When we bought our house in 2010 we knew one of the things we'd need to do was replace ALL of the windows and the front door. The old windows were ill fitted and not at all energy efficient. We waited about a year and a half and then went in to K&J windows. We met with Darren who was so knowledgeable and helpful. Darren helped us figure out exactly what we needed without pressuring us to go with something additional. He explained everything to us including the cost and helped us decide which windows we should go with. Darren also helped us order our front door. It's a gorgeous door and we are so happy with the result! We ordered our windows and door - they arrived quickly and were amazing. I was interested in replacing a few windows and reached out to multiple companies for a quote. After speaking with K&J Windows, I knew I had to go with them. They were detailed and informative. After speaking with them on the phone for 20-30 minutes, they helped me reach the conclusion that replacing my windows at this time was probably not a good decision. And if I did want to do it, they gave me directions on how I could replace them myself. Who does that?! This further reinforced my belief that K&J Windows were the best windows providers and installers in the valley. Even though I didn't replace my windows at this time, I will in the future. Ok, so, I didn't even use this company and I would refer them 100 times over. I have been calling around because a dual pane window had gotten broken and all other competitors were quoting prices to replace the whole window. Not one of them said that just the single piece of glass can be replaced in a dual pane. Until I called this company and spoke to Kyle. He said the whole window didn't have to be replaced, just call a glass company and they will replace the glass alone. I called them and literally was half the cost. I got quotes from 4 companies and the K & J quote was the best by far. In fact, at first I thought there had to be a mistake. Cody took the time to come back over to walk me through every detail and showed me where the other companies were assuming upgrades for me that I didn't want or need. I appreciate Cody's no nonsense, cut to the chase approach. It took me few months to pull the trigger. Cody kept himself top of mind in my emails, but was never pushy or over the top..for that I'm grateful. He came back over AGAIN to refresh my understanding on everything and it was a go. The next guy in the process was the dude who came for final measurements. I don't remember his name, but he was courteous and ALSO took the time to make sure my expectations were in line. The wait for the product wasn't too bad and then came the day of installation. So, by this time, I'm working from home due to Covid & I'm stressing because I'm imagining that its going to loud and dusty and distracting. Boy, was I wrong. They installed every window in my house and 3 sliders in a matter of one day. Nick and the guys (Solo, Carlos, Scott & Gary) we so professional and efficient. With my headphones on working, I hardly knew there were there until they got to my office window, and there seemed to be no mess during the process and they left my house cleaner than when they started! Nick walked me through every room and we tested and discussed each window before heading out. Guys, can I just say, my windows are beautiful compared! He also was very conscious of our time when he came to give us an estimate and explain the product and installation. (We have a new baby and other companies were not so accommodating.) Danielle in their office was super helpful with getting our financing details in order and went above and beyond. We were also pleased about having the installation date moved up. We asked to be alerted if installation could be moved up and sure enough they were installed nearly 3 weeks earlier than anticipated. I requested a quote for replacement of 3 sliding glass doors. I got the quote and the sales agent was very helpful. I decided to go with the next level higher quality door and needed an updated quote. After emailing the agent multiple times, I finally called the office requesting the quote. The quote came that day. Ready to order and waited for final measurement appointment. Call finally came and meeting was scheduled for next day at 10am. Rearranged my schedule and my daughters to make the appointment. Waited around until 11am and finally left. No call, email, or text. The following day text came at 7am asking if the appointment was yesterday or today. My time is more important that this, especially when I am paying. May be a good company, but based on my initial experience they will not get a chance to show me or disappointment again. read more

An outstanding company with very skilled and professional installers, all at a very fair and competitive price. The salesman Tony was great to work with, and the installers did a fantastic job. We chose Ply Gem vinyl windows and sliding doors - great quality at a good price. The work involved more than just routine replacements. We had ugly aluminum bay windows across the front of the house. They cut those out entirely which was a big job in itself, then replaced with beautiful double pane windows. In the master bedroom, the aluminum single pane window was removed and the back of the house cut to fit a sliding patio door. Again, a really great job with excellent workmanship. We had K & J Windows replace nine windows and two french/patio doors in our home and we could not be happier with the results. The overall professionalism and workmanship by this company is top notch. We solicited bids from four window companies and found K&J to be the most professional and thorough out of all of them. Their pricing was in the mid range. Since we had just purchased the home, we do not have any historical data to compare the potential cost savings. However, I am extremely confident there is a significant difference. The sun and heat would bake through the original east facing windows and it would be uncomfortable to stand anywhere near them due to the heat from the sun coming through. One of the bedrooms had both an east facing window and also a patio door. This room would begin to bake in the late morning/early afternoon. These issues were resolved after K & J installed the new Low-E dual pane windows. We also had K & J install the trim around all the windows. We were so happy with the results as they did a fantastic job. The trim really added an aesthetic touch we were looking for. From the sales (Tony) to the installation (Jeb and his crew), we were extremely impressed and highly recommend K & J Windows. read more

"Five-Star" from start to finish...even the first phone call was professional, courteous, and efficient. The process involved several contacts with Cody Eager initially who did the first estimate/walk-around, then providing a detailed and extremely thorough quote that summarized the scope of work, materials to be purchased, specs from EnergySaver such as SHGCs, U-factors, and VLT ratings, installation costs, taxes, and time-to-completion estimates. Compared to the 3 other companies I spoke with this was miles ahead. Cody then patiently negotiated some changes I suggested, providing equally detailed estimates for each proposed change. K & J came in $1500 under Window World; $2051 under Affordable Windows; and $34,651 under Renewal by Anderson. That is not a typo...Anderson's quote was just preposterous! Step 2 involved a visit to my home by Zeb, who took the official measurements and collected the advance payment. Zeb is precise as the success of the job depends on the work he completes. Those dimensions MUST be correct and you don't find out until they are installed. No worries on that end. The installation was on schedule and performed by crew chief Nick and his team of Solo, Scott, and Carlos. They arrived early on Memorial Day Monday, worked steady and diligently, and finished 15 windows (1 patio slider) in under 9 hours. All the window measurements were spot on and the crew was a pleasure to be around. They removed the old windows, cleaned as they went, worked quietly even with minor carpentry needed, and even helped me with some existing hardware I could not remove myself. This is my 3rd time using K&J windows so that should probably sum up everything you need to know about how I feel about them. The first time was to replace a sliding glass door. The first 2 sliding glass doors I replaced I used Home Depot and it was a meh experience, the second was Lowes and it was a disaster (they still haven't called me back with problems I was having with the door). The 3rd was K&J and the quote was less than I received from Home Depot or Lowes. Now I am a firm believer in that you get what you pay for in life, so cost was not the big deciding factor. K&J had so many good reviews I decided to try them out and I was not disappointed. Since the initial sliding glass door install I have used K&J to replace my front door and every window in my house. From the front office, to Tony my sales rep, and all of the installers it has been a great experience. When you find a company like this use them and tell your friends. We just had our entire house upgraded with new windows from K andJ. Several neighbors had used them as well and all were pleased. I can see why because they are prompt, courteous, clean, and on target with price. We had 29 windows replaced. Our HOA requires a certain type of installation which requires cut back of the stucco and they have a stucco guy that is amazing as well. The entire install took less than three days with the windows and two more for the stucco. Very, very pleased. The house is much more quiet and very energy efficient. We used to have darkened windows and dark solar screens. Now our house is so bright! Our air conditioner works less because of the efficiency even with this hot May weather. We started doing our homework on window companies about a month before we decided on the company. It was a no brainer for us picking K & J Windows over the competition and we are so glad we went with them. Tony our sales rep was great. He was very knowledgeable and he covered everything with us so that making our decision wasn't hard. Tony didn't come into our home and try hard sell us which we greatly appreciated. He is so good at his job he doesn't have to hard sell you. We had Tony educate us on the high end priced windows and the middle of the road windows and we went with the in between. The process from start to finish was very painless. We ordered 25 windows and the installation only took 2 days. Pricing of the windows and installation was great. Nick and his install crew were outstanding, cleaned up after they were done inside and out. The crew were polite, professional and from watching them I could tell they had worked to gather a long time and they definitely knew what they were doing. Not impressed. When it comes to sourcing home repairs, I always consult yelp and the other place with the "K". :) And, I don't think I've been steered wrong yet! This place had such amazing reviews, I figured I couldn't miss. But, miss I did. :( I called, and spoke to a very courteous guy (that's the reason they even get two stars). I said I have a kitchen picture window that needed replacement. He said the job was too small to send out an estimator, and told me to take pics and measurements, send them along, and they would reply with a quote. Fine, I figured if they didn't need to see the window for a firm quote, it must be a very small project, and therefore, very small $$$ for me. Yeah. :) I received the quote a few hours later, which was as promised. However, price for the window replacement? $3k. Seriously? $3k is a small enough job so they can't be bothered to even assess the project in person? Business must be good. lol But, definitely didn't work for me. Pity, because as I decided to have this one window done, I realized I had a few others that also had gotten moisture in the double pane, and I wanted them replaced as well.
