Couldn't diagnose my cars electrical problems other than sending me a video in which they were all just laughing .Maybe ok for simple repairs or tires but not when it came to diagnosing advanced or complex electrical problems . read more

Today I had a flat tire on my way in to Gettysburg. After an hour on the phone with AAA, I was still sitting on the side of the road with a flat tire. Two neighbors stopped and helped. They put the spare tire on and recommended K&W. The shop was super busy so my expectations were low. But I was in and out with no problem. They patched the tire, didn't just plug it. They also gave me a full printout of exactly what they had done. Cost was very reasonable. Appreciated their good service and pleasant attitude. read more

We had a surprise flat tire coming into town for a nice weekend. Although totally swamped, they fit us in the next morning, replacing two others as well. The manager, Will, was nothing but courteous and kind. He saved the weekend for us. read more

I bought my tires at this store. Months later I had a slow leak in one of the tires. I stopped at the store three different times over several weeks. Each time the manager said they didn't have any time because they were busy. He would not let me make an appointment either. I did the repair myself. The leak was caused by a nail in the tire. Coincidentally I had the same thing happen several months later. Same thing from the manager but this time I was able to make an appointment for a day on the following week. Again I decided to repair the leak myself. In summary, the manager did not seem to think I was important even though I've bought tires, brakes, inspections and other repairs from that store. I doubt I will go there again. read more

It took over 24 hours to get my car back for a simple patch in my tire. I received no communication and had to call the next day only to be told "Oh, I forgot to call you this morning but your car is ready." I have also come here before and am always treated rudely and overcharged. I recommend you take your business elsewhere, as I will be doing. read more

I have little experience buying tires. never been here before. But I needed tires. Coworker mentioned these guys. Went in just as the workers were starting their lunch break. No problem, I was prepared to wait, I don't care. Manager said they'd get to my job as soon as they got back. Meanwhile, as he was waiting for his lunch to be delivered by his coworker, he went out and started my job. It was done way quicker than I expected. About $300 for four tires, 65K warranty. No idea if it's expensive or cheap, but it seems reasonable. Plus, they have a sweet old dog in the shop, he came and sat with me as I waited. And they called me the other day to thank me for their business. Will surely remember them next time I need tires. read more

Purchased 4 new tires. One had the belt slip and the tire bounced hard when driving. Took it back and they told me my rim was bent, no way just trying to push me out the door. Took the car to a real mechanic they put 4 1/2 ounces of weight on the tire to stop the bouncing. Took it back and showed them what they did and a note on the receipt saving the rim was fine. They would not replace the under warranty tire. Called Copper Tires, hasseled with them for a while, they do not deal directly with customers. After 45 minutes on the phone they told me to go to K&W and have the manager call Copper headquarters with the number provided. After a couple of minutes on the phone with headquarters the manager hung up the phone. The tires on the car had issues and headquarters instructed K&W to replace all 4 tires. Took an entire day, cost me $40.00 to prove too a tire service the tire was bad. Poor experience and by the way the managers dog is running all over the place and jumping on customers. Don't waste your time, go to Mike's Kars for a honest service. read more

Stopped by for a camper tire after a blowout and they had just what we needed. So thankful for fast service and a good price too. Would highly recommend to others. PS, we always try to patronize the local business. read more

I had a state inspection done here. I was told that the alignment on the front tires was bad. The guy told me that my front tires were both pointed in. No one gave me a chance to look at the tires on the car. He rolled out a tire that was worn on the inside and told me that I need two tires and an alignment with a wait time of 1 hr and 20 min, costing $270. I decided to let him do the work. He pulled the car out of the garage and up to the front to give it to me without even test driving it. After waiting 2 hrs and 50 min I thought I was done, but as soon as I started driving, I noticed the car was tough to steer and pulling to the left. When I returned to the shop and explained the issues that I was having he became defensive and aloof. He tried telling me that it was probably something else. The car was not safe to drive, and I had to go to another shop to have the alignment redone. I didn't trust them at this point to do it right. The numbers were way off, and I had to pay another $70. I feel that my money paid for the alignment should be refunded, since it was done wrong and they sent me out with an unsafe vehicle. read more
