Used Excaliber Towing this weekend through AAA. I was stuck along the road in by an Orchard with no cell service. I had to walk down the road to get a signal to call AAA. Excaliber Towing came and the driver was irritated that the directions he was given where not accurate. He was saying that is why he was so late. He gave me gas because that is what I thought the problem was and give me a jump to start my vehicle. Before he even left my vehicle started to die again. He said," I'm not a mechanic" My car died again while he drove off. I had to call AAA again and have them send someone else. I was stuck along the road for hours with my 82 yr old father who didn't have his medicine or any food in the hot sun. I would not recommend them! They didn't care at all and made AAA look bad. read more

Called AAA for a dead battery & they sent Excaliber Towing. The world has been experiencing the COVID-19 pandemic for months & the woman from Excaliber shows up without a mask and sits in the front seat of the car, next to my elderly mother, without even asking to turn the key. I cannot fathom someone being so out of touch and so cavalier in the midst of a global health emergency. I'm still shocked and horrified at this behavior. I wish I could post zero stars and report them to the county health authorities. read more

My radiator exploded. I called AAA and the recommended Excalibur Towing. They also had a service center, so I had my Jeep towed there to be repaired. They fixed my Jeep, the first time. I had tried a couple of other garages in town hint: (Kars) and (Knox). After a few chances to get a single repair done, I walked away disappointed. So this morning, my Jeep ran hot and I called AAA and requested Excalibur again and I received the same great service. I was back on the road and made an appointment for an oil change in a couple of weeks. I guess Excalibur is my new mechanic ! read more

I was connected to Excalibar through AAA, as my keys were locked in my rental car and I had no spare set. Ryan was dispatched that evening and arrived sooner than expected. He stood outside in the pouring rain and was eventually was able to unlock the vehicle and retrieve the keys. AAA had my daughter's car towed here April 2018. Kevin charged me about $1300 to have the radiator replaced. My daughter then drove it 60 miles and steam came out of the hood. She had to have it towed back to him again at which time he charged her another $196. She just left there and the temperature gauge is hot zone again. Do not use this guy - he is a fake. We are now having it towed to the Acura dealer in Mechanicsburg for a full diagnostic. Apparently other students at Gettysburg have had similar issues with this guy - STAY AWAY read more

I am the office manager for a motor coach company in Missouri. This week one of our coaches had an issue with a manufacturer's part and required a tow of approximately 50 miles to address the issue at a repair facility. Excalibur Towing not only price-gouged us at $2700 for a tow that other companies in the area later quoted at $500, but when they presented us with the charge and we contested it, they called the police and held our motor coach hostage until we agreed to their completely unreasonable charge. Excalibur Towing is not an ethical company. Unless you literally like burning money, take your business elsewhere. read more

Got roadside assistance from Excalibur thru AAA and they were so great! The tow truck operator was so nice, friendly, and helpful. Arrived more quickly than the estimate from the dispatcher, worked quickly to jack up the car and put on our spare tire, and didn't critic our emergency procedures as others have in the past. I was unfortunate enough to have my car towed from a restaurant parking lot in Gettysburg. I had parked there before a show and planned to go to the restaurant after the Tap show at the Majestic. I called Excaliber about 8:30 P.M. when I discovered the car was towed. Excaliber demanded $150.00 in cash. I do not carry that much money in my wallet and asked if I could use a credit card. This was not allowed and I have no ATM card. I am from Maryland and was told Excaliber closed at 10:00 P.M. so it is a long walk home. The restaurant staff helped by getting a really nice Uber driver but it was really nerve racking trying to come up with $150.00 and get to the tow business by closing time or face trying to find a place to stay in Gettysburg. Excaliber immediately demanded my license and the money when I got to their business counter. Never asked how I was or showed any sign of compassion. Really a awful experience. Joan read more
