Coach Nav and Cory after his last swim class

My son, Cory (5yo), was at the tail end of needing a floaty to be in the pool when we came to Coach Nav's private lessons. He had always been comfortable in the water, which was a good sign, but I never could quite get him to use the proper strokes and positions while swimming. It's amazing how well our kids will listen to anyone but their own parents, but Nav built such a positive and playful relationship with Cory that the 30 minutes looked like so much fun. After only two lessons, Cory was swimming across the pool while alternating on his belly and his back. For the remainder of the 10 lessons, they played games that involved diving and changing positions, learning the dolphin kick to prep for the butterfly, regulating breathing patterns, and practicing what to do if you accidentally fall into a body of water. My son is confidently swimming without any flotation device after one session, and it's all thanks to Nav's teaching method and experience. We'll be back for my daughter next year! Thank you so much.

On the day of the party, Laly stepped in and kept everything running smoothly. She organized the flow, supported the kids, and created a fun atmosphere from the moment we arrived. Fay, Tim, and Colin brought great energy and helped the kids stay engaged and excited. We chose the 2-4 ft pool and it worked perfectly for our group. Our guests ranged from 2 years old to 11 and every child found something fun to do. The team led age appropriate games and the kids loved every minute. We booked a 2.5 hour party and the timing felt just right. Music played throughout the event and the party room sat right next to the pool, which kept the whole celebration lively and convenient. The staff even helped us load and unload our supplies, which made the day feel even easier. Waterworks Aquatics gave our family a memorable celebration and our birthday boy still talks about it with a huge smile. I recommend this location and this team without hesitation.

After a really negative experience at…read moreanother swim program (Aquatots), my daughter was left scared and resistant to getting in the water. A friend recommended Blue Buoy, and I am SO glad we gave it a try. From the very first trial class with Coach Turner, my daughter felt comfortable and safe. She usually hates putting her head in the water, but with his gentle guidance and encouragement, she did it without hesitation--something I never thought I'd see so soon! We've now been coming for 2 months, and the progress she has made is incredible. Not only has her confidence grown, but her skills in the water have improved so much. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. The environment feels warm and supportive, which makes all the difference. Coach turner really knows how to work with the kiddos ! If you're looking for a swim school that builds trust, confidence, and real results, Blue Buoy is the place to go. I'm so thankful we found them!

Brought our Nephew here for a trial small beginner group class on a Saturday. Went great, the…read moreinstructor was amazing and the nephew loved it. Went to sign up for another class, however we were told by scheduling after the fact that the trial class was not just a trial class but a tested/assessment class (we were never disclosed that prior), fine no worries. Then we're told our nephew has been assessed to be a beginner - level 1 (which is fine that's what we signed him up for beginner lesson group class). Then we're told the instructor only teaches level-4 swimmers on Saturdays and teaches beginners during the week during extremely rough times for traffic and such. We end up saying fine, we'll make it work and we sign up for the more difficult time for the beginner small group class, we'll accomodate. The weekday class goes great...We get a call the next day to pay for a long term session (which we intended to do anyway) and then they tell us that the instructor claims our nephew insteads needs more costly private lessons rather than small group lessons. At this point the whole situation has become comical. As you can read and detail above. It seems very much like a bait and switch tactic...sign up for an great timed trial class, have your swimmer bond with an instructor and then get told your little swimmer was actually tested and needs to be put either with a different instructor or the same instructor at a difficult time slot...then once you agree to that they then decide your little swimmer needs much more expensive private lessons instead of the group lessons you signed up for. Mind you we made it very clear during all interactions that we're pretty tight on budget and that seems to have been lost on them. Overall they have solid instrutors and a nice facility but it seems there's a lot of underlining bait and switch tactics happening at the back office which makes us no longer want to go here which is sad because our nephew was bonding with the instructor.

My son loves the water but is still learning to swim. I liked that there was a swim team and water polo potential here, so was excited to schedule lessons to start. I scheduled two lessons the following week with one of their coaches, Adam. Adam called 35 minutes before the lesson was scheduled to begin (on their books over a week) and informed me he could not do a lesson today because the pool was closed. After the lesson had already been confirmed by their office two hours before. He then called back 10 minutes later saying he can now do the lesson if it still worked. Um, so you mean you lied and the pool was not suddenly closed? We canceled remaining lessons and requested a refund. No one ever contacted us to try to make things right or offer another lesson/solution. We just got an auto refund. The whole process of booking was flawed and required a ton of follow up on our part to begin with. This should have been a sign. All contact was through email which I find frustrating. A dialogue, clearly dated these days, is much more effective and efficient. Terrible experience!
