I love the metal musician sculptures. The huge diorama by one of the entrances shows this spot in Worcester when the canal was the main source of traffic for goods. This is after all The Canal District. Today the canal is under the street just outside that door. Times they do change things. I very much appreciate these types of eating venues. Where everyone can get what they want. Sushi, Cuban, Burgers, Italian ice, Boba, Cookies. Options. For shopping you'll find a wine merchant, The Market Pantry sells loose teas, oils, spices and kitchen goods and an Irish goods store, Erin gift shop, sells beautiful Aran Island sweaters, Muckross brand hats and purses along with other Irish inspired items. A few high tops are located along one wall in a hallway toward the back. We found one larger table in a small alcove nearby the high-tops and then there is an open area at the front that hold about twenty tables or so. A microbrewery is attached to the market too. They have a really cute farm stand with lots of pumpkins and apples around this time of the year. You also have the option on going apple picking in the orchard and see how the different apples are grown. Alan, who usually doesn't take people on a tour around the orchard, showed me around and explained all their operations throughout the year. It was really eye opening to the farming industry around this region (compared to California where it never stops). Picked up some apples and cider, enjoyed the fall colors before driving through the back route where you can see the Boston skyline from quite a distance. They have good products but it's hard to support local farms when the people working there seem to not give a shit about the people walking in the door. Number one rule of sales: sell the company, sell yourself, sell the product. She didn't do any of these things. The eggnog is pretty good, really thick, I like it. But they could work on their enthusiasm for their customers, and customer service hell even a smile would have been nice.

At CHF, you will find a farm stand and a CSA as well as hiking trails, snowshoeing trails and cross-country options. A large variety of vegetables are grown here as well as some animals. The employees are always willing to take a minute to talk with you about their farming processes and life on the farm. There are many activities for children, families, and adults including young farmer programs, yoga at the farm, meet the farmer, running with the goats, farm dinners and more. It is a beautiful area not far from the center of town. The custodians of this farm understand their responsibility and take pride in enhancing the property both for now as well as future generations.
