping Center.

I originally asked for a glitter ombré but it turned out nothing like I had planned. It was very clumpy, splotchy, and not what i was looking for so I asked him to redo it. I felt bad but I was not going to pay for something that looked like that. The final product was just super thick, uneven, and you could still see the glitter underneath the layers of nail polish. Not only that but the employee was very disrespectful and gave me attitude when I asked him to redo it. Since I am the one paying for the service, I feel as though the way he acted about the whole situation was unprofessional. Due to the poor job on his part and attitude, I will not be coming back to this salon.

When it comes to nail salons there's a few things that matter to me…read more The most important one is that my shellac nails last a minimum of 14 days. I got a shellac mani at Signature nails and it peeled off several nails in 9 days. For the cost of it, I expect better quality than that. Cleanliness of the salon was great. I was rushed to pick out my colors before I had even looked through all the options. It was repeated to me 5x by two different employees--what color, what color, pick a color, have you chosen yet? There's hardly any massage in the mani or pedi. Like less than 45 seconds for each one. I'm sure of this before the girl massaged my hand/arm while the other hand was under the curing light for the shellac. If the shellac had stayed on for 14+ days, I would've went back but I won't pay that cost and only get 9 days worth.
