Curry A La Flambe definitely knows how to turn dinner into a bit of a show…read more We started with dishes like the corn fritters and loaded banana peppers before getting into the Mango Habanero Paneer Flambé, which comes with the tableside flambé presentation. It's obviously fun to watch, but thankfully there's good food behind the theatrics too. For mains we tried the malai kofta, palak paneer and dal makhni along with jalapeño naan and onion-pine nut pilaf. There's a lot here for vegetarians, which made it easy to order several dishes for the table and share. The restaurant has a polished, energetic ambience, and the tableside presentations make the experience feel more special than a standard Indian dinner. We finished with mango kulfi and an unexpectedly excellent chocolate tart, which may have been the surprise of the night. A fun spot when you want Indian food with a more modern, experience-driven presentation.

My husband and I came here over the weekend for an impromptu date night and were so impressed…read more Food: 10/10 Ambiance: 9/10 Service: 10/10 We ordered the goat belly samosa, chicken inferno, lamb shank rogan josh, kachumbar salad, garlic naan, and lasuni palak. Every dish--except the salad--was spot on: authentic, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The chicken inferno was especially memorable, and the portions were generous. My only suggestion would be for the kachumbar salad to have more vibrant colors and fresher flavors--perhaps beets and carrots instead of the very chewy purple cabbage. I didn't try any of the cocktails, but I did have a glass of cava brut, which was served in a white wine glass and was a very generous pour. This place is truly a gem, and I hope they continue to keep the same recipes and portions because they've got something special here. We will definitely be back!

I came here today for lunch and the food was so delicious and I wanted to order literally…read moreeverything on the menu! The portion sizes were huge and I had a lot to take home afterwards! The service is also great and I like the silly wall art lol :)) My new favorite desi restaurant in the Villa Park area!

Kabab Mahal is another gem of a place for really delicious, fresh and made to order meals! Rayan…read moreour server was excellent to help us select items and checked on us often during our meal. Rayan started by serving us a complimentary hot bowl of chicken corn soup. He gave us another bowl too! I must say everything we had tasted authentic and flavorful. They make everything in house right down to the end with deserts! We started with samosas which came out piping hot, filled nicely and not a bit greasy. I loved all the chutneys that accompanied all our dishes and soup. All the meats are halal in this establishment. We haven't had beef chapli kabobs this good in a long time. The chicken boti had a nice subtle charcoal flavor and every chicken piece was seasoned and flavored throughout not just on the top! They give you nice generous portions as well. When everything is made to order, it takes a little bit longer but it's well worth the wait. The desert of warm gulab jamuns in a nice syrup and kheer with chai was really delicious. We also tried thier mango lassi which was excellent! Overall each menu item has its own unique flavor and taste. You can't go wrong with whatever you order. Service is friendly and the food is very comforting. Don't pass up a chance to try their food. We are looking forward to our next visit to try thier other dishes!
