It took us a minute to find the right instructor, but once we met Andrew it was apparent my son was in good hands. Andrew (or "Coach", as my son likes to call him) understands my son's sensory needs and ADHD and uses that knowledge to keep him simultaneously safe, engaged, happy, and progressing as a swimmer. Andrew always has something positive to say about my kiddos progress while also noting areas that he wants to see improve/work on over the next series of lessons. My son likes to know what's on the agenda for each day and when it's a swim day he always whispers a little "yes!" to himself. I know that joy and confidence comes from the fantastic work that Andrew puts into each lesson. My kid looks forward to being at swim because he looks forward to being in the water, and especially, spending 20 minutes with Coach Andrew. Waterworks is a happy, inclusive space, and if you get to schedule your lessons with Andrew your kiddo will be just as happy and safe as mine. Cannot recommend Waterworks enough -- most especially if you get Andrew.

Coach Makai patiently explains every move and stroke to each child, ensuring they always know what to do next. He has been an amazing coach to Raghav, and I always try to book his classes regardless of the time. Coach Jason teaches my three-year-old, Sohum. He does so much to make each class fun and exciting, from guiding them through putting their goggles on, to dunking down with the kick sticks, and ending with an epic high five. He is getting better by every visit, and is laser-focused, and it certainly helps to be indoors especially during the fall and winter months. We recommend British Swim School at this particular location, due to the level of support we receive and facility and amenities (easy rinse-off after the swim lesson). The first day we took her, I'm not going to lie I was a little concerned because, it was her first day and she was with two other kids that had been going for a while based on them knowing the instructors already. The instructor right away started dunking her into the water and to be honest, that caught me and my little girl off guard. When class ended, I decided to give the instructor the benefit of the doubt because he knew what he was doing. We kept taking her and explained how she had never been in swimming or anything, her instructor Joss is amazing. She builds rapport with the kiddos right away and at least in our experience, she changed my mind about taking her any more. And my daughter now actually loves going. The facility is always clean and well maintained, and the bathrooms are consistently kept in great condition. There are also vending machines conveniently located in the main lobby for snacks and drinks throughout the day. She was very kind and graceful as I navigated the app and many schedules of the household over the phone. She thoroughly explained the current promo they have going on right now and ultimately got us all signed up for what we needed. We had our free trial class with Chris last week and I was so pleased with how friendly, soft-spoken, and patient he was with my son. My son didn't even want to go into the water for the first 10 min of the 30 min class, and Chris just continued to ask if he was ready, all the while still holding lesson and staying attentive to the other child who was in the same class. Eventually, my kiddo felt confident enough to join in and by the end of the session he was having an absolute blast. We are looking forward to continuing our swim journey here with this crew!

The instructors are great but the techniques and length of swim time aren't very helpful. I called to cancel my lesson on September 2nd because I didn't feel I was learning anything but they said I was supposed to call by the 25th of August to cancel. Although apparently it's in the policy I am miffed that they won't refund me the money because I was a couple days late even though hadn't used their time yet. Long story short not a good place for adults to learn how to swim and their policies are outdated IMO. @Jen B Six classes and I still don't know how to swim a credit to a place where I haven't learned much seems useless. A suggestion for you to help everyone is to send a reminder email letting the customer know that renewal is coming so they can reply letting you know they won't be renewing. Thank you
