I'm normally not a "Yelp" person, but I think this experience warranted a very pleasant and great review in which most people actually read this comments. I will start off by saying that I did not reference this website nor any reviews for tint shops when shopping around this afternoon. I had just recently purchased a 2001 Honda CR-V EX which prompted me to tint the windows as soon as I could get them (I've always had tints on my vehicles). I live in Columbia, MD and started calling places like; Performance Window Tinting, T & A detailing, then HPR Customs. Two of these places didn't even answer the phone calls. HPR answered then quoted me $265 for their tint services and may take up to three hours before getting mine. As anyone as particular as me, I like to hear/believe my car is special and will be the first they touch and will get me out in no time. Having said that I phoned a friend who had recently got their vehicle tinted. I asked him for the name of the business and without reviewing them, I just called. I called ahead to ask some questions. Melanie answered promptly, as I gave her all my information, I received a quote of $255. I asked how soon could it be done if I were to come within the hour and was told they'll be ready. Be mindful this was at least a 20 mile trip to get windows tinted in Silver Spring, MD. In my mind, I'm hoping it'll be speedy and not the full two hours. As I arrived, Melanie greeted warmly and inquired how much tint percentage I would like. She was very helpful, friendly, and highly sociable. She advised me on placing darker tint on the rear since SUVs do not require to pass. I made the decision on basis of her knowledge and did not regret it. Most shops don't allow you to be in the same area as the vehicle being worked on. I used to be a technician at a gas station, it could be annoying if you were inspecting every inch over the person's shoulder. I didn't feel like I was pesky in their environment. Peyton is very sociable and intellectual as well. My conversations will them truly shows they're definitely down to earth people. I couldn't have had a better experience / conversation while my vehicle was being worked on. It's sad to see this place have one star reviews, I hope other Yelpers use my example of why sometimes not reading some people's hurtful reviews can be a positive. Too many people are looking for freebies and handouts, but won't pay the cost of experience and skill. They didn't damage my car in any way or form as I literally watched them install from three feet away from the car. I can't see how they could even possibly damage a car in any way since all they use are squeegees and flat plastic tools. My car is fresh, but not brand new, and still consider their work professional. When you go to see Peyton or Melanie @ Just Tint, just let them know where you read the review. They'll take good care of you. Be mindful every car is different with the form or shape, it may take time. I have been getting my vehicles tinted by Just Tint as long as i can remember... I am very picky about who i let work on my car but this company has got to be one of the best in Maryland. From the second you walk through the door they make you feel like family. The customer service is number 1 by far the staff is very knowledgeable about the products and services they provide. I wasn't too sure about the tint laws and information and the staff made sure they made me aware of everything before any work was done to my vehicle... I left my vehicle in the trust of the staff and I have never went anywhere since. I have owned many cars over the years and i must say anyone who appreciates their vehicle as much as i do and are as picky as i am this is the place you need to go..great work at an affordable price that cant be beat. I went back and got the remote start put in my car. They took my car, and introduced me to the guy who would be doing the instillation. When my car was ready they gave me a call to come and pick it up. When i went to pick it up they spent time with me going over how to use the remote and the "do's" and "don'ts" of the device. They showed me hands on how to use it, and then they let me do it so I could get a feel for how it really works ( its never the same as when you are just watching someone else do it). I did a few times and decided that I was good. I paid them and drove off a happy customer. ( now the only bad part about the cold mornings to work is the walk to my car. lol) I was very happy with my service, as always very professional and friendly. They even told me that if I had any other questions about the remote start, that I could call them directly or I could read up on it with the information that came with the device. I came here from a reference from my buddy with a corvette with my bmw coupe and got a really good deal! The tint job was so fast and painless! Also the guy was very pleasant and professional to deal with. The tint was very high quality and I'm very picky since I am a car enthusiast! Peyton is very passionate and takes pride in his work and backs his work with ease(which is rare to find in this area) that I decided to take my subaru sti, bmw m3, and my wife's scion xb to get tinted and couldn't be happier with the results! I had a great experience at Just Tint. They did everything exactly they way I had hoped. They were very professional and friendly, knew what they were doing, answered all of my questions, and made me feel confident about the choice in tint shade that I was getting. Just had my tints done by the BEST PLACE IN THE DMV. They do an AWESOME job love my tints. The people are very friendly upfront and honest. The prices are good as well they are willing to answer any questions for you I also like the fact that all their rules are written in black and white and they have signs posted as well (very detailed). Just Tint is a small Silver Spring business that I would highly recommend. Payton was professional as well as personable. I followed his short term tint rules and long term care guidelines and have no problems after 4 months.
