At first glance the studio seems to create a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Once class began, she demonstrated and explained each move clearly. We had a small group so she regularly checked on each person to make sure our form was correct. This course turned out to be more challenging than I expected. It was recommended by the instructor to take a few beginners courses until you're more familiar and comfortable with using the megareformer. Overall it was a good workout, would definitely consider attending another class.

I'v always known that their Jiu Jitsu academy was one of a kind, but it wasn't until I had to find a new academy that I realized just how amazing it was. Not only does Fabio hire top notch professors and coaches, but he has a receptionist, and guy that comes in and cleans every night. The mats always clean, so it the locker room, the bathrooms, and even the parking lots. I couldn't recommend this place enough. If you appreciate a place that respects the art, traditions, structure, and the values of BJJ, this is the place for you. I can't wait to come visit again. Miss you all!

We started with the Bully Prevention Camp in summer then moved to the regular tots class. Coach Pablo is tough, but he's fair, kind, and incredibly generous with his knowledge. An excellent class and an amazing gym. We recently moved to Nevada and we're trying to find a comparable class. There are all sorts of Jiu Jitsu gyms, but we have yet to find one that fit us as well as Paragon in Ventura. Kudos to the teachers and coaches there.

~ FLOATING SHAVASANA WAS ABSOLUTELY MAGICAL ~…read more I've always wanted to try aerial yoga, and I'm so glad that my first experience was at the Aerial Studio. I booked the Intro to AIReal Yoga class through ClassPass, with Kristen O' Briant as the instructor. You can either bring your own mat or use one provided by the studio. They offer both aerial and AIReal Yoga classes that use hammocks in the practice. Our class took place in the back of the room, where a beautiful array of hammocks was set up. Kristen was an amazing instructor--she took special care of beginners, ensured we were making safe moves, and offered modifications when needed, all while providing encouragement and still challenging us. As an avid yogi, these hammocks really helped deepen my asanas, and I enjoyed this fresh approach. The highlight for me was the floating shavasana. Normally, I struggle to fully relax during the final shavasana in traditional yoga classes, but this experience was magical. Swaying gently and being cocooned in the hammocks - like a butterfly before it transforms or a baby in a womb - made it the most relaxed I've ever been during shavasana. A couple notes for the studio: during the first half of the class, there was also a children's class happening at the same time. It wasn't too disruptive but did occasionally make it hard to focus and be present. Also, dimming the lights during the final shavasana would enhance the atmosphere as well as show off the beautiful twinkle lights strung above the rafters. I highly recommend this experience and am looking forward to my next class! *HOT TIP: This was my first visit to Pacific View Mall, and I had trouble finding the studio. The studio is located inside the mall and between Old Navy and American Eagle.

Absolutely 100% love this place!…read more My son has been doing karate now for a few years and this year we decided to sign up the whole family (that's me, my husband and 22-yr old daughter). There is so much to love about this for kids and adults. Besides the instruction and great customer service, there is this feeling of family. Everybody supports your progress. For kids, there is a fun, playful yet disciplined learning environment. Every class has a mat chat in which topics like bullying are discussed along with how to properly introduce yourself and make a new friend. Adults, get ready to get challenged, feel empowered and lose some extra pounds. I honestly don't know why I didn't join sooner. After the first family member is signed up, there is a discount offered for each additional family member. It's a no brainer! I can go on and on, but come see for yourself! We started a trial period at a discount with no contract. Great way to see if this is right for you or your children.
