I had the drunken noodles and they were great! Yummy food and clean place. Seemed to be small staff operated so wait was a little longer but well worth the wait. Friendly staff, especially since we had our 3 kiddos with us. They seem to do lots of business as take out since the dining room was pretty quiet, but the kitchen was definitely busy. We started out with some fried spring rolls, which were very crispy and tasty with some delicious sweet and sour sauce. For the entrees, we shared Gang Masaman and sauteed fried chicken with cashews. Both were delicious, and the rice was very good. We had the rotee (fried flat bread with ice cream, ovaltine, sugar, and sweetened condensed milk), and it was incredibly good. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. The restaurant itself isn't amazing to look at, but don't let that fool you. The food is well worth it. Definitely going back for more. I love thai food and used to frequent chili thai regularly and really liked their food. BUT THEN i had Just Thai and it is the best thai in columbus! My boyfriend told me about it and when we got there it has a very bright lime green inside which i thought was tacky and i kinda judged it (my bad). After we ordered we were served soup which was delicious and then our curries. I got the green curry and was blown away! My boyfriend was equally impressed and this is now the place we go for our thai fix. I hope that this review will push others to go because the food is worth it:) The little things matter and even though this is a small family owned restaurant they have flavor and hospitality that gives it an edge over their competition. read more

We decided to give this new Thai restaurant a try after being disappointed by the Thai food at another well known place. First off, we love Thai food! If you do too, this is the place to be. The food was fresh, made to order, spicy and delicious. We ordered thai iced tea, soda, the fried spring roll appetizer, drunken noodles and panang curry. We left full and paid under $40 with tip included. The restaurant is very cozy and quiet and the owners were attentive and friendly. I liked the ginger tea and the small soup that came with my meal, I disliked everything else. The biggest disappointment was the green curry. While it wasn't terrible tasting, it was filled with awkwardly undercooked grean beans and overcooked chicken, leaving a terrible texture sensation. The worst part is that the 'curry' didn't taste like curry at all. At best, it tasted like really really watered down soup. While this isn't the most flavorless green curry I've had (that honor goes to the genuinely terrible 'fast food thai' places of Los Angeles), it feels like it's definitely still in the running to try to compete. The flavors it did have had nothing to do with curry and more to do with soup (and a mildly flavored soup at that). Despite enjoying the ginger tea, I would never want to come back here to eat. If someone dragged me, I'd come back and just get the tea. read more

I ordered stir fry finger with chicken and the flavor was SO yummy. It was exactly what I wanted and so full of flavor. My bf got the stir fry basil with shrimp and his was also really flavorful. I ordered the Drunken Noodles prepared with glass noodles and beef and shrimp as my protein. the spice level was just the way I like it - 3 x SPICY!! My qualms were that the Thai coffee was way too sweet and the business had a young child (maybe 6) that was running around making lots of noise and being distracting. Was looking for some Pad Thai and thought I would give this place a try. I live in Atlanta and was just visiting the area for the week so my tastes might be a bit more eclectic. Take that for what its worth. The restaurant was extremely clean and the server at the counter was very friendly. I found the Pad Thai to be a bit sweet, but tasty none the less. If I were to go again, I would ask then to add a little more spice to it. We also ordered the pineapple fried rice. I had never had it before and thought I would give it a try based on other yelp recommendations. I enjoyed it for the most part, however, I thought it had too much of a hint of chicken broth in the rice. Visiting from Atlanta on Memorial Day Weekend for a soccer tournament. Granted it was empty except for one other family, but the service was prompt and the food was really good. The first time I came, I had the Drunken Noodles, and it was great. The second time, I had the Pad Thai, and it was delicious. The third time, I had the green curry fried rice (r5), and that was it! Hidden gem of Phenix City/Columbus - amazing drunken noodles! I get one serving to eat and always one to take home, since I'm from out of town.
