A few friends/neighbors also recommended Blue Buoy. Great communication from the start. It has been almost a year now and my girls look forward to their swim lesson every week (and getting their sticker at the end of their lessons). Their instructors are patient and kind and make my girls feel comfortable and safe in the water.

A friend recommended Blue Buoy, and I am SO glad we gave it a try. From the very first trial class with Coach Turner, my daughter felt comfortable and safe. She usually hates putting her head in the water, but with his gentle guidance and encouragement, she did it without hesitation--something I never thought I'd see so soon! We've now been coming for 2 months, and the progress she has made is incredible. Not only has her confidence grown, but her skills in the water have improved so much. The staff is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. The environment feels warm and supportive, which makes all the difference. Coach turner really knows how to work with the kiddos ! If you're looking for a swim school that builds trust, confidence, and real results, Blue Buoy is the place to go. I'm so thankful we found them!

I had an incident at this location in May 2025 that has stayed with me ever since…read more During my daughter's swim lesson, the instructor was supervising three children. At the same time, a sales representative was speaking with me about membership options. While talking, I repeatedly looked over at my daughter and eventually realized I could no longer see her head above the water. I immediately got up to check on her and found her struggling and gasping for air. What was most concerning was that the instructor never acknowledged what had happened or spoke to me about it afterward. Instead, a staff member simply showed my daughter how to spit the water out. As a parent, that response felt dismissive given how serious the situation could have been. Drownings can happen quickly and silently. Had I assumed my child was being adequately watched and not continued checking on her myself, I don't even want to think about what could have happened. I later spoke with Tanner regarding the incident, but at no point did I receive an apology or any acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation. I am sharing this review to encourage parents to remain vigilant, even when their children are in a supervised lesson. While parents should absolutely pay attention to their children, a swim school also has a responsibility to actively supervise the children in its care. Sometimes the most dangerous moments happen when everyone assumes someone else is watching.
