They both moved up in levels within a few months and I'm happy with the pace of their progress. All of the teachers are so great with kids and truly are dedicated to teaching kids how to swim. While I have heard some feedback from others that their pace isn't fast enough, I really think it's dependent on the swimmer's dedication. We made sure that our kids practiced on their own outside of their classes and incorporated the teacher's feedback each time. As a result, our kids have increased their swimming skills significantly. We are very thankful for their staff and dedication in teaching kids this important skill. Also, they have an app that makes it easy to schedule, cancel or reschedule classes. And each time we've called for a question or schedule conflict, the staff have always been so nice and patient. This location in Garden Grove will be at the corner of Gilbert and Chapman. Of all the swimming schools I've called, British Swimming School was the most reasonable. Not just with their pricing, but also their locations and their schedules. The fact that the staff is just so kind is definitely an extra, added bonus. We've been going to this school since they were in Fullerton, and they've always been great. My daughter started with Mr Nori and he's one of her favorite instructors. She's gone through a few instructors and we've never had a bad experience. My son now attends the school too. This morning, my daughter had a make up class and had to go into a different swim lane with a new teacher. She's been apprehensive about leaving her current school and starting kinder next year, and the emotions came out today. She started crying and holding onto me when she saw the new lane and instructor and said she doesn't want new things. Within seconds, Mr Scott came over and began comforting her asking if she'd like to see her other instructor Mayumi. Mayumi wasn't even dressed to go in the water, but rolled up her jeans and sat in another lane with her. Mr Nori came by to say hi and comfort her, and Mr Christopher gave her a private lesson for a few minutes while she adjusted. He eventually asked her if she wanted to join him in the new lane with the new instructor, and she said yes and was happy the rest of the time. Mayumi also came back to check on her. This is the level of care any parent looks for in a school and I highly recommend coming here.

It may still have the outdated 80s-style interior, but it's still a grand and beautiful swim center. The swim center holds children and adults swimming lessons and recreational swimming, and lap swimming for adults. It is also home to the Cerritos Aquatic Club and the local high school swim teams. Check the Cerritos website for days and times for recreational and lap swimming. The locker room is spacious. Whenever I come here for lap swimming, I try to avoid using the showers because the water temperature can be finicky (constantly changing from hot to cold and cold to hot).

He is a wonderful addition to the Watersafe team. We will always be thankful for the invaluable lessons he's teaching our son. Can't say enough about how clean the facility is - staff is constantly keeping things clean and organized. Alex is the person we see most and he is just always so polite and attentive. We have had an incredible experience doing the fast track with ms Ginny. It is everyday mon-thurs for 1 month. My almost 5 year old son has done 5 months of fast track and my 2 year old is on her 3rd month. Their progress has been amazing. Ginny is a true gift and a one of a kind teacher. Water safety is really important to us and watching how much both my kids progressed in such a short amount of time has been remarkable, if you can get into fast track with Ginny it is so worth it. Both of my kids absolutely adore her and she really goes above be and beyond!! Also wanted to note the front desk staff is always willing to help and is friendly, texting them is so easy!
