I made an appointment through their website to have a friend's car serviced. The guy looks at me and says, "Make and Model." I said, "I don't know off-hand, it should be in the information that my friend filled out." I know that it was, I was there when she filled it out. He never looked. He just says (staring at me) "Make and Model." I say, "It's right there outside the window. Take a peak at the vehicle. Take a look at the paperwork! Questionable business at best fraud at worst Wife dropped off the car for an oil change and tire rotation and $250 and over half a day later we got it back. They claimed the lug nuts were swollen. They told her all 4 tires were off the car and she couldn't leave until they fixed it. If that's true why have we not had a problem in 5 years of getting the car serviced? Why were the lug nuts not damaged when removing them? Why did they keep removing them if they knew it was an issue? Why do they charge $7.99 per lug nut when you can get a pack of 4 for $9.99 at retail? What if she couldn't pay for the extra work? Too many unknown answers and when my wife asked they shook their heads like she was stupid. Such fraud and sexism. They created a larger problem than necessary and left her stranded with our son. Sounds like an amazing business model that I'm sure is embraced from corporate down to the store level. I'd stay away, far away! read more

Spent over $1000 just 10 months ago at the store when it was under completely different management than it is now. Four new tires, oil change, rotation..... not a bad experience overall. Now 20,000 miles later, rear tires almost completely bald with an 85,000 mile warranty, so expect to get two new tires. New front desk girl gave me such an attitude over the phone, was so condescending, it was unbelievable, as if this was my fault. I have never encountered such rudeness in customer service, and whatever this new management is that they are under, it's horrible! I drop my vehicle here for maintenance all the time. They do a bit of everything. I had to replace all the sensors on my tires and they were $250 cheaper than the dealer. They are fairly quick about getting you in to service your vehicle and I especially like that I can make appointments online for service. I definitely recommend them. read more

Details that will make the review make more sense: it was my second flat tire in a month. The spare I keep in my car is a standard tire so that I don't have to rush to get it replaced. When the second flat happened, I aired it up enough to get to the tire place. The other three tires on my car had nothing wrong with them and the other flat was in the trunk. I took my car in to get a flat tire replaced on a Friday. The person behind the counter didn't ask me any questions before he took my keys and went outside to look at it. It took him three minutes to figure out which car was mine. He came in and guessed which tire I needed replaced. I told him that the tire he referred to didn't need replaced, it was just on an odd rim, and I told him exactly which tire was flat. He said they would need to keep it overnight. When they finally called me on Sunday afternoon and I went to leave with my car, I noticed that the spare was back in my trunk. I figured that they had repaired one flat and fixed the other. I drove to Illinois to visit my mom the next week. As I was driving through Virginia, one of my tires blew out. I changed it to the spare and drove the rest of the way. My usual tire guy looked at it and noticed that they had NEVER REPLACED THE ORIGINAL FLAT. They just replaced the tire they originally assumed needed replaced even though I told him exactly which one needed fixed. Their complete disregard of my request almost caused a serious accident. I've been going here for years. I've always been happy with the service but today was exceptional. I had purchased my tires elsewhere and was having a lot of road noise. I scheduled and appt and was taken right on time. The mechanic Larry took it for a drive and then was kind enough to take me in the garage and show me the problem . Unfortunately it was something a full service shop would need to repair. As a woman you are particularly conscious that you may be taken advantage of in matters such as these and it's so refreshing to find a place you can trust and is willing to explain things and treat you as an equal. Today was not a good day for Just Tires to do what they did this morning. With that said, I wish I could give this place of business a -100 but unfortunately, I can't. Went to Just Tires in Clayton NC off of 70, 1404 Executive Drive Clayton, NC early this morning (9 am) only to get a tired patched. There was one guy at the counter and 1 person including myself in line. The employee was working on entering information in the computer and 1. did not acknowledge me...2. Continued to enter information in the computer for well over 10 minutes. He was taking his sweet little time looking back and forth at paperwork, basically focusing on what he was doing prior to me coming in the building. I couldn't believe this employee ignored me as if I was a ghost! After about 15 minutes he finally say very low can I help you, as if he didn't want to talk to or help me. I told him I needed my tire patched he proceeds to say can you leave your car?? I said no he then say, well if you wait it'll be about 2-3 hours before we can even get to your car? I asked him WHY?? And he said that there were 3 cars ahead of me.... mind you there was only 1 person waiting in the waiting area on her car and I drove around the bay area prior to walking in and saw 2 open areas with no cars. Instantly I figured this guy was being a racist because I am in Johnston County, and they are horrible out here as far as race is concerned. I asked him where the manager was, and he instantly said he was the manager which I know was a complete LIE!!! No manager can be so rude and disrespectful to a customer so I knew he was just saying that so I could leave. I was so mad and heated I just couldn't believe that just happened, first thing in the morning, I wasn't up for the games, so I walked out. Went around the corner to Clayton Tire and Muffler center walked in asked if I could be helped gave my information along with keys the owner took my information and within 10-15 minutes my car was ready!!! They talked to me joked with me and made me feel really comfortable not to mention they were way cheaper Just tires was charging $40 for a patch and Clayton Tire and Muffler was charging me $17. All I can say is Clayton Tire and Muffler gained a customer. Just tires lost one! With that all said, don't waste your time going to Just Tires!!!!! I brought my car here for an oil change. The car was running fine. They called trying to sell me new rotors (which did not need to be replaced), new brake pads (which did), and a new cabin air filter (which was just replaced). After the less than 5 mile drive home, 5 error codes came up that have made my car undrivable. After my husband called to confront them, they basically said they didn't care and always try to sell new things, even without checking (such as the rotors and cabin filter). Would not recommend using this store. read more

Whew! That went wayyyy too easy. The General Manager was super friendly and veryyy knowledgable of tires available. He worked with my limited budget and helped our family by providing a great tire for a great price. I called around for months all over Raleigh, Garner, Knightdale and he beat everyone's cost. Did you know Just Tires is a subsidiary of Goodyear? They are managed and owned by Goodyear; top notch service here. I don't give great reviews easily, especially since I didn't have the best experience at the Just Tires in Knightdale years back. Apparently they've made big changes at that store since my last visit. Definitely give SCOTT a call and tell him you saw my review. They had my four new tires and alignment checked in under a hour with tons of customers there. We took the opportunity to grab lunch next door at Bojangle's. Way to go SCOTT! I had an appointment for 1 PM in Clayton, NC. I dropped my car off early (11 PM) in hopes they could get to it sooner. They were not able to get to it--no biggie because I was not scheduled for an earlier time. However, it took until 3 PM (two hours past my scheduled time) for them to finally change my oil and check the alignment of my tires. Keep in mind I did NOT have them do the alignment. It should NEVER take 2 hours to change oil on a scheduled vehicle. I will NOT be using their services in the future. read more

I got a flat tire on the freeway so I was driving on a spare. I went in to Just Tires to have my tire replaced and they didn't have it in stock so I had to wait. That's understandable so it was no big deal. The only downside is that they forgot to call me when it came in so I eventually called and they told me it had come in a few days ago. I really liked the waiting area, I was nervous about waiting in a dingy lobby with my toddler in tow. But this lobby was anything but dingy. She was able to walk around and touch things without me feeling nervous and I even got to catch an episode of the price is right while I waited. Bonus! Had a 10:00 appointment. (they opened at 9:00 so I figured it wouldn't take to long. He asked if I could leave the car. i told him that I would but needed it back at 11am. He said no problem and would call me when it was ready. I did some other shopoing and called him at 11:15. He said it would be ready in 20 minutes. My wife dropped me off and it was another hour before my oil change was complete. I was not happy that it took over 2 hours to complete tge oil change. Thats a reason I made the appointment. Sent my son there to get his oil changed and Chris spoke to him like he was a 2 year old and he didn't believe he was there to get his oil changed. They never rotated his tires when asked and had the truck all day. When we called to see why they didn't rotate we got no straight answer. Scheduled an appointment for 9 am to have tires rotated and get there and they don't have us in system and won't do them. Had to go back a third time and get them done. They didn't apologize and still charged full price. My husband had brakes and rotors done 6 months ago and was told he needed brakes and rotors again. I've been here a couple times, and I have finally learned my lesson. This is the worst car/tire service place that I have ever been to. Each visit takes MUCH longer than it should. The first time was to get tires checked and they assure me that I can pick the car up by noon...nope, I arrive at noon and am kept waiting hours longer. The next visit was to get the tire repaired and replaced from a nail. Same situation. I made an appointment this time hoping it was better, but nothing was better. They tell me it should be ready at a certain time and then take HOURS longer to finish. The final visit was the last straw. I took my car there to get tires rotated and the oil changed. I made an appointment at noon and dropped it off. They said it would be ready for pickup by the end of the day. At the end of the day they call and tell me that they can't finish because the oil filter isn't in stock...despite the guy checking on the phone when I originally made the appointment and assuring me that it was in stock. I finally pick up the car 24 hours later and my check engine light goes on later that day. When I check the receipt I find out that they used the wrong type of oil (not manufacturer...the type was wrong). This place is so bad that I am not even going back to ask for a refund or asking for them to fix it. I just want nothing to do with them ever again. Absolutely ridiculous. read more

Last time I went for an oil change, I had made an appointment for 1 and customers were walking in, also for an oil change (no appointment) and they were leaving before me. I had called my Dad while I was outside waiting and told him the price they said it would be because of something with my oil. Damaged my Vehicle and denied doing it. On 8/18/15 I took my 2011 Highlander to this Just Tires store located in Clayton,NC to get a tire balance & rotation. They raised my hood, they said to check my fluids. It appears they did not return the hood prop rod to its holder, but tried to shut my hood. This bent my hood and left ding marks on the hood. Had a 12:30 appointment to have a tire patched that had a nail. Went to lunch and came back an hour later and hadn't even looked at it yet. They finally got to it about 3 hours after my scheduled appointment and said they couldn't patch and tried to scam me into a new tire. Took it to Clayton Tire and they said no problem patching it. Clayton Tire had it patched and back in road in 30 minutes. Just Tires is not timely and is dishonest. read more

I had scheduled my appointment online last week for new tires, alignment check, and an oil change to take place on 1/08/2016. I called the shop because I had questions regarding the promotion of $100 off orders $500+ or $25 off orders $50+. The receptionist informed me that promotion included the product and price of the services. She also informed me that the tires I had selected were discontinued (your website failed to mention that). Regardless, she was able to find tires in your system that would work and she drafted a new order for me that stayed near my budget. I arrived the next day to drop my car off for it to be serviced, we reviewed my order again in person just to confirm everything including the promotion. That's when Scott informed the receptionist and myself that what she told me about the promotion was incorrect and that it only included the price of the product which is what I had initially presumed. I was a little annoyed by that fact but I was still in my budget so I agreed to proceed and then I went home. Approximately 30-45 minutes pass and I receive a call from Scott who proceeds to inform me that your outdated system (his words) provided the wrong size tire and that they did not have the tires I needed. Now at this point I'm a little frustrated but I fully understand that these things happen. He checks around and tells me that he can have all the tires delivered by next Monday morning and that I could drop my car off again at 5pm that day. I understand that I have a rare tire size (215/40R18) which would probably need to be ordered from any location so I agree to this workaround and we reschedule. I arrive back at the shop to pay for my oil change and I confirmed with Scott again, in person, regarding my Monday appointment. Monday arrives and I go in after work again to drop off my car. From what transpired next, I felt like I had walked into that shop for the first time. The receptionist who assisted me last week had no knowledge of the tires being ordered. I watched her for 30 minutes scramble around trying to find anything that would show my tires had been ordered. She even had all of the shop workers check the truck that had just unloaded and the rest of the inventory but they were not found. She contacted the warehouse they were supposed to come from and they confirmed they were not delivered. When I learn of this, she proceeds to inform me that she can order them for arrival tomorrow. At this point I tell her to cancel the order because I was already promised they would arrive once. And I was promised more than once. I do not do business with people who cannot keep their word. Now I will say, I was never disrespected nor was the staff rude to me. They were genuinely nice to me, however, the lack of professionalism and communication was greater than I could ignore therefore I will be taking my business elsewhere. This was my first experience with a Just Tires shop and I say in full confidence that it will be my last. It does not stop there though. I want it to be known that not only have you lost my business and future business but you have lost other business as well. I have shared this story with many people already and they too agree that I was treated with very low professionalism and that they will not be conducting business with Just Tires in the future either, regardless of location. I understand mistakes happen, but I will not stand for such unprofessional care. I've been a loyal customer since I bought my current car in 2013 and my husband who never used Just Tires was so pleased with the service I received during the 4 years he's moved all of our service and tire needs for 4 vehicles to this merchant. This visit was terribly disappointing! I went in for an oil change and received a call at work saying I needed a new tires, new break pads, new rotors and my break lines needed to be flushed. The first thing I asked about the warranty on the tires, they were 60,000 miles and I had put on 42,000 and when I asked about the warranty he said I needed to call someone else, even though they sold me the tires they don't assist their customers with the warranty because they weren't Goodyear. Perhaps they should have told us that when we paid nearly $1000.00 to them for these tires. I took my car to a professional on the other side of town because I was concerned about all the other issues he brought up this is what I was told. A car with 90k miles doesn't need to have the breaks flushed. The break pads are safe, while they do show wear they are not in need of replacement at this time. The rotors look okay and that while he sees some wear there were no groves and were not too thin. Oh and the left front tire that had "No Measurable Tread" , the middle was worn but my question with that is since I always get my tires serviced on my 5,000 mile oil change why would the tire be inflated so much as to wear the middle of the tire so quickly. When I called the customer service line the gentleman who I spoke with offered to relay the information to their district manager who would be calling me.
