Incredible swim lessons with Sophia! My brother has severe autism and he absolutely loves his lessons with Sophia. Sophia has been able to get my brother to do SO many things in the pool that no one in our family was able to do or even thought he was capable of doing. Sophia has been able to teach him all sorts of water skills and improve his swimming way beyond our hopes. She has been great at communicating with him and being the perfect amount of hands on since he does have some sensory issues. Each lesson my brother is almost jumping in the pool he is so excited. All Waves Aquatics is great! We started our son when he was almost 5 years ago and are so thrilled with the skills that he learned in those few months we were there. He was always hesitant around the water but his coach really helped him get comfortable. Mr. Myles was so great with him each and every lesson. Covering everything from safety basics, diving, floating on his back and yelling for help, kicking, breast stroke and always incorporating a little fun. During our lessons we were able to witness other lessons and every instructor was always so caring and professional towards each student. Student varied from infant to 6+ years. So glad I found this place for lessons. It is by far the best value for one on one swim lessons. I'll never go back to aquatots. Coach Matt has been great and my daughter loves going to class. He has been very patient and is adept at keeping my 4 year old on task. My daughter has progressed greatly after just a few lessons. Lessons are only on weekends but if you need to skip a week no big deal and you aren't charged. I would highly recommend all waves aquatics! read more

Best swim school around hand's down. Mr. Myles is so wonderful and flexible with the kids. He is able to change gears and accommodate many personalities. My son is busy to say the least. Mr. Myles was able to get my child to focus on the task of swimming by altering the way he interacted with my son on my son's level. This helped immensely. Wow. I'm so so impressed with Amber and her business. She's an incredibly talented and effective child swim coach. A career child swim coach. The best I've ever seen and I've been around swimming my whole life. Her method and system is incredible. Our kids Were screaming criers. My little girl Maddy has been going to this class a couple weeks and she's improved significantly. She was previously afraid of putting her head under water and nervous to float on her back. My 4 year old daughter started here with absolutely no swimming experience due to Covid restrictions, and in her first few lessons she was unable to understand the concept of holding her breath. Within 6 months, she's progressed to the point of learning how to swim and float on her back, swim and pop up, and now side breathing, but has gained a ton of confidence in the water. Myles has been absolutely great, he's very patient and masterful at teaching young ones skills from scratch. We have and would recommend him to anyone! read more

First off... My instructor Amber was so great and honest that she told me the first 30 minutes is for free to try out. She even lend me a bathing suit to use today. Wow I love this place. I found this on yelp and thought I try it out. My instructor Amber is so nice and had a lot of patience with me. I was honest with her about my limited experience in swimming and how long it was when I last swam or got a lesson. She listened to all my concerns and adjusted it to it. I'm surprised how much I've learned in just an hour. She went from basic breathing techniques to stokes and floating. What I like about her most is that she adjust to my situation and payed attention to my every move... Making it easy for her to critique me on my mistakes which lead to me being able to do most of what she taught me. When I'm hesitant or think I'm doing a bad job she reassures me otherwise. Result: I've learned so much from her because she critiques me and is calms me down when I need it. Her critiquing technique sounds like a firm suggestion... Not mean or harsh... Very friendly which just makes you want to listen to her. She is a great swimming instructor to have. I hope she has room for me in the near future. It's so hard to get in her class... :( I want to be a regular here. Everyone should definitely try this place out. They teach children and adults. read more

Our son started here when he was 4.5 and has had lessons with Ms. Sophie. She is great at pushing him to try his best and always has a fun cannon toss or rodeo at the end which he loved. Heated pool all year around allowed him to have continuous lessons. Our son is able to swim without water wings now and we have some piece of mind around pools. Amber is super flexible when we had vacations and didn't make us pay or try to schedule a makeup lesson unless we wanted to. If we needed to change hours (once in a great while )she tried to make it work by asking other families if they would be willing to switch times which was nice of her to do. Pricing was great for getting a 30min 1:1 lesson and we hopefully plan on getting our youngest once he is a little older in. Thanks so much! read more

Amazing instructors! My daughter was in need of some stroke practice while her swim team is on a break, so after trying Goldenwest College and not loving it for her, I headed to my trusty Yelp. In just the first lesson, I could seen improvement. The teachers are in the water with the students the whole time, which is essential for my girl. So my son needed to improve his swimming in order to join junior lifeguards. I called Amanda and she was able to fit me into her schedule sooner rather than later. She helped my boy to really increase his speed and he was able to make it into jr. Guards. He had a great time during his lessons and enjoyed his instructors attention. I would recommend anyone who needs swimming lessons to Amanda. She is kind and patient and really takes time with the child to ensure they learn and enjoy their lessons. Miss Amber is an excellent swim instructor. She answered my call the first time I tried to get a hold of her and worked with me to find a weekly time slot for my 5 year old daughter to learn to swim. Each week Miss Amber built upon the previous week's skills with my daughter and I saw improvement each time. My daughter absolutely loved every minute of her swim lessons and asked daily, "Is today a swimming lesson day?" After two months of lessons my daughter is fully able to swim. I took an adult swim lesson with Myles, and it was fantastic, exactly what I needed. I had to take a hiatus from lap swimming when I no longer lived near a pool. Now that I have easy access to a pool again, I wanted to make sure that I was not doing anything that would cause an injury and I wanted to improve some of my technique. A one-hour lesson with Myles was exactly what I needed. He quickly assessed my level of skill, listened carefully and patiently while we discussed my goals, gave me clear instructions to improve my technique with demonstrations when needed, and provided me with a series of drills so that I could continue improving on my own. He was so kind and patient I felt completely comfortable the entire lesson and could not have been happier with the relaxed and welcoming learning environment. I know that, like most swim instructors, they focus mostly on teaching children to swim, but if you are an adult looking to improve your technique or learn new strokes, I cannot recommend this place more highly. read more

Amber is the best! My 3.5 year old son is a little timid and cautious so I was nervous that it would take him a while to feel comfortable in the water. From his very first lesson he was at ease and confident with Amber. She is able to move the kiddos from one activity to the next helping them learn water safety and swim techniques while having fun. After only 6 or 7 lessons our son is able to fall in the water, roll onto his back, kick to the steps, then turn around and swim to the edge. He is confident and more safe in the water every time! I can't say enough about how great both amber & crystal are! My daughter is very shy, but she immediately bonded with them & trusted them.
