He took a sincere interest in my project, made some great recommendations, and his quote was considerably much lower than what many other companies wanted to charged me for the same windows. We had nine new windows installed yesterday and I couldn't be happier. I'll admit I'm a very particular consumer which is what I told Tony the K&J sales rep when he arrived at my home. I stressed that I didn't want any of the original brick surrounding the windows chipped or broken when the old crank out windows were removed. I knew this was possible since I had replaced three windows myself without damage a few years ago. I knew how much work it would be to remove and install nine and I wanted it done before the holidays. K&J Windows was the right choice. Tony was very helpful navigating through the choices available and explained the pro's and con's of various products. After just an hour or so, I made my selections. I was given a date to expect delivery and installation and much to my surprise, the crew showed up at 8:00am as expected with all the windows loaded on their trailer. One of crew immediately began removing the old windows while the other two began placing the new windows in the right places. Before I knew it, the windows were installed, the guys cleaned up after themselves and loaded all the old windows onto the trailer for disposal. They even went as far as to caulk around the outside of the windows I installed but I never finished the task. All I had to do was ask and without hesitation it was done. One huge difference my family noticed to our home which we hadn't thought of was how quiet our neighborhood suddenly became! I can't get over the difference. Secondly, we turned the furnace off while the crew was here and forgot to turn it on when we went to bed. We slept comfortably all night and didn't even turn the heat on this morning. All that hype about energy efficient windows being a good investment apparently isn't hype after all. K&J Windows is the real deal. It's not often that I would take the time to right a review like this for a company I may never need again. My wife and I had some major remodeling done in our back yard and had been thinking about some new windows on the back elevation only. As we considered this more we decided to get estimates for the entire house. We met with several window companies for estimates and options. With met with Tony L. and were very pleased with his expertise and patience with us ;) I think we went through 5 or 6 variations which changed the proposal each time. Tony was very accommodating and we made the decision to move forward with a whole house window replacement. Final measurements were taken before the order was placed and we were given an install date. There were a few times I needed to call the office and Jessica was very helpful and answered all our questions. Our window installation began the EXACT DAY & TIME it was scheduled (we are painting contractors and know how difficult scheduling is so this was very impressive for us). They told us it would take 3 days to complete. It took 2 3/4 days. Zeb and his crew did a fantastic job. The windows look great and installation went extremely well. Window replacements aren't inexpensive. But we are very happy we took this step as we plan on staying on our home for a very long time. Tony came out and found a roof leak effecting my windows!!! I fixed that first and had four HUGE windows replaced. The location of the windows would have made any installer cringe--close to a hot tub and the other in a narrow alley way. They never complained, were VERY clean in and out. He said I would love the windows and I do!! Seriously, they block the heat from coming in, do not allow the a/c from escaping, and dont require sun screens. Totally worth it. After reading my review, they contacted me to apologize for the trim issue. They said the trim didn't come in white and that should have been communicated better. They wanted to come out and paint the trim white. Like I said before, it wasn't a huge deal, but I was very impressed by how serious they took this. After contacting several window installation retailers, most of which had high Yelp reviews, for quotes, we choose K&J Windows for several reasons. K&J Windows was the only retailer who kept their appointment and their integrity with their quote. We were initially contemplating replacing only 2 windows that were broken. Darrell Sutton came by to provide a quote and did a great job. We appreciated his professionalism, punctuality, and knowledge, which is why we chose your company. Darrell explained the technology behind their products and explained the installation process. He measured all of our windows to provide us with quotes not only for 2 windows but all in case we decided to replace them all. After realizing the benefit we opted to replace all the windows. We called their office to schedule the installation, initially there was a waiting list of months! After expressing our urgency in replacing our old, paper thin windows from 1985, Danielle was able to work with the installation crew and schedule us for installation within weeks. When the installation crew arrived they too were professional, efficient, and cleaned up after the project. They had enough manpower to finish installing 13 windows in one day. Now that the windows are installed, we can honestly feel how much cooler the house feels. We are waiting to see our next electricity bill to measure the savings. I have wanted to upgrade my windows for at least 5 years. I read all the different reviews for window companies. Thus I chose K & J based on all these comments, I am just in the beginning of my experience, I made a request for service on Saturday, asking not to be called prior to 11 am. I received a call back on Monday at noon, to make my appointment. So nice they paid attention to the comments I made. I just met today, Tuesday, with Cody. Very pleasant, no nonsense kinda sales rep, Awesome. He was here about 20 min, measured my windows, made some smart suggestions. Educated me, the uneducated on windows. I now will wait to see what kind of quote I receive. I know it will cost me a good amount. I hope I do not start hyperventilating. To be continued. I got my quote from Danielle within 3 hours of Cody's visit, this place is great. The quote was totally under what I thought it would be. I did not hyperventilate at all. I sent a reply back, now I wait for the next act. I received a call to schedule my install date, it is 4 weeks out, May 12th I then got a call to come out and recheck the measurements on the windows and give them half the payment. That is on for This Wed April 13. So far so good. John just got here to do the final check on the windows and found out, Cody only measured 8 of them instead of 9. No big deal, it is my living room window. So it will cost me a tad more, but that is understandable. Let us see what happens now. The next appointment I have is installation day May 12th. I also asked John about a computer desk I have in front of one of the windows. He said that he and his partner will help to move it out of the way on May 12th. They do not need a whole lot of room to move around. That is great cause it is heavy to move. I like John very professional no nonsense. I like that in a company. April 15th. Wow all I can say is Wow, I received an email from Cody that said since it was his error, that I would get the 9th window included in my original price quote. That is above and beyond what I expected. This is a wonderful experience so far. Now I can't wait for May 12th It is now May 12th, all I can say is wow, these guys are great. John and Julio showed up at 8:30 am they were done at 4:15 pm. Beautiful job. No fuss no Hassle the windows are as clean and beautiful as I imagined. When they were all done I made a comment to John about hoping I would not hear the kid across the street playing his drums. John said well he is playing them right now.I could not hear it at all. My wife and I like a quality product, good prices, and exception service. We had that experience with K&J Windows. I took care of the economics. My wife was and is the arbiter of style and appearance. We had 3 vendors quote on replacing all of the windows in our 25 year old home. Anderson, Sears and K&J. Anderson and Sears presentations were similar and their prices were within 10%. Cody of K&J was a welcome exception to the other salespeople. He took the information, and sent the proposal by email two days later. No pressure. We had ALL of windows and a door replaced by K&J with a top of the line manufacturer for several thousand dollars less than Anderson/Sears quoted for doing HALF of the home. I had a great experience with K & J. I did the yelp research and found several great options. I then got three estimates to install 5 new windows at my house. K & J were the first to come out and their rep was great. He answered all of my questions and emailed me the estimate. I sent the measurements he gave me to the other two companies and they gave me estimates as well. The estimates weren't exactly apple to apple comparisons, as each company approaches labor costs a little differently, but K & J was very competitive. Since the estimates were about even, I wanted to give K & J the business. I asked if they would come down a bit and they gave me a 10% discount, which was nice and unexpected. A few days before the installation appointment, a rep called to tell me that they ordered the wrong color (white instead of tan), which is an honest mistake. However, they offered me a $500 discount if I wanted to go with the white rather than reschedule for weeks later, so I said sure! I thought this was a nice gesture and totally made up for their mistake. All in, I paid about $1900 for the 5 windows. The windows look great and have made a huge difference in my comfort and noise levels in the house. I will use this company again if I need them. read more

Another major window outlet tried to pressure me into an immediate decision with a car sale tactic of a supposed discount that I would loose if I didn't make an decision that day, I told them that I had other bidders to see and made arrangements for a later bid after others. They came in over $500 more for the same windows and when I told them so offered to beat any valid bid by $50. I chose to deal with a company that had been honest and upfront from the start. KJ windows came to installed a patio door and windows in our house. Great experience. I called four vendors and they all gave me the bids. I also did a lot of research on windows before I picked KJ windows. what I learned from my research is that the windows price can have a big range even with same energy rating and figure. We were quote about 100 per window to about 300 per window from different vendor and different window. It all depends on what you want. You get for what you pay for. The reason I picked KJ windows is they made me feel comfortable. The sale person Angela explain everything clear and no pressure from her. We selected KJ to bid our windows and sliding doors. The quality and price of the windows we purchased were great. They completed our fairly large job in one day. There were a couple of minor communication issues during install, but were quickly corrected. The reason we didn't give all five stars is because the crew left broken glass and a lot of plastic caps that were cut off the caulking tubes in our front rock landscape. It's been 8 months and we are still finding plastic caps and glass bits. But other than that, I will definitely use them again and we've referred them to others that have been happy too. read more

Stay clear of this company , Tony came out to give us a run down of the products and was very pleasant to work with answered questions and made suggestions , he provided us with a quote that same night and honestly worked extremely hard for us , once the windows were installed it seemed that the quality of work was not near acceptable, some windows look like they were way too small and should have never been installed ( mis-measured) they filled the gap's a half inch to three-quarter inch with caulking, one of the windows has not even been completed .I called and was polite and brought up my concerns they stated that they would get right back to me , the next day they called me and told me that they would stop by my house next time that they're in " the area "to take a look no date given . The following day they call me and ask for the remaining balance and I asked them when will somebody be coming to take a look at the work that is in question and I was told next time somebody is in "your area" they would stop by, I 100% understand that mistakes happen this was a pretty big job 14 windows , however being told "next time we are in your area we will call you " and not setting a date or have any compassion for the client that spent good money at your place of business is not acceptable. this company is quick to make an appointment when you were looking for a quote but when it comes to issues with their install you do not matter to them and they make it clear , I hate to leave a comment like this but if I could help someone that is in the market for new windows do yourself a favor and look elsewhere . I had another door guy come Dov but he was unprepared and didn't even call back as promised. Back to K&J: We chose the doors, Zeb showed up and took measurements and installers Mike and Ryan did a professional job. There is always a glitch in replacing old with new and those two knew exactly how to tackle the glitch and the installation is perfect. They even added grout to an exposed area on our threshold. Honestly, I could not have been more pleased with my decision to go with K&J. They were not the first nor the last bid I recieved, but they were by far the company that made me feel the most at ease with the project I wanted done. I replaced all 11 (50+ year old) windows in my home and I am so pleased with the quality of the window and the work, and K&J was able to keep the overall asthetic of my old ranch home while giving it a HUGE upgrade. Cody was the best. He gave me an itemized and specific quote within 24 hours of his visit to my house. He responded to my emails when he was on vacation and even responded to an email I sent significantly after business hours the night before the install because I was worried about a few things - all of which he addressed and set my mind at ease. The professionalism and low pressure sales that was displayed by K&J was so vastly different than the big commerical orange company I had recieved my original quote from - which not to mention was close to 25% more than K&Js quote for the same project with a far lower quality window. Nick and all others on the instasll crew were also great. Everyone was on time, professional, and their customer service has been nothing short of awesome thus far.
