Great local place with wide range of sauces and heat, big wings, fried well, and just good local place.

The place was small and cozy like. So we decided to dine in. I love the fact that everything is cooked to order, hot and fresh. I was skeptical because they had no lemon pepper seasoning. I know I know there are other flavors and I've tried plenty. I just always go back to good ol faithful lemon pepper. So we ordered the medium party pack. Which consisted of wings and tenders, and basket of loaded fries. Kenn got a Dr. pepper to go with it all. We heard the sauces were bomb. We got classic range, honey chipotle bbq, blue cheese dressings. Everything was delicious and we enjoyed ourselves... the chicken was crispy like I like it and the tenders oh my was delicious. We will be back.

It's another to have consistently good fries, sauces, and homemade pickles to pair?? The flavor profile of the sauce and thin, but crunchy dill pickle complimented the chicken nicely. You can find chicken tenders almost anywhere, but Cluck's brings out the best in the otherwise simple dish.

Staff is super nice, and it felt calm but casual hanging out here for a bit. Plenty of seating but also easy to take orders to-go, which I'd imagine is common. The chicken was DELICIOUS! Perfectly fried (or whatever they do to it) and coated in lots of spicy sauce. Love that I didn't have to deal with bones. Rice Cakes are always tasty, but I like when they're "saucier" instead of "soupier" if that makes sense. Probably wouldn't order that again but still good. Overall would come back!

We ordered cheese monster special with wings and the snow onion original with drumsticks. Pretty good amount of food for the price. Chicken came out piping hot and crispy. We enjoyed both flavors. The snow onion was slightly sweet and delicious. The flavor of the cheese monster was also so good! We definitely prefer the chicken here over other Korean fried chicken spots. They gave us some pickled radish and it's definitely some of the best I've tried. It is on the sweeter side so that's probably why. Service was great. The lady that helped us was friendly and accommodating. There is a pretty decent amount of places to sit. Most tables have a couch to be used as seating. If you haven't been, definitely go. We really enjoyed it here.

I really try to give restaurants the benefit of the doubt. We've visited Golden Flame several times…read morespecifically because they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer and gluten-free sauces--something that's hard to find. But after being disappointed more than three times, it's clear a review is overdue. Each visit has had a different issue, which is why we kept giving them another chance. But last night was the final straw. My husband and I eat out more than we cook, and Golden Flame had been a convenient option. One night, we arrived at 8:08 p.m., well before their 9 p.m. weekday closing time. I told the employee I'm Celiac and require gluten-free. She warned me it would take longer because they had already shut down the gluten-free fryer. I said that was fine--we'd wait. The restaurant was still busy, with sports on the TVs, and people who arrived at 8:30 got their food before us. When I finally asked for an update, she said the fryer had to be started back up. Our food didn't arrive until 8:50, and by then the staff was actively closing down the restaurant--cleaning, sweeping, spraying tables--right next to us while we tried to eat. The smell of chemicals and dust was so overwhelming we left half our food behind. Next time, to avoid being "inconvenient," we ordered takeout. The fries were ice-cold and the wings were oddly chewy--even though we live less than five minutes away. Then about a month ago, we showed up at 8:20, only to be told again that the gluten-free fryer was "off for the night." The dining room was still active, with multiple families eating, so it wasn't a slow night--they simply didn't want to turn it back on. We gave them yet another chance last night. I walked in at 7:56 p.m., more than an hour before closing, and the first thing I did was ask if gluten-free was available. The employee checked and said, "Yeah, it's off. It'll be at least 20 minutes before we can cook anything." At that point, I didn't even bother ordering. At this point, it's obvious Golden Flame doesn't want the business--at least not from anyone who needs gluten-free accommodations, despite advertising them. There's another wing place in town with a designated fryer, better sauce options, way better fries, and staff who aren't more excited to go home than serve customers. I'll gladly drive the extra 10 minutes for food--and service--that's worth it.
