Staff and slow workers, I understand. Today they have roughly four people working there, but they have a lack of returning after break or lunch. This has happened before, but I didn't think of anything of it and thought it was just another day. Today they will push the button when they come back after lunch 12 minutes late. And with a lot of people waiting for their medication. So I went ahead and reported them to customer service.

This a very clean and modernized environment store with professional chairs and mirrors in the middle of Chicago O'hare Airport. It was very easy to get to and very convenient without having to take a shuttle or another tram to get to. I ended up buying a lot of stuff on a military discount saving $50, but I needed travel size items and fall colors to update from summer. This has been the best make over I have ever had in less than and hour in an airport. I'm used to the 5 star mall treatment and I must say this was better than that. I do want to say up front that normally such a ranking would involve the staff's customer attitude but this is NOT the case here - they're OK. What troubles me about this place is the neglect that one sees with stock and maintenance that is not common across Walgreen's. Things are haphazardly stocked or they're just out of stuff. The store doesn't seem all that clean. And what blows me away the most is their parking lot and the "lake" that regularly appears in the middle of it after rainfall. Sure the area near the Des Plaines River floods, I get that. But I can't tell you how many times I've driven by the store in the past few months and seen cars sitting in what is at least a half a foot of water. Walgreen's often owns the real estate that their stores sit on, but whether they do here or not, for gosh sakes - get the sewers in the parking lot blown out, fixed, replaced or WHATEVER needs to be done to correct this. The place is really a poor reflection of the Walgreen's brand.

At the time, Fall was approaching and I grew tired of dealing with my dry skin that suffered harsh Midwest winters. For years, I struggled to find a thick moisturizing hand cream and tried several brands. Sadly, nothing seemed to work. So I figured I would try L'Occitane in the hopes this visit would be my end all solution to a longstanding problem. I visited mid-afternoon on a weekend and the store was empty. Within seconds, a sales lady (whose name I failed to remember) asked if I needed help with anything. I explained to her I needed a resolution to my dry skin and winter itch issues. She then introduced me to two of their most popular lines. For hand cream, she selected the Shea butter hand cream. I loved the light subtle scent and the thick cream left my hands soft and supple with no oily residue. I use this hand cream sparingly and it last through the entire winter season. I couldn't ask for anything better. For winter itch, she recommended the Amande line of bath and body care. The shower and skin oils pack a 1-2 punch when dealing with dry skin due to harsh winter elements. The Almond oil applies on light and has a delicate fragrance which I absolutely love. I've used both these products for over a year and am happy to report no regrets with any past purchases. Their products are pricey but if you sign up via their website, or in store, they tend to run a lot of promos throughout the year with 20% discounts on a lot of their bestselling items (including those I just mentioned) to your eMail address. This location, at the Fashion Outlets mall, has been my recent go to. The drive is out of the way but since this location is considered an outlet store, they tend to have more things on sale and wherever the sales are, Nina follows. Another neat thing is if you spend a certain dollar amount, you can get a free gift from the store. My last visit I spent over $80, and I got a free gift set of Amande body products (worth $25) which was neat. See my pictures below. Even if you don't spend that much, oftentimes, they give free samples of stuff with every purchase. It's an ideal place to shop if you're looking for quality bath and body care or if you need to find a nice gift for family and friends.

This Walgreens ruined our Christmas. On December 19, I…read morepurchased two $100 Sephora gift cards from this store as Christmas gifts for my daughters. I gave them on Christmas Eve, trusting that a major retailer would not sell fraudulent products. A few days later, when one of my daughters tried to use her gift card, we were told at Sephora that the card was FAKE with a $0 balance. What should have been a happy holiday moment turned into confusion, disappointment, and stress for my children. Christmas gifts are supposed to be special -- instead, my daughters were left feeling embarrassed and heartbroken because Walgreens sold us counterfeit gift cards. When I contacted Walgreens customer service, I was treated with complete indifference. They were dismissive, uninterested, and clearly did not care that my family lost money due to a scam that happened inside their store. I was told it was "not their responsibility," and the claim was closed with no real investigation or concern. Sephora confirmed the cards were not legitimate -- real Sephora gift cards have 16 digits, while the ones sold to me had only 14 digits. That means Walgreens allowed fraudulent gift cards to be sold directly to customers. Because Walgreens refused to take responsibility, I was forced to file a police report. That should never be necessary for something purchased at a trusted pharmacy. DO NOT BUY GIFT CARDS HERE. Walgreens will not protect you if you get scammed. Their customer service does not care that they ruined a family's Christmas. This experience destroyed our trust in Walgreens and turned what should have been a joyful holiday into a stressful and upsetting situation.
