We've used Stucchi three times since 2014 for small projects including tree and bush planting and transplanting and each time we were thrilled with the result. Everything that they planted has thrived and, most importantly, every bush and tree that they have transplanted from another spot our property has done extremely well. I can't tell you how many local landscapers I called to get a quote on transplanting trees and bushes that the previous home owner had installed that were overgrown or in a poor spot. Most companies said they would not even consider transplanting and the few times when I was able to get a quote it was for an exorbitant amount. We just completed our fourth project this spring 2019 and this time we asked Jim to completely transform our backyard creating privacy along our property lines in a way that provided both solid screening and natural beauty. He also helped us see the benefit of installing/transplanting interior plants/bushes around our patio to the exterior property line and then using smaller plants around the patio to open everything up. His vision was incredible and helped me see beyond my limited imagination. Jim uses a combination of science and art in his approach to designing and executing and the evidence is a beautiful backyard that we get to enjoy for years to come. He walked us through the process and gave us ideas for things we could do on our own. We had been avoiding pruning and hired his team to do that for us as well. Jim is the utmost professional and extremely easy and accommodating to work with. He and his teams of guys are always on time, clean, and friendly. His work is absolutely top notch and stands the test of time. Perennial Connection abandoned our job and stopped responding to us…read more John Hod charmed us with his personality at first. We hired him in October 2018 to restore and modify our existing retaining wall. Soon after, he bait and switched us with another contractor, Mike Masciarelli, aka: Randy on Call. To this day I have never met Mike. Mike was supposed to be the "communicator" and "project manager" while John would be the mason. 6 months later the job is less than half done and both John and Mike have been MIA for over two weeks at this point. In fact, there are parts of our existing retaining wall that are in worse shape than before we hired Perennial Connection. John demolished some portions for upgrading and they currently remain demolished because they never returned. Throughout these past 6 months of torture John and Mike would go days - even a week plus - without responding. Then a text would appear: "sorry we'll be there tomorrow" to tide us over. Then they would fail to show up again. John and Mike are also poor at taking direction and/or poor masons. I'm a designer myself so was able to provide very detailed drawings of what we wanted. The little work that they did do wasn't what we spec'd and it was sloppy. The lack of communication and attention to detail is astounding. DO NOT hire these people. They will more than disappoint you. They will torture your mind and steal your money without delivering what they promise.

Right from the start the responses were fast and frequent, we never had to chase anyone down for a reply. The proposal has all the details we needed was just what we were looking for. We had a few tricky hurdles that the crew was able to get by; one of the hurdles involved a hidden tank that we didn't know about but David was able to come up with a solution right away. We had to make a lot of changes and it came out better than we originally imaged. If you're looking for a landscaper call Ahronian because your search is over. These guys are everything you need. They show up on time, they answer all your questions and communication is great. Oh and of course the quality of their work is fantastic as well!

Finding that all in one company is nearly impossible -- but I found it with Jose and J. Gudiel Landscape. Jose came out to see my house and discuss what I wanted. I was away when they first came to work but when I got home, even in the dark, I could tell they had been at the house and did a great job weeding, trimming trees and mowing. I am very happy with the quality of their work and attention to detail. I then asked Jose to help clean up an overgrown section of the property to prepare it for a playground. Jose made some suggestions and was able to start right away. His team worked long days in the heat and everyone was very nice. We had a back porch that was rotting and falling apart and needed to be removed. We also had a hot tub that I thought would complicate things. But when Jose arrived to give us a quote he knew exactly what needed to be done and that's why we hired him. His team deconstructed our porch and made a beautiful patio along with two sets of steps. They also made a support wall to ensure that the steps stay in place. Throughout this whole project, Jose was easily approachable, communicative and friendly.
