Great first experience last Friday night thanks to Club Pilates and Amy!…read more I was a first time Pilates class attendee, mid 20s male, so I was a little shy walking in at first. The lady at the front desk welcomed me in and gave me a great run down of the class, what to expect, and how to use the cubbies. Amy, the instructor, was awesome and super welcoming! I let her know it was my first time ever trying Pilates, and she took the time throughout the whole group session to watch my form and give me pointers. She was encouraging and energetic, which makes sense why her class was completely full! The session itself was fun and challenging. I definitely activated some hibernating muscles that I didn't even know existed in my legs and hips lol. Thank you Amy and Club Pilates Oxnard! I'll definitely be back for some more classes.

Update: After speaking to Julie the manager and the billing department and emailing a written…read morecancellation, Club Pilates is refusing to acknowledge or accept my cancellation. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE IN A FOREVER CONTACT WITH NO WAY OUT. I've sweat more dealing with the billing than I (or anyone else) have ever sweat at a course. They're calling me weekly just to tell me I need to submit a cancellation in writing and apparently emailing and speaking to management is not satisfactory according to them. Really wanted to love this studio and tried it out for a year but there was no improvement for me personally. I wouldn't even sweat at the level 1 class. It was all the same moves for 50 minutes and I still struggled in a real Pilates class. Nobody checks on your progress, you're invisible until payment is due. I stopped going in December 2025 and hadn't heard from the studio until February 2026 where I had a $498 balance due because I didn't cancel with a written notice 30 days before (even though I've cancelled now, I still receive notifications about how much I owe) and the studio wants me to pay for classes I didn't even take. There's no options to pause enrollment, it's either pay for what you're not going to use or cancel your contract and when you want to come back, you have to repay the enrollment fee and the classes. I wouldn't recommend any club Pilates studios. Waste of time and nobody sweats at these classes. Other Pilates studios actually give you a real work out and make you sweat.,

Fit Buddha changed my life, seriously! I had not worked out for over ten years when I started…read morebecause I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. I underwent a bilateral mastectomy, and went through another 10 (yes 10) reconstructive surgeries over the course of two years and topped that off with spinal fusion 4 years ago. I had just turned sixty and honestly felt I was forever doomed to a weak, shapeless body. I was shy and embarrassed. But from the moment I walked into Fit Buddha, everything shifted. The space was welcoming, the instructors were warm and encouraging, and the energy was pure empowerment. They met me exactly where I was--physically and emotionally--and helped me build strength I thought I'd lost forever. Slowly, class by class, I began to feel muscles I hadn't felt in years waking up again. I started standing taller, moving with more confidence, and, dare I say it, feeling powerful. This isn't just a workout--it's a healing journey wrapped in sweat and trembling muscles. The Lagree method is no joke (your glutes will write you angry letters), but it's also deeply transformative. I am stronger, leaner, and more connected to my body than I ever was in my 30s or 40s. And the best part? I now look forward to movement. I'm no longer working out to punish my body--I'm showing up to honor it. To anyone who feels like their best days are behind them, or that they're too far gone to make a change--please hear me: you are not. Fit Buddha helped me reclaim my strength, my confidence, and my joy. And for that, I will be forever grateful. So thank you Marcus, Ava and all of your amazing instructors!

I was a first time guest and at check in was offered a tour of the studios, greatly appreciated!…read moreThe studio is very pretty. I joined the unheated Gentle Flow class and I enjoyed it. Outside each studio door there are instructions on what supplies you will need to grab when you enter, and how many people to a row. I love clear instructions! Especially as a first timer to the studio. Rebecca was a great instructor and gave great suggestions throughout the class on different things you could try during each stage if you wanted to kick it up a notch or keep things simple. Provided cleaning materials in the back of the studio for the items used was great! I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I don't live in the area, otherwise I would visit often. Thank you very much ladies!

The quality of instruction alone makes the pricing feel fair. Every instructor is highly skilled and brings their own intention and energy to class. I'm especially drawn to Carrie for her light hearted humor, grounding presence, and nurturing teaching style. Each class feels thoughtfully planned and you truly get your money's worth. The studio offers even more value beyond classes. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the space itself is a cozy boutique style studio with curated gifts, skincare like EarthTonics, and yoga brands such as Beyond Yoga. It feels community focused, supportive, and non judgmental, which is something I have not experienced at other studios even at higher price points. They also include added value through events and workshops that deepen your practice without feeling transactional. Even the EarthKandee vending fridge with healthy snacks and drinks feels like a thoughtful extra after class. For the quality of instruction, the welcoming environment, and everything included, Grassroots Yoga offers excellent value for the price. Their one month unlimited option for $69 is an affordable way to try it out, and the drop in rate is fair for what you receive. I would highly recommend it.
