Called Byron Parker Sunday Evening and left a message telling my problem and requesting assistance. Monday morning (12/1/2025) I received a call from Rebecca who told me a man was available that morning. The man was at my door in under 20 minutes. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name but he immediately went to work on the drain system. Opening the clean out plug and using a snake he had the drain operating properly in no time. He performed some checks on the remainder of the system and noticed that the sink basket was very loose. He took it apart and using new putty reassembled it so that it no longer leaked. I was very impressed with the service provided by Byron Parker and its employees. Having worked in the plumbing department for many years in one of the Big Box stores, I recognized the skill of the man and the thoroughness of his actions. I have been a customer of Bradway Plumbing for 5 years. This morning I called requesting help with our aging mini-split a/c system and was told they would no longer provide service to us as a result of an incident that occurred last Fall when driving past the owner's house. The workers they hired were installing electrical conduit and a box truck in front of us stopped before starting again. My wife and I, with our two dogs in the car, began to proceed. I assumed it was safe to proceed. The truck suddenly stopped and the reverse lights came on, so I blew my horn, knowing they could not see us behind them. Suddenly, the two workers startied screaming at me, cursing and calling me names and verbally abusing me for proceeding. My wife and I were very shaken up by this and called the local police to report this violent behavior. I am extremely upset as well as disappointed that this company would turn their back on me as a customer. The only reason I am giving them two stars is that we have always been satisfied with their work. Knowing that this is how they operate, I would never even want to use them again. They actually should get 0 stars for treating a customer in such a way. EDIT: to be clear, I never said the workers who verbally abused us were employees of Bradway Plumbing. But it is Bradway Plumbing who we just discovered will no longer do work for us. There is no misplaced blame, other than Robert now trying to blame me. I guess he thinks we should just accept being verbally assaulted and cursed at by the people he hired to work on his house? Maybe he should have spoken to the people he hired about the incident. Anyway, I am now fully aware of the type of business owner Robert Bradway is and will happily move on.

Clog was a plunger issue and not a frozen pipe. I assume it was frozen because it was coming up in shower. Everything was rushed. Left. I ran the water and shower backed up with disgusting things again. Never checked that problem was resolved. I called right away and they came back with an attitude and plunged shower. Acted like he was doing me a favor and told me he would not charge me for return call. Really? Paid a grand and pretty much did nothing. To top it all off, did not reinstall toilet correctly so I had to deal with that. Total money grab as a result of having a machine that others do not. Never again. Would have posted review sooner. I was prompted by service in my house in New Jersey. Main line clogged. Plumber was here for close to two hours with all kinds of equipment. First, each said that as a new customer, I was a low priority and they would schedule me 2 or 3 weeks out. Give me a break. I hired a plumber from Glens Falls area who was here in a few days. I gladly paid travel costs because of the prompt service. In the end I thought the total bill might be high but I'm really not up to date on plumbing charges.
