The technician replaced the battery he brought, but after doing so, he still did not attempt to open the safe. Instead, I was told that I should consider drilling the safe or replacing the keypad, both of which would have resulted in additional costs. It was only after I repeatedly questioned whether every reasonable troubleshooting step had been tried that the technician made another attempt and successfully opened the safe without drilling or replacing any parts. My disappointment is about the lack of clear communication, the impression that more expensive solutions were suggested before all reasonable options had been exhausted, and the overall customer experience. After I contacted the company to share my concerns, they acknowledged that the technician could have communicated the troubleshooting process more clearly, but ultimately dismissed my concerns and closed the case without addressing the service experience.
