I've spent thousands of dollars over the years outside of doctor referrals. Within less than two weeks this studio and instructors have helped my pain so much and have been so kind. I look forward to waking up and going to class. My anxiety used to be so bad I wouldn't leave my apartment out of fear of being judged or losing my parking spot. Now I can't leave it fast enough and love getting to the studio early and chatting with students or staff. I wish I didn't have to move in two months bc I have loved all the ladies I've met. I strained my shoulder on my trip and someone local referred me to Classical Pilates. I was unfamiliar with Pilates and a little apprehensive but what an awesome result! She listened intently while assessing my posture and range of motion. She intuitively guided me through some unique stretches that immediately alleviated my pain. She was able to detect and teach me how to correct my posture and other of my poor uses of body mechanics that were contributing to the pain in my shoulder. She also taught me some easy exercises I could do on my own to strengthen obscure muscles I didn't know existed that help support my rotator cuff.
