DJ Justin was literally one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day in November 2023. The lead up to our big day was so simple -- he created an online portal for us to submit music preferences to and any notes with the music. So simple and easy to use!! On the day of he provided sound for our ceremony, and even changed out a faulty microphone 3 minutes into our ceremony without any guests even noticing. During our reception he did an incredible job commandeering the room, making announcements and introductions as necessary, but not cutting into the dancing whatsoever. He was amazing at reading the room and keeping the music fresh and upbeat, as to keep as many guests on the dance floor as possible. Seriously, best choice we could have made in terms of music. It was very nice to work with JustIntertainment for our 7/2022 wedding. DJ Justin was very responsive and welcoming on our initial phone call. He wasn't available on our date but based on our music preferences, he was able to make some suggestions about other DJs in his group. We set up a time to talk to DJ Ryan Jay who was also very friendly and approachable. It was seamless adding our song preferences onto the Vibo app. Ryan Jay was able to view our song choices and upload them to his devices ahead of time including our edited first dance song. DJ Ryan Jay was responsive and had a detailed prep call with us a few weeks before our wedding. He came early and set up the mics for our ceremony. During the reception he seamlessly handled the many announcements, introductions and music to make the guests feel welcomed and informed. He followed our detailed schedule to the T. The sound quality was great throughout the Julia Morgan Hall. There was a little glitch with our first dance song but DJ Ryan Jay made up for it with fun disco lights during the open dancing. Soooo this is now my second review of JustINtertainment because he's amazing and I can't think of using anyone else for my events! This time this review if for our wedding reception. DJ Justin was the first vendor we booked for our wedding on 8/19/17. We booked DJ and Photo booth services as well as uplighting through JustINertainment and the booking process was effortless. We did a video conference call to discuss what services we wanted; executed contracts and paid online; and had a final event review via conference call. The entire vibe the whole night was perfect! It was a VERY foggy night and abnormally cold in the Oakland hills. And let me tell you Justin had everyone on the dance floor in HEAVY MIST all night! I personally never made it past the photo booth, I was on the dance floor the entire night!!! I could tell how much the guests enjoyed it by their "JUST-IN" chant at the end of the night :-)!!! We heard every one of the songs we wanted played at the reception; he helped us get back on schedule after starting a bit late and accommodated us when we needed to step away from the dance floor to take photos with an elderly family member. Just fantastic per usual! The photo booth was a huge hit and I'm so glad we have these hilarious photos (all files sent to us via dropbox...again effortless)! When it was delayed due to the pandemic, his team was very flexible in switching my event date not once, but twice! I had DJ, photo booth, monogram and uplighting service. What can I say about Justin that hasn't already been said on here? First of all, I don't normally do any reviews, but I had to shout out Justin as the most AMAZING DJ ever. Having been to a lot of weddings, I know that you either remember the DJ for being great or being bad, and you never remember the middle folks. Justin has received more compliments from my friends and family than anyone else with which we worked for our event, which says a lot as we worked with some GREAT people. Justin's outgoing personality, professionalism, and charisma are on full display for the whole evening, whether meeting the parents and grandparents or chatting with the younger crowd. He did a great job of feeling the vibe of the room without any instruction and kept the music going for the cocktail hour and greeting times. It was low and calm but still upbeat. All we asked is that he play something people could talk over, but he exceeded what we thought here. Then, he was a great Master of Ceremonies, getting all of the speeches done in order and kept things moving. But the best part of the night was when the real party started. As soon as that "First Dance" ended, it was on like you know what. Our pictures show just how good Justin was at getting people out on the floor. And a side note, his photo booth was professional, he had a great attendant who was helpful and easy to work with, and everyone loved the array of props and outfits we had to use. I'm a little late with my review but I have to share my experience. I hired Justin for a little over a year ago (got married 04/05/19) to be my DJ at my wedding. I read great things about him so I was really excited, and he was the first vendor we booked! It was good to find someone who offered options and was flexible on letting the bride & groom choose all of their own music.
