If you enjoy beach views, fresh air, and quality yoga instruction, look no further. I have primarily taken classes on the weekend, which are usually on the sand. They also teach classes on the grass in the park area (they have signs). They offer classes throughout the week and take donations for attending. You can easily sign up using the Meetup App, Yoga By the Sea also has an informative Facebook and Instagram page that provides updates, class schedule and cancellations. I get so much joy from taking Marketa and Lauren's weekend classes. The yoga flow is just right for me and I feel nice and relaxed after a class. This is a come as you are welcoming community. I have trained here for a few years and it has been great with lovely welcoming and sincere people…read morein a relaxed yet very respectful environment. For adults: The instructors vary throughout the week so there is always something new and they are attentive to each student's needs and level. You will learn to roll, protect yourself, escape or throw an attacker, weapons (sword and jo staff), etc. Most importantly to me I think is the opportunity to cultivate within a state of mental peace, strength, and agility and then try to bring that positive energy to bear on the world. For youth there is a great program with classes full of happy kids. I have two and although sometimes they say they "don't want to go today" once class starts they get really into it. I think they benefit from the mental and physical routine which makes them more physically fit, coordinated, and disciplined. I hope that this early training will help give them good exercise habits, the ability to identify and avoid oncoming danger, and other benefits they can take with them for the rest of their lives.
