After years of looking at my dead and weed ridden yard I was finally able to pull the trigger on sod. I made a few online inquiries and Jason was the first to reply. He was at my house that afternoon measuring, discussing sprinkler upgrades and provided me a quote on site. I received a few other quotes, but felt Jason was the most genuine and offered a very competitive price. After a few add on modifications to the quote an install date was set. Jason and crew showed up on time and finished the job in one day, even with my added sprinkler repair...thanks Chris! All in all I'm extremely happy with the finished product and highly recommend Just Sod. Great family owned business! read more

Highly recommend Just Sod! After 17 yrs in our home our front lawn started to die. Jason was incredibly responsive and after three estimates to remove and replace the grass, we chose Just Sod based upon Jason's detail and additional input on sprinkler heads, soil makeup, grading etc. responded very quickly via Yelp, was here the next day to do bid and installed the following week. His crew was awesome!!! They worked very quickly and it was 100 degrees the day of the work. Professional, quality work and our yard looks incredible. Thank you to Jason and his team.... very well done! read more

"Just sod" = "just dicks" We called last Friday to schedule an appointment for a quote... we scheduled an appointment for Tuesday at 1:00pm... 2:00pm rolls around and I have not heard from them. My appointment was not added to the schedule and we re-arranged our whole day to be home at a specific time for them... in addition to this one man specifically who accompanied the woman who measured our backyard was extremely rude. When he gave us their price or quote, which might I add was 1,000s of dollars above other quotes we had received and we made this known to him said, "well have a good day" and left. Who conducts business like that? Terrible experience. Would not recommend them for future use! Poor poor customer service and extremely over priced... $2500 for 300 square feet of sod and a revision of a working sprinkler line... fuck off! read more

These guys have a heart of gold! Love their work ethic and care for their customers. They go above and beyond.

Just Sod did our yard last summer and, this summer, much of it has died. We reached out to offer Just Sod additional work and to ask about the dead grass. After saying they'd get back to us with an estimate for several weeks, they finally responded by saying they weren't going to provide an estimate. Apparently, Just Sod isn't interested in guaranteeing their work product or maintaining their clients' satisfaction. read more

I had a very bad experience with a Sod Installer and I called Just Sod. They were very helpful and did not try to take advantage of me. They walked me through my issue and offered productive solutions. I will definitely use them on my next sod project. read more

Great team. They were very prompt and easy to work with. Crew came out and removed the old sod, leveled and amended the soil and laid all the new sod. Instant yard. The sod had a bunch of thistle weeds in ti and Julio and I walked around and picked them out but Jason called me directly and took 200$ off for the weeds and apologized. Any company can give you a good deal but to stand by the job and make it right if there is an issue to me is the real judge, hence my 5 stars. read more

The Just Sod crew did a great job. They arrived on time and completed all the work much earlier than expected. They were diligent about cleaning up and left our new yard looking better than ever. read more

We hired Just Sod to re-work out backyard sprinklers, put our drip lines on their own irrigation zone, and replace dead grass patches with new sod. From the first step of receiving a quote to the last step of service completion, we were impressed with their professionalism, communication and quality of work. We felt that their price was fair and they did such a great job! They also stand by their work; we noticed a patch of grass that wasn't getting adequate water, so they came back the very next night and added another sprinkler head at no additional cost. We are very happy with Just Sod and would definitely recommend them! We will reach out to them in the future if we need additional sod/irrigation work. read more

Shoddy workmanship. Left a mess. Rock and trash all over the yard. Said they don't clean up Never again

I am so glad that we chose to work with Just Sod! Our yard was neglected when we bought the house, and Jason worked with us to figure out which areas could be revitalized and which areas needed new sod. He also made landscaping recommendations for installing rock in several areas and moving sprinkler heads to get the most out of our sprinkler system. He was patient with us and answered all of our questions and came out to our property multiple times. His team was incredibly efficient and were able to complete our project quickly. Just Sod was truly a pleasure to work with and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Thank you! read more

Just Sod was honestly amazing and did a fantastic job! They were a very professional and their communication was excellent. Jessica, Casey, and the rest of the team have been my favorite vendors to work with so far during my home remodel. This is the second time that I have used Just Sod. Both times I have been extremely happy with the work completed and the excellent service. Jason keeps you informed throughout the process and his crews are excellent. There is a definite sense of satisfaction on their part for a job well done. I had artificial turf installed in my backyard due to the fact we have two (2) dogs. Wish we had thought to do it sooner. Looks great and easy to maintain. read more

I highly recommend this company! We wanted to install sod in our backyard after several years of just having dirt and weeds. We ordered three pallets of sod after doing a ton of work to prepare the area. Laying down the sod ourselves was tedious but we were very excited at the prospect of having a lawn again. Two of the pallets ended up being kind of dried out and not really viable so we were really disappointed but when we called the company, they came out and remove the old sod and replaced it with new at no cost to us. We were blown away at how accommodating and professional they were! Our lawn is now green and lush and thriving and we couldn't be happier! These guys rock! read more

These guys we fantastic, we had a small sod job that needed to be done in two weeks and they added us to the list of jobs they could do if their schedule allowed. Within about a week they gave us a call and came in same day to do a lovely job of putting new sod in. I highly recommend using Just Sod we only had a pleasant experience. Thanks guys! read more

Called Jason and his team for a second project after doing our back yard initially. Arrived on time and got to work at 8:00am. Appreciate the hard work and the ease working with them. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommend using Just Sod! They were quick to come out and give us a quote, and then got us scheduled the next week! Their crew was amazing - a dozen guys showed up and knocked it out in less than 3 hours. We had another verbal price quote that was a bit less, but Just Sod's on-line quote tool outlined the scope of the job, giving us confidence they heard what we wanted, and knew what to deliver. And they DID DELIVER! Site manager handled so many details - testing sprinklers before they started any work, ensuring he understood what areas were to be scraped and replaced and that it matched his work order. Then giving us instructions about how to care for our new sod. Great experience with Just Sod! read more

We had a great experience working with Jason at Just Sod! After calling several sod companies to inquire into the per sf. cost of sod, delivery, install options, and availability we found Just Sod to be competitively priced and very responsive to our specific needs. He was at our house measuring the space and started the 1500 st ft. project later that day - excellent customer service! The following day, they worked quickly yet thoughtfully and completed the project, it's beautiful! Very friendly and appreciative team that I would highly recommend. read more

Sod installed 4/1/19. Called a week later with concerns of spacing between the pieces of sod as this was not discussed when quoted or before installation. I felt insulted when I was told the grass "shrinks" as I've had many years of experience with sod installation/replacement & have NEVER heard such an excuse. In addition to the spacing, the sod cutting was not done very well as the old grass & weeds are popping up in the spaces of sod. I wondered why it did not come in a roll vs sod. There are pieces that were 90% weeds from the date of installation & lastly, the yard was never "rolled" & I have high pieces/low pieces that hold water & very uneven surface. Some pieces are up quite a bit higher than the rest. I don't know if they were having a bad day because their staff "called out" or if this is their way of business, but I would not use this company or recommend them. read more

These are the hardest working bunch of guys I've ever seen. They didn't stop until the job was done perfectly. Thank you!

Just Sod sets the standard for excellence in customer service all the way around and their sod product is outstanding. I needed my front and back yard lawn replaced with new sod and from the first conversation on the phone to the installment, they were amazing to work with! They were on time for all the appointments, answered all my questions about properly taking care of the lawn, and programmed the sprinkler system. They fixed several sprinkler heads and when I offered to pay for the repairs, they said it was complementary. Jason, Lauren, and Jessica and their crew are reliable, knowledgeable, and top notch professionals. Their prices were better than the other bids I received - and their service was exceptional! I highly recommend working with Just Sod - they value their customers and are committed to providing top quality work! Thank you so much for making the lawns look lush and beautiful! read more

One year after install, my yard still looks great...all 5500 sq ft. Jason and his crew are the best.

We've lived in our house for 20 years, and the grass in our back yard was dead from dogs and rabbits. I found Just Sod on Yelp, and left a message for Justin on Wednesday afternoon at 3:00. He called me at 6:00 that evening, arrived by 6:30, and sent me an estimate by 9:00 the same night. The work was originally scheduled for Saturday (2 days later), but had to be rescheduled for the following Thursday due to snow. They came on Thursday promptly at 8:00, installed sod on two terraces, 4-5 tons of rock around our patio, a Breeze pathway, and a temporary fence to keep our dog off the sod. They were very organized, finished by 5:00, and cleaned up when they were done. They did everything we expected them to do, and everything looks great. I will also add here that my husband is a general contractor with high expectations. Jason and the Just Sod crew met his expectations, and we are both very happy with the quality of their work. read more

Jason went above and beyond! We were able to get a delivery same day within a few hours and he went above and beyond to help us make sure we did it properly and assisted us in that process. He was very thorough and his people did an amazing job. We would not have completed the project on time without his help. read more

These guys were terrific. It starts at the top with the owner Jason who is absolutely committed to customer satisfaction. He worked with me on several delays related to the installation of a sprinkler system. Very flexible, very committed to doing a great job and the final result was perfection. I would not hesitate to recommend Just Sod to anyone interested in getting the job done the right way the first time. read more

Amazing job. 3 weeks after sod was laid and my yard looks perfect. The crew was courteous and knowledgeable. Here is the important part to me.....they were extremely responsive and helpful AFTER they put my sod in. Twice they sent a worker to help me get my sprinklers perfect after the fact. I can't recommend Just Sod enough. read more

Absolutely wonderful experience working with these guys! Jason and the crew lead, Dave, were amazing to work with. They pulled off a miracle for us doing our whole front and back yard with only one day of notice so we could quickly sell our house. They showed up on time, worked as hard as is humanly possible, stayed within the agreed upon rate, and finished every detail. They fixed our sprinkler system while they were at it too! Dave really went the extra mile taking time to teach us about our plumbing, sprinkler system, and about how to take better care of our lawn. Our place looked like a whole different house. They cleaned everything up before they left and were very professional. We are sooo happy these guys came through for us! Highly recommended. read more

Just Sod worked with my partner and I to install sod and sprinklers in our backyard, which was previously a dirt heap. Jason's team worked in the rain all day to do the prep work. This included dealing with the complexity of old-house plumbing to install the sprinklers, and a fair amount of grading. The whole team was polite, and communicative. When they ran out of time, they returned in 36 hours--when the sod delivery of other customers permitted, and on a Saturday no less--to finish the job in the sunshine. We now have a backyard that is more beautiful than we ever thought possible. The scope of this job - preparation, installation of sod and sprinklers over 1,400 square feet - meant that it wasn't cheap, but Just Sod's quote was competitive, and it was great to get everything done in one go with one company. They are also highly knowledgeable and Jason made it clear that if any issues arise with the grass, we can reach back out for an assessment. Highly recommend! read more

Jason at Just Sod recently put new sod in my front yard. He was very fair and competitive with his price. His customer service was exceptional! He was extremely responsive and kept me apprised every step of the way. He texted me pictures during the resodding process. Jason discovered issues with my sprinkler system and got his sprinkler contact over right away to make the repairs immediately. He gave me step by step instructions afterwards and offered to come by at no charge if there were any issues. I highly recommend Just Sod! -Melissa read more
