So after being super loyal of my nail place, I have no had luck getting in since they are closed each time I stop by. So I found a salon near my home open on Sundays. I stopped in around 2:30, and just had to wait a few minutes. They removed my gel nail, gave me a manicure and the most incredible pedicure. I decided to splurge and go with the Pearl pedicure. I am so glad I did. It was so relaxing and just what I needed. I usually do not get gel on my toes but since it's snowing out, I thought it was worth the up charge to do gel on my toes. The pedicure was like a mini massage for my tired achy legs. I have a busy travel week for work so I had to find a nail Salon open today. So glad I stopped in. I also had gel for my nails too. i've been to nails a few times on this last time I was there on Saturday they did the pedicure. The quality of the pedicure was fine. When it came down to the manicure, they gave me to the manager who was not very personable to you. He did not even talk to you the whole entire time he treated you as nothing then he started rushing me through so that he could get to other people that came in the door. The only time he spoke to me was when he wanted me to pay for the service going forward. I will never come back to this place. It's horrible. All they are after Is this the money. They don't even have up-to-date colors of nail polish It's the same old colors that they try to pass off to people. I will never recommend this place nor will I ever step foot back in the sea nails. They did a horrible job on my nails. The nail tech seemed rushed and my nails are lumpy and uneven. Also my daughter's nails are nothing like she wanted. Her nail tech told her "I hope you like them because im not fixing them". Her nail underneath is showing and she says they hurt. They also over charged us. First off when you give someone a pedicure make sure the water is not boiling HoT before you keep rushing them to put there feet in the water. Very rough and rude you don't tell someone you don't like there nails and you work in a nail place. After I used my card to pay I noticed there was polish literally all around my nails and I asked the lady to please get it off it looks messy she tried to file it off damaging my skin. My favorite nail place in Louisville! It is SUPER clean, which is important to me in a nail salon. The decor is adorable and beach theme, hence the same. Ask for Kim but honestly all the tech are great. They spend extra time with you to get your nails perfect. Their packages and prices are affordable but last longer than most. I went to the salon years ago and was loyal to this shop because it is in my neighborhood. I stopped going to them because the owners would let me make an appt, but still took walk ins ahead of me. I stayed away for more than 10 years and only went back after learning of an ownership change. I've been going to Seas for about three months and have tried several different nail techs. I usually get the dip. But, I've had trouble with my nails coming off within a week on several occasions. This is the main reason I tried various techs. Finally Tom did my nails and they lasted for over two weeks. So I went back to him before going on a 10 day vacation. Unfortunately, the nail repair Tom did on one of my nails that had broken popped off within two days! Fortunately I found a salon in Boston that repaired it. Then on day two of our cruise, I had to get the entire set removed because several nails were chipping. It cost me $10 for the repair and $45 for the removal and to have gel put on them. When I went back to Sea this past weekend, I told them of the issues. I went ahead and let them do my nails again with dip. But they didn't offer any sort of discount. They charged me $45! Which is more than any other salon charges for dip. I will be looking for a new salon. read more

This is first time I ever write a review on ANYTHING. I have never taken the time to do this but felt it was necessary for others. I came to this place for my birthday to get my nails done. The customer service was great. But I had a terrible experience with my nails being done properly. The guy cut me twice and I didn't think it was too much of a big deal until I woke up the next day with pain in both fingers and noticed my toes were all messed up too. I waited 5 hours before going to bed, making sure my toes were dry. He put way too much nail polish. I have done my nails MANY times throughout the years and have not had this experience before. When I first started going to Sea Nails 2019 the staff was friendly,shop was clean,organize,relaxing,and the service was EXCELLENT. I had a favorite Nail Tech and ALWAYS requested her(Always gave nice tips). On one occasion during a visit she appeared to be extremely annoyed and it was reflected by the poorly pedicure. I still tipped her well and felt everyone has a bad day. I didn't return for a long time. Recently, I reluctantly returned. Unfortunately, the person who typically gave me a pedicure was not there which was fine. The problem is I was given a person who could NOT or ACT as if she couldn't understand any English or simply had a attitude. I wasn't in the pedicure chair two minutes when she approached me to begin the pedicure. She didn't speak or greet. I requested at least 5 minutes of soaking(no crowd) That was not done so okay. She asked if I wanted toe nails cut down and I replied yes and short as possible. That didn't happen either. Every time I asked a question and or she used items that was painful(I have very thick/hard toe nails). She would make a comment to the nail tech next to her. I asked the tech whom she was making comments if she understand English and if so was she making comments and the tech replied was sorta. She did the least for the upgraded pedicure. I still gave her a nice tip. The following day I called Sea Nails and requested to speak with the owner/ manager which NEVER happened or He didn't want to acknowledge himself as either. Several times I attempted to explain what occurred but was interrupted and encouraged to RETURN. I did and it was more than OBVIOUS the employees were aware. No pedicure;just a nail trim,minor scrub and nails polished over the previous polish(my own). No more Sea Nails for ME. I spent $32.00 plus a nice tip and my daughter in law $90.00. +a tip. read more

I really wished I didn't have to even give this place 1 star :( So I have to tell my story... Went to Sea Nails for the first time. It was me, my 8 year old Brynlee and my mother in law patty. We walked in and asked for 2 basic pedicures, 1 child pedicure, and 2 full sets. Total comes to 131.00 and my mother in law hands over cash. We go back and sit in the chairs, the girl asks what colors. We all say white tips. Ok that's a 5.00 upcharge.. Ok no big deal. About 15 mins into my pedicure (which we were getting from the young kids that did great however, I'm sure they're not licensed) the older 2 women (tina and tammy) come over rushing them. When they didn't hurry our pedicures along the women come over to both me and my mother in law and started sanding our nail beds and applying our nails all while our pedicure was going on. The the lady tells the girl to stop my toe tips and guided me to the table to finish my nails ... My toes were not even finished yet. The lady literally did my full set in 10 mins not worried about how rough she was being. She finishes put me under the fan and moves to the lady next to me. I had to remind her about my toes needing to be finished. I can't tell my mother in laws side however it was similar. I do know her nail tech didn't tell her to go wash her hands before applying the clear coats. And the lady avoided my motber in law when she asked for them to be shorter. My mother in laws French tips on her big toe was not complete and looked like crap.. as was my daughter's big toe. Under my nails weren't shaved down and are extremely jagged. They rushed us completely and it wasn't an enjoyable experience. As I get up to leave the lady runs out the door and tells me I owe her another 33 dollars. I knew I was supposed to pay the 5 per person for tips....but I didn't see how it came to 33 dollars more..until the lady tells me 10 was for the 4 microscopic flowers they asked brynlees if she wanted. That's right they asked the 8 year old! What 8 year old wouldn't want flowers?!? Then when my mother in law asks for a receipt (which she keeps track of her cash due to her business) they tell her they don't give receipts for cash. I laughed and told them seriously they are supposed to supply receipts for tax and audit reasons. The lady then starts to write the charges on a easy cash pawnshop post it. I made sure to let them know that I will take my business down to L.t nails or Dixie nails. I have never had such a bad experience at a nail salon. I felt so rushed and for the amount of money we paid I wanted to at least be able to enjoy my pedicure. Especially when I'm not one to get regular pedis. read more

When you go into a salon and say you want a manicure wouldn't you think your cuticles would be trimmed and so on. Not with this place, barely did any filing on my nails. Had gel on my nails from previous so it had to be removed. I got a gel French manicure and I didn't notice till I got home that all of the previous polish was not completely taken off and there are bubbles in my polish. The guy that does the polishing hurries through the whole polishing and does a crappy job. This was my second visit and it was my last. They may be cheaper than some but you get what you pay for. read more
