She quickly identify any issues when it happens and helped her fixed it right away and master it with her feet, legs, hands, and arms movement. Jocelyn waste no time in teaching Ashlyn once she's in the pool. Because of Jocelynn, Ashlyn is in level 10 and is about to pass the level. As levels are higher it gets harder. Before she would get really tired for swimming without stopping and not she has no problem swimming all the way to the end of her lesson which is two lessons every time I booked her and that would be 40 minutes, 20 minutes each lesson. I see a lot of improvement as weeks goes by and can't believed what my 8 year old daughter can do that even her parents can't do under water especially with diving, spinning and turning, breaststroke, etc. Thanks Jocelynn you're the best.

He is a wonderful addition to the Watersafe team. We will always be thankful for the invaluable lessons he's teaching our son. Can't say enough about how clean the facility is - staff is constantly keeping things clean and organized. Alex is the person we see most and he is just always so polite and attentive. We have had an incredible experience doing the fast track with ms Ginny. It is everyday mon-thurs for 1 month. My almost 5 year old son has done 5 months of fast track and my 2 year old is on her 3rd month. Their progress has been amazing. Ginny is a true gift and a one of a kind teacher. Water safety is really important to us and watching how much both my kids progressed in such a short amount of time has been remarkable, if you can get into fast track with Ginny it is so worth it. The pricing is reasonable, especially since it's thirty minute sessions versus only 20 mins at other spots. The teacher she had last year (Daniella) gave her the confidence she lost during at the other school. This year, I signed her up for all four sessions as soon as I was able to! During our first session, at the minnow level, we met Dannie, who was amazing!! She is kind and patient, and very encouraging. I took my daughter to wild rivers after the first week/session and it was great seeing how confident my daughter was in the water, and seeing her apply what she learned. My daughter is now in her second session and has expressed she wants to request for Dannie in her third session starting next week! As a testament to GWC and Dannie, I posted videos of my daughter on my social media page each day of that first session with Dannie. Teddi herself is willing to get into the pool if the need arises so that each child is allowed to progress at a pace that is comfortable. One thing that I think adds to the rate of success is the size of the pool; a normal backyard sized pool. The teachers are gentle yet firm and very experienced. The focus is safety and confidence in the water. We chose to enroll for 4 weeks but only completed 3 because I felt my children were confident and safe enough for me to handle on my own. I called Miss Teddi. She recommended that I go through the website and register for this summer only swimming classes that run till August 1st or 2nd week. She mentioned that it would take 1 to 2 weeks for kids to learn swimming. So, I had it bookmarked. I went through the motions in May, registered Ian for the week of June 25th with an option to continue the week of July 9th. About the school: Their website is well organized, the email correspondence, text correspondence and any other interactions with Teddi Bear staff (Instructors Christina, Alicia and Teddi) is very clear. Class is $150.00/week. Deposit of $75.00 is due prior to classes commencing. They accept e-payments. Due to the deposit, first week's balance of $75.00 is due on the Monday of the class week. Upcoming week's payment is due on Thursday if your kid is continuing on. About the setup: The pool where the swimming classes happen is in the backyard of a house. There is a yard sign in the front lawn. The big RV in the parkway is also cant miss. There is abundant street parking. You let yourself into the backyard, close the gate behind you, sign the waiver form at the table, pay your fee balance, take a seat and wait for your class slot to begin. There is a changing station in the backyard. There appears to be a bathroom inside the backyard garage. I opted for the 4-4:30 PM slot the first week as Ian also has Taekwondo at 6 PM couple of days a week. There were 6 kids per class. The first week it was Miss Christina and Miss Alicia doing all the training. Miss Teddi joined for a few minutes couple of times. The 2nd week it was Miss Christina and Miss Teddi doing most of the training. About the lessons: At any given time there are 2 instructors in the pool. After the initial 5 minute "warm up" instructors usually split up with each instructor surrounded by 3 kids. The first week was about getting familiar with water, balancing in the water and general use of legs, etc. The 2nd week was freestyle swimming, breathing, etc. Miss Christina is very vocal, encouraging kids with positive words of encouragement, holding the kids with utmost care, pointing out the aspects of swimming that are important, etc. There were kids who were crying Monday and Tuesday, but by Wednesday they were getting used to the swim lessons. The lessons being only 30 minutes long is helpful. Ian was out of breath couple of times. Instructors are definitely pacing the session keeping this in mind. All said and done Ian can swim freestyle after 10 days of swim classes. I am so proud of my son as he went from being afraid of being underwater to embracing the concept of swimming. I have to thank Teddi Bear Swim School as they were instrumental in making this transformation happen. I definitely recommend signing up your young kids to learn swimming here. As long as your child can swim independently and are familiar with a few different swim strokes, they are allowed to join. I have found these classes to be a great way to strengthen their swimming skills and getting them used to drills in the water. Beginner classes are 1 hour long on T/Th from 5-6pm and your kid will get a great workout! They also learn how to move their legs to swim in place, how to swim holding the ball, pass the ball, score and block. When they have enough skill they can move on to the next level, which is M/T/Th from 5-6:30pm. My son has loved this year-round team; even in the winter he is excited to show up. From my observations, these swim sports help children develop some serious grit; rain or shine, they go in the water ready to practice. The coaches have been great too (shout out to coach Jake! And the others too, I just haven't learned their names). They RARELY cancel practice, unless there are thunderstorms. And the absolute best part of this club: canceling/starting a subscription is SUPER easy. As long as you give them notice in a timely manner, they just pause/restart your subscription without penalties or tricks like a lot of other places do. I highly recommend!

I asked her if it was a one on one ratio for student to instructor- it's not, it's a group (no problem to me) - I asked her how many student and she would not give me an answer. She said she doesnt know yet. Many kids going back to school etc.. I asked what the maximum amount of kids is per instructor. This is where I walked out - she said "why do I have to explain to you?" I said nope, we are done and left. She is rude and does care for children safety. If she did, she would have happily explained the details to me and ensured my child would be safe. I now see why this place has bad reviews. Do not take your children here. Hope this helps someone.
