A lovely location and I enjoyed my glimpse of the water just before sweating it out in my Barre class. I've come to enjoy attending classes at VFit and find the smaller classes to be nice. Know that because of the smaller sizes, if you sign up for classes individually like I do, each class is at the premium price because of setting. $3 more than a regular mat class, not awful really.

At first glance the studio seems to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Once class began, she demonstrated and explained each move clearly. We had a small group so she regularly checked on each person to make sure our form was correct. This course turned out to be more challenging than I expected. It was recommended by the instructor to take a few beginners courses until you're more familiar and comfortable with using the megareformer. Overall it was a good workout, would definitely consider attending another class.

We always use some of the props so it's fun because you aren't just doing the same thing for an hour. I definitely feel like my arms and legs get a workout too. ~ FLOATING SHAVASANA WAS ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL ~…read more I've always wanted to try aerial yoga, and I'm so glad that my first experience was at the Aerial Studio. I booked the Intro to AIReal Yoga class through ClassPass, with Kristen O' Briant as the instructor. You can either bring your own mat or use one provided by the studio. They offer both aerial and AIReal Yoga classes that use hammocks in the practice. Our class took place in the back of the room, where a beautiful array of hammocks was set up. Kristen was an amazing instructor--she took special care of beginners, ensured we were making safe moves, and offered modifications when needed, all while providing encouragement and still challenging us. As an avid yogi, these hammocks really helped deepen my asanas, and I enjoyed this fresh approach. The highlight for me was the floating shavasana. Normally, I struggle to fully relax during the final shavasana in traditional yoga classes, but this experience was magical. Swaying gently and being cocooned in the hammocks - like a butterfly before it transforms or a baby in a womb - made it the most relaxed I've ever been during shavasana. A couple notes for the studio: during the first half of the class, there was also a children's class happening at the same time. It wasn't too disruptive but did occasionally make it hard to focus and be present. Also, dimming the lights during the final shavasana would enhance the atmosphere as well as show off the beautiful twinkle lights strung above the rafters. I highly recommend this experience and am looking forward to my next class! *HOT TIP: This was my first visit to Pacific View Mall, and I had trouble finding the studio. The studio is located inside the mall and between Old Navy and American Eagle.

Their new studio space may not have all the "bells and whistles" but there really something special about it. There is a community vibe here that I didn't feel as much elsewhere. The owners always greet me with a smile, you can tell that they are really pouring their hearts + souls into the place. They offer donation classes which is kind of amazing. I was also really excited to see that they now offer some additional class times as part of their membership (which is really reasonably priced). I've really enjoyed the 8:30 AM classes with Michelle and the 4:00PM classes as well.

I was prompted to write this review after an amazing Pilates Body Art class instructed by Victoria today. Victoria was absolutely fantastic. She was encouraging and provided helpful hints throughout, so you know she's paying attention to your form instead of just sitting up front working herself out. I've encountered several classes where the teacher puts more focus on themselves than the students. Not the case with Victoria. She endured we took breaks enough that when we went into our next set, we could push harder rather than resting in the middle. She also made sure you focus on your breathing from time to time. Love this place, and can't wait to be back.

My coworker (a fellow traveler) recommended this place. The added benefit of this place is you can sign up online and pay for classes individually or in a package. I convinced myself to sign up for AlReal Yoga. Please know I haven't done yoga in over a year and at no point did I look graceful or at all like I know what I'm doing. AlReal Yoga involves the use of a hammock to provide a deeper stretch because you get a little more stability. I thought I'd lost my mind for deciding to make that my first experience trying yoga again. Bless Belinda. She took one look at me and came over to offer reassurance. I appreciated the fact that she helped me figure out what to do during class when I floundered around with the hammock. After sweating like I'd run 3 miles and feeling like and uncoordinated oaf, I promised myself I'd come back the following week. I noticed the next day I was sore in all the right places. I ended signing up for Morning Yoga with Jami and enjoyed that also. She reassured me and I got an excellent stretch from that session. This place is ideal because they have so many options for classes. Not just yoga, but barre/spin/Pilates/fusion classes. I'm hoping to give a barre class a try and feel Okay about being a novice because the instructors seem to know how to work with the untried. A very welcoming place
