A few teens may occasionally come in but most aren't. This is popular with the locals and matures. Coming here certainly makes one think about how they stay in business. It's often got an empty parking lot. Thankfully they were open when I got there. It looks like a basic family owned business. They have been running it for years. It's about $12 for the Spaghetti. This is basic and filling thankfully. Great place to get homestyle Americanized food and beyond. It's open daily unlike almost every other restaurant around here. There's basic American food that's got mediocre seasoning but people like it or whatever.

That sounded promising, and since they're under new management, we figured we'd give them another try for dinner. Big mistake. They haven't improved at all--in fact, they've gone downhill. What they served as a "New York strip" was the same thin steak you'd expect with a steak‑and‑eggs breakfast. A cigarette is probably the same thickness as the piece of meat they brought me. I ordered it medium‑rare, and it arrived with a gray center. They did offer to re‑cook it, but I wasn't about to go through that. There's simply no way to cook a steak that thin like an actual steak, so I didn't even bother letting them try again. The place was practically empty on a Friday night--just one older man and a couple tucked away in a corner. Honestly, the empty parking lot should've been our warning. Total fail. Never again.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. He was friendly and very helpful as I was obviously there for the first time. I had the brisket sandwich with coleslaw, beans, and a side of fries. There was a fair amount of brisket on the sandwich itself. So much so I was surprised it was very tasty and pretty moist. Could have been a wee bit moister. I wasn't as crazy about the beans but I think that's a matter of taste. Something in the seasoning. That being said, the fries were amazing! I'm not usually really concerned about french fries but every single one of these were crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. I also very much liked the creamy coleslaw.
