I highly recommend Nicole as a swim instructor…read more Before taking lessons with her, I had already tried learning how to swim two or three times, but I never really succeeded. After just six one-hour lessons with Nicole, everything changed. In the very first lesson, she taught me how to float, which immediately helped me feel much safer and more comfortable in the water. Over the next few lessons, she taught me breaststroke, freestyle, and backstroke. More importantly, Nicole completely changed the way I feel about swimming. I used to be afraid of the water, but she helped me feel safe, relaxed, and confident. Now I actually look forward to swimming. Nicole is incredibly patient, encouraging, and excellent at explaining things in a way that is easy to understand. I never imagined I could make so much progress in such a short time. Thank you, Nicole!

We got to go on a kayak adventure (he was wearing a life jacket) in some pretty choppy seas and he loved it! Thank you for bringing a love of water to our family! Updated: we came back to sunsational for another set of lessons to build by sons swim strength even further. We're loving our time with his new instructor, Bella! She is such a patient, encouraging, and specific swim teacher. She was worked so well with Connor and he's grown so fast. He is now a very strong and confident swimmer who I can feel safe letting him play and have fun in the pool or the ocean. Thanks Bella!

It took us a minute to find the right instructor, but once we met Andrew it was apparent my son was in good hands. Andrew (or "Coach", as my son likes to call him) understands my son's sensory needs and ADHD and uses that knowledge to keep him simultaneously safe, engaged, happy, and progressing as a swimmer. Andrew always has something positive to say about my kiddos progress while also noting areas that he wants to see improve/work on over the next series of lessons. My son likes to know what's on the agenda for each day and when it's a swim day he always whispers a little "yes!" to himself. I know that joy and confidence comes from the fantastic work that Andrew puts into each lesson. My kid looks forward to being at swim because he looks forward to being in the water, and especially, spending 20 minutes with Coach Andrew. Waterworks is a happy, inclusive space, and if you get to schedule your lessons with Andrew your kiddo will be just as happy and safe as mine. Cannot recommend Waterworks enough -- most especially if you get Andrew.

A friend recommended Blue Buoy, and I am SO glad we gave it a try. From the very first trial class with Coach Turner, my daughter felt comfortable and safe. She usually hates putting her head in the water, but with his gentle guidance and encouragement, she did it without hesitation--something I never thought I'd see so soon! We've now been coming for 2 months, and the progress she has made is incredible. Not only has her confidence grown, but her skills in the water have improved so much. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. The environment feels warm and supportive, which makes all the difference. Coach turner really knows how to work with the kiddos ! If you're looking for a swim school that builds trust, confidence, and real results, Blue Buoy is the place to go. I'm so thankful we found them!

I would like to share a review for Coach Makai and Coach Jason. Coach Makai teaches my older son, Raghav, who has ADHD and struggles with focus. Coach Makai patiently explains every move and stroke to each child, ensuring they always know what to do next. He has been an amazing coach to Raghav, and I always try to book his classes regardless of the time. Coach Jason teaches my three-year-old, Sohum. He does so much to make each class fun and exciting, from guiding them through putting their goggles on, to dunking down with the kick sticks, and ending with an epic high five. Both coaches deserve five stars for their incredible work. Pallavi

She was very kind and graceful as I navigated the app and many schedules of the household over the phone. She thoroughly explained the current promo they have going on right now and ultimately got us all signed up for what we needed. We had our free trial class with Chris last week and I was so pleased with how friendly, soft-spoken, and patient he was with my son. My son didn't even want to go into the water for the first 10 min of the 30 min class, and Chris just continued to ask if he was ready, all the while still holding lesson and staying attentive to the other child who was in the same class. Eventually, my kiddo felt confident enough to join in and by the end of the session he was having an absolute blast. We are looking forward to continuing our swim journey here with this crew!

The instructors are great but the techniques and length of swim time aren't very helpful. I called to cancel my lesson on September 2nd because I didn't feel I was learning anything but they said I was supposed to call by the 25th of August to cancel. Although apparently it's in the policy I am miffed that they won't refund me the money because I was a couple days late even though hadn't used their time yet. Long story short not a good place for adults to learn how to swim and their policies are outdated IMO. @Jen B Six classes and I still don't know how to swim a credit to a place where I haven't learned much seems useless. A suggestion for you to help everyone is to send a reminder email letting the customer know that renewal is coming so they can reply letting you know they won't be renewing. Thank you

Before my son (who just turned 2) started the program he had no fear of the water and would try to jump in the water with absolutely NO idea how to swim. Which as a parent was terrifying. I knew I needed help. Traditional swimming lessons weren't working, if anything it was making things much worse by accentuating his love of water with a false sense of security. Peter and his program changed everything!!! By the end of the FIRST day with his training, my son was swimming to the side of the pool. His life saving techniques and true water safety program is nothing you have ever seen. If you want your child to be truly safe in the water, look no further. Call him today and see for yourself!!!

I guarantee you've never seen anything like this. It's hard to watch the first time, but the results speak for themselves. After being initially scared, by the end of the first day my kids couldn't wait for their turn, and they would brag to everyone at their daycare that they are going to swimming lessons with Professor Pete. If your kids are stubborn or try to circumvent the instructions, Peter won't let them get away with it to save you the headache of correcting bad habits in the future. By the end of the program, your kids will forget about the hard part, and you will have videos of the swimming sessions as proof that you are not exaggerating when you tell people that your kids started swimming on the first day. The total program lasts four days, but you can finish it in three days if your kids are fast learners. You can tell Peter is passionate about his work and knows more about human psychology than your average swimming instructor. He will teach you all kinds of fascinating information about the way the mind actually works, instead of how you assume it works, so his teaching method will make sense in the end, despite seeming counter-intuitive at first glance. I am thoroughly impressed with Peter and want other people to experience the same thing that I experienced. The only downside to all this is that my kids make me go to the pool all the time now. This program will give you pride in your kids.
