Mangos were 99¢ to $1.39 depending on size, a full pint of blueberries were $2.99, plantains were 3/$1, 4 mini cucumbers ended up being $1, tomatoes were $2.99 where folks at other stores charge double for the same thing!! I can't quote you on all the prices accurately, but if you know your fruits and veggies the way I do, you'll notice that the prices are generally 20-50% lower than other stores. Also - FRESH dates. Yeah. My American ignorance was challenged today, folks. I'm glad. The owner gave me one to try and it was great! I'm specifically writing this review because I really really want this business to thrive. Please go visit!! Usually I get a box of Italian pastry to bring home but this was even better. I was going to pickle the cukes, but after trying a slice, they were too good to pickle. I had one sliced with organic ranch dressing from Whole Foods. I boiled the fresh corn to go along with barbecue chicken and sautéed and zucchini with butter, garlic and usual seasoning. We've all grown up on mediocre fruits and vegetables because supermarkets buy it out of season and ship stuff in. We also got the maple salt cold brews which tasted so fresh and were the perfect fall flavor, while not being too sweet. The cider donuts were classically amazing. Overall, everything was well kept, clean, and perfectly festive for fall. There was a lot to do and see and just walking the orchard was wonderful. The orchard was not picked over and had a lot of apple options despite the amount of people.

They have good products but it's hard to support local farms when the people working there seem to not give a shit about the people walking in the door. Number one rule of sales: sell the company, sell yourself, sell the product. She didn't do any of these things. The eggnog is pretty good, really thick, I like it. But they could work on their enthusiasm for their customers, and customer service hell even a smile would have been nice.
