Avo came next day after I inquired yesterday evening about a leak. He did quick math to figure how bad the leak must be based on my Flume report. Arrived right on time at 9:00 am and found the leak at 10:30 am after checking all locations to make sure no other sources of water loss. Dug up the area and recommendation that I relayed to the plumber, made the plumber's job extremely easy for a 30 minute repair. Very fair pricing $350 if intermediate leak was found or $150 for standard appliance leak or no leak found. Super honest, sweet guy and delivered results! read more

Didn't get to work w/ Avo because he was booked... Quoted the best price of all the leak detection companies I called -- and I called about 8-10 companies. Based on my conversations with him the reviews are legit. He truly seems like an honest guy. He'd be my first call in the future. Hope to not have to make that call but if so... I'd do so confidently and without checking with anyone else. read more

Mr. Avo is a great example of a human being and a professional who simply wants to help his neighbors even if it does not cost the customer anything. I had a water leak alert that the Flume app kept bugging me about for days. Finally I looked up on yelp for leak detection services and found Avo whom I texted and he replied immediately. After explaining the situation to him, he just walked me through every possible scenario and we found the problem. He spent a total of 30 minutes on the phone trouble shooting and instructing me how to fix the issue. And he did not charge me 1 cent! If he would've come out, it would've easily cost few hundred bucks and most businesses would've done just that. But not Mr. Avo and I'm truly grateful to him for that. I will be recommending him to all my friends and family from now onwards. No question about it. Thank you very much Mr. Avo God bless you. read more

All the reviews on here and on Google are accurate and on point. I had Avo from Just Leak Detection come to my house to find a mysterious irrigation leak in my garden. He systematically reviewed the situation and was able to find the leak in what I felt was less than 5 minutes. I appreciate his friendly and calm demeanor, and his willingness to explain to me everything that he was doing, and even showed my the tools he was using to confirm where the defect was located. He was extremely responsive and we were able to arrange a time that worked better than the original scheduled appointment. You can trust that he is honest, and at the end of the task he made sure that I was satisfied with the work done. This is the ONLY company you need to call for any leak detection you need. Extremely satisfied, thank you!! read more

We have a large property and there was a leak issue for months. Our pool man and gardener both tried to remedy the issue, but to no avail. I contacted Just Leak Detection and Avo came out the next morning. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable and best of all he found multiple leaks. Problem(s) solved thanks to Avo! I would definitely recommend Just Leak Detection! read more

Needed to call on Avo again and once again, he came through for me. Worth every penny. I was so frustrated as I couldn't figure out the source of the leak. Avo found the problem underground. An issue underground that I would never have found myself. There's a reason Avo's reviews are as glowing as they are. He genuinely cares about his customers. The bigger the challenge, the more Avo shines. I wouldn't count on anyone else. Thank you again, Avo. read more

I contacted Just Leak Detection on a Sunday (Father's Day in fact) and got a prompt call back from Avo who was thankfully able to squeeze me in the next morning. Avo was kind, took the time to explain things, and checked the areas I had concerns may be leaking. He correctly diagnosed that the source of the leak was actually coming internally from my HVAC system instead of from a pipe in the slab or walls. Since he did not need to locate a leaking pipe, Avo only charged me the minimum service fee. His prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend Avo for your leak detection needs. read more

Liam M's review is on the mark. Avo came to my house and went through the process of checking all possible leak sources before telling me he had isolated the leak to my two toilets. He then explained what was happening to cause the leak in both toilets and went on to demonstrate how one of my toilets was leaking and its impact on the water meter. He told me what had to be done to stop the leaks. Great professional service. read more

Avo doesn't need yet another 5 star review because clearly he is already at the top of his profession. But when you get service of this high quality you have to shout it out. He spent an entire sunday afternoon with me, on the phone, helping me trouble shoot a leak, because he was away and unable to show up in person. And I had to beg him to accept money. That just doesn't happen anymore. read more

Avo is the best and most honest contractor I have worked with since moving to Los Angeles. He was up front about what he may or may not find and originally didn't want to take the job as he thought he'd just be taking my money without any real information. We eventually connected again and he was able to come out and find what he could, but the most important thing he did was give me advice and an action plan moving forward. He is communicative, honest and fairly priced. I'd happily work with Avo again and will recommend him to all my friends needing work. 500 stars. read more

Ok, I just called and spoke to Avo! If I needed to use this company, I WOULD! He gave me great advice and said that I didn't need a leak detection and told me exactly what I needed to do to fix the problem. What a gem of a human being. He said he didn't want to charge me money, if he knew that wasn't the problem. Being a single woman & living alone, it happens all too often that I am given the run around. I appreciate Avon's honesty and help so much! Thank you!!!! read more

This is a very important review. PLEASE READ. My wife heard a drip in the wall over the weekend. I was out of town, and she called a leak detection specialist, and they came by saying we have a significant leak. The guy was showing us a meter where water was collecting. We were being told could cost thousands and even over 10k. But, I saw no signs of water damage. I read the reviews on Avo and thought I need a second opinion. On the initial call he told me a few things over the phone to check as he did not want to waste my money. Eventually the drip continued, and he came by within an hour or so of my call. He did a very thorough inspection and confirmed my suspicions that there is no moisture anywhere. Nothing!!! He discovered we have a recirculating pump that evidently can cause expansion and contraction slightly in the hot pipe leading to the dripping sound. Best money I ever spent. Avo is completely honest and at the top of his field in expertise. I would go to him first line. if you already went to somebody else you better call him for a second opinion. read more

Expert service from a polite and honest professional who prides himself on precision! Avo arrived quickly, provided a clear written estimate which exactly matched his phone estimate, and his expertise was obvious as he rapidly narrowed down the location. Avo correctly determined that it was close but not underneath... his attention to detail saved us cutting into concrete! read more

If you have a leak, forget about calling anyone but Avo! Not only does he know his business like no one else, but he has analytical common sense that is rare. He goes beyond finding your leak but also gives you THE BEST fix for the leak. He saved at least $1000 by figuring out a way to reattach our outdoor fireplace gas line without digging out a wall and moving the fireplace, which would take 8 men. Truly amazing!!!!! read more

Avo is the absolute best and we are grateful that people take time to leave reviews on Yelp, as this is how we found him. We found water on top of the concrete in our backyard and right away suspected an underground leak. While calling couple of companies, I found Avo's contact and was impressed on how pleasant and knowledgeable he was. As many mentioned before, he showed up right on time and was able quickly and accurately determine the issue. Avo is a true professional, and a superb person. We recommend Avo and his company to anyone who needs help finding leaks on the property. read more

Just spent 15 minutes on the phone with Avo. Our bill for water service had been high even when we were away from home for several weeks. It's true LADWP keeps raising their rates, but just to make sure we didn't have a large leak somewhere on our property, we searched online for a leak-detector service and found JUST LEAK DETECTION listed online. Avo answered our call promptly, and since he was in the area he was able to come the same day we called. He was very courteous, professional and thorough -- explaining every reading he took and making sure we understood the implications. He found a few areas of concern but no significant leaks. It was a great relief to learn this house is still functioning properly. We highly recommend this company -- and especially the services of Avo! read more

Avo found a leak inside our kitchen as well as in our backyard pool area. He was punctual, extremely professional and you could tell he was very experienced in what he does. He explains to you exactly where the leak is coming from and shows you on his equipment/device so you know exactly what is going on. Extremely fast and responsive and just an all around good person! I would highly recommend him! Thank you Avo! read more

I got an email from LVUWD stating that there is continuous water usage. And then my bill doubled. But I could not find the leak. I was able to make an appointment for him to come out the very next morning. He was very responsive and communicated very well. He came and it took him merely 15 minutes to find the leak. But that's not all. He was half the price of the other competitors that I had consulted with. He's very fair and very honest. After he was done and noticed that it was a leak coming from the pool he asked to do a follow up with my Pool Man and came out at no charge to figure out the problem. We are now looking for a pool leak that will take a week and he has been in contact with me and has offered to come back again after the next week. This was all for one price and doesn't charge anything extra. Avo is very honest and will not take it advantage of you. I highly recommend! read more

Avo is very thorough, knowledgeable and honest! Great service.

Extremely knowledgeable and professional. Polite, on time and up front with findings and opinions.

We had a major leak but couldn't figure out where was coming from. I needed someone right away because our plumber had no idea where the source of the leak was. I called Just Leak Detection and he was at my house within two hours. He asked some questions and then went to work. It was a very interesting process how he was able to identify it. A great job for anyone who likes detective work for sure! In any case he found the source and also found a crawlspace under our dining room that I didn't know existed. His fee was very reasonable for the amount of work he put in. And he's very good at what he does. I would highly recommend this company. read more

I had an emergency water leak that I discovered first thing in the am and had no clue who to call. I saw Just Leak's good reviews and their office is close to my home so I called right away and talked to a nice gentleman, Avo. High praise to the owner of Just Leak Detection, Avo, for helping me solved a "false leak" situation. Avo was kind enough to guide me over the phone as to what could've possibly be the cause of what I thought was a water leak. Even though we found the source and I didn't need Avo to come to my house for an inspection, I would definitely use Just Leak Detection in the future. Is rare to find a service professional that would give free advice without requesting something in return. Avo insisted that I shouldn't waste my money for his service if it was not a real leak. Others would've insisted on coming out for a service call and charged me for coming out to my house (Even when it was just a false alarm). I would definitely refer Just Leak Detection to anyone because is rare to find an honest and kind service professional like Avo. read more
