They were available in short order during our option period, showed up right before n time, and charged us $250. We had Chapman Plumbing out afterward to flush our water heater and do some minor plumbing repairs. It was about a week before they had a plumber available, but he showed up in time and did a good job. Their pricing seemed a bit high for this service, but the work seems to have been done well. The two companies are under the same umbrella, so you just call one number to schedule.

No connection…read more We had a upstairs bathtub drain leak that had been going on for months, and finally exposed on the first floor wall. I called READY rooter by contractor referral. Since this was a small on-going leak, I expected them to schedule me like a Dentist or Doctor would...asking "we have an opening 3 months from now, how does that sound?" Instead it was... "we can come over this morning." Well, within an hour, this narly dude named Tyler who claims 20-some years of experience showed up, examined the situation, cut the hole in the ceiling, and fixed the leak. The leak was due to aging pipes. The best part is it took him less than an hour! He asked for payment on the spot and took Visa which is just fine with me. I'll definitely remember Ready Rooter & Chapman Plumbing again because this guy put other plumbers I have used over the years to shame.

Walch's is the real deal! A small town appliance store run by the owner who also provides…read moreinstallation and service. It's no nonsense sales by people who know their stuff. They mostly sell Crosley which is manufactured by Whirlpool but adds a 10-year warranty that no other appliances come with. This covers the motor, fan and other expensive parts of a refrigerator, stove or dishwasher which basically means, you're guaranteed to get 10 years out of it. Though the prices are a tad higher, Walch's charges less for delivery and installation than bigger stores so it comes out the same or cheaper. Plus, they do it themselves and they stand by their products. What they stock is pretty much white and basic to deluxe. They don't carry the fancy appliances that people buy for the looks, not performance. Last Christmas, my mom's refrigerator died and she had guests coming. She bought one from Walch's and they delivered it on Christmas Eve. Then, serviced the dryer that she was having trouble with! That's service.
