Update: After speaking to Julie the manager and the billing department and emailing a written cancellation, Club Pilates is refusing to acknowledge or accept my cancellation. DO NOT SIGN UP HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE IN A FOREVER CONTACT WITH NO WAY OUT. I've sweat more dealing with the billing than I (or anyone else) have ever sweat at a course. They're calling me weekly just to tell me I need to submit a cancellation in writing and apparently emailing and speaking to management is not satisfactory according to them. Really wanted to love this studio and tried it out for a year but there was no improvement for me personally. I wouldn't even sweat at the level 1 class. It was all the same moves for 50 minutes and I still struggled in a real Pilates class. Nobody checks on your progress, you're invisible until payment is due. I stopped going in December 2025 and hadn't heard from the studio until February 2026 where I had a $498 balance due because I didn't cancel with a written notice 30 days before (even though I've cancelled now, I still receive notifications about how much I owe) and the studio wants me to pay for classes I didn't even take. There's no options to pause enrollment, it's either pay for what you're not going to use or cancel your contract and when you want to come back, you have to repay the enrollment fee and the classes. I wouldn't recommend any club Pilates studios. Waste of time and nobody sweats at these classes. Other Pilates studios actually give you a real work out and make you sweat., read more

Great first experience last Friday night thanks to Club Pilates and Amy! I was a first time Pilates class attendee, mid 20s male, so I was a little shy walking in at first. The lady at the front desk welcomed me in and gave me a great run down of the class, what to expect, and how to use the cubbies. Amy, the instructor, was awesome and super welcoming! I let her know it was my first time ever trying Pilates, and she took the time throughout the whole group session to watch my form and give me pointers. She was encouraging and energetic, which makes sense why her class was completely full! The session itself was fun and challenging. I definitely activated some hibernating muscles that I didn't even know existed in my legs and hips lol. Thank you Amy and Club Pilates Oxnard! I had never tried Pilates before, so I looked for classes nearby. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that Club Pilates had recently opened and was in the Collection. They had a 30-minute class you could sign up for and try for free, so I signed up for the most recent class I could. The instructor said I should bring a water bottle and grip socks, or they could sell me some. There are cubbies at the entrance where you can store your things. The staff member immediately greeted me when I entered, and I felt nervous when I entered the Pilates area with all the equipment. However, the Pilates instructor was extremely patient as she guided us through the basics of how the Reformer worked and led us through some stretches using it. My muscles stretched and screamed in positions they hadn't been in for a long time. If the prices were cheaper, I'd love to sign up. They had a special September price that included no enrollment fees. They also had a 5-class pass that would cost $175 in total. Unfortunately, I can't justify paying for something more in one month than my gym membership in one year. However, I enjoyed the experience, the different workout, and the patient and kind staff. I will check to see if their prices drop, or maybe save up to take a class or two. read more

After almost a year a Club Pilates, I would say overall it was a positive experience. The instructors are (mostly) great, the facility is clean and well kept, and the people at the front desk are (again, mostly) kind and accommodating. Please note, depending on who works up there, they take their late policy very seriously. If you have a challenging schedule and can only attend weekends, I'd think twice before signing a contract. I arrived at today's class, that I had to have someone come watch my children so that I can attend, at 9:36p to find I had lost my spot, and in essence, the money I put into it. I was simply told an unempathetic version of their policy by who I am pretty sure is the manager of the facility. I understand policy, and own the lateness, but if you are in a similar position to me with a tight schedule, I'd find somewhere more flexible and accommodating. In this economy, losing that much money for a minute simply doesn't make sense. read more

Club pilates is a great place to start Pilates. This specific location is amazing due to its employees. The instructors are kind knowledgeable and patient. They genuinely want to see us progress into our stronger selves. The studio employees are happy to be there and are detail oriented. It's very clean and it's obviously a priority to them. In terms of the Pilates, I've been taking beginner level classes with them and have noticed a built endurance and strength. I was completely new to pilates when I joined this location on June 9th and attended my 42nd class today. In that time I've gone down a clothing size and am now seeing improvements in my posture! I would go every day if I could. Aside from the benefits, what prompted this review is Karena's level 1.5 class today, it was the most engaging class I've taken and we were on the reformer the whole time! I know the reformer is supplemental to classic/floor pilates but I have the most fun on that machine and that's really why I feel most people join Club Pilates. Because the other stuff can be found on countless online videos and done at home. Karena's classes feel cohesive from week to week which really helped me progress. Her instructions are ultra clear and she's very encouraging. Raymond was my intro class instructor and he really taught me to take my time and prep before each exercise, which prevents injuries and I feel I get more out of the movements that way too. I also really like Amy P's classes, the exercises are creative and she is also really supportive when students are struggling. If you're contemplating pilates, this is a great place to start. And if you're on the fence about the investment, just remember that you're worth it! read more

Been going to classes for a month now and really enjoy it. I am a beginner and I feel the classes are just easy enough to get you started but hard enough to incentivize you to push yourself a little harder each time. If you are a beginner I would recommend looking up stretches you can do at home to loosen your body up to prepare for starting classes, otherwise you will cramp up. read more

GETTING HERE: Located in The Collection at Riverpark in Oxnard, CA. My best recommendation for parking is to head towards the movie theater and park in the lot next to it. As you head towards the stores, look for DaHickory House BBQ. The studio is right next door. REVIEW: I am so thankful to have found Pilates! I began at the Ventura studio but have been so grateful to be able to attend this studio, too. I have been coming to classes for almost a year and I can totally tell a difference in my body and in my core! Live, Love, Pilates. The instructors here are incredibly kind, thorough, and willing to offer modifications as needed. I am not able to perform some of the series, but I do my best and they support that here. We are encouraged throughout the classes to listen to our bodies. The mind/body connection is a real skill that I am working on every class session. My only caveat is that, IMHO, he acoustics in this studio are really challenging and I struggle to hear the instructor during class. Most of the instructors do use a headset when leading class, which does help a bit, but I still struggle profoundly at times. But, I just look next to me and follow along with what that person is doing! :) It works! It's so convenient to book on their app, too. :) The front desk staff is awesome and great to work with. I love this place so much!! I have felt so much stronger and more flexible since starting these classes! I love all the different types of exercises we can do on the reformer and all the different little tools/gadgets (magic circle, ball, TRX bands, ballet barre, springs, etc) we use to target muscle groups! The instructors are all so different which I really love. Never know what I'll be doing each class so it's never boring to me. As a former ballet dancer, my body is loving reconnecting with itself and engaging my muscles so deeply. Work smarter not harder. It's great to be able to move slowly and be super controlled and feel ever more benefits afterwards than when I did weights and cardio at the gym. I work overnights as an RN. I usually take a 4-5p or 5-6p class before I head into work. I love how it makes me feel. It actually gives me energy!! Club Pilates for the win! What's also great is the huge variety of students that take the class. I'm definitely a beginner and I learn something new each class. There are all different ages and body types in the classes which is really comforting to me. We are all learning together and supportive of each other. I'm 46 and just wanting to feel stronger, more connected to my body and maybe lose some weight along the way. Pretty sure we are all in the same boat. Had tried Pilates five years ago and walked out with ten minutes. Didn't expect to fall in LOVE with it here! I was part of their wait list from a Facebook ad for about seven months, which made me skeptical. I've now gone to about a dozen classes. The instructors all have very different styles. I prefer some, and there's one I will not go to again. The company apparently doesn't provide amplifiers, so if you're new, that makes it difficult to follow along, especially if the instructor has louder music. I can predict a problem with scheduling in the near future. It's already becoming challenging because they're so successful and class size is limited by the number of machines. I hope this candid review encourages you to give it a try. You will discover new muscles that ache in a good way - that you never even knew you had. 3 plus weeks in, my body is noticeably more toned. The check in process is slow and disorganized. The post class rush to leave while others are arriving is calamitous. All that said, it's a fantastic workout and I am highly committed to continuing. read more

I started Jan 2025 and really do enjoy it, however, there is one instructor that I am not fond of, Meagan. She know Pilates really well and in shape, however she is not a good instructor at all by any means. She made me feel stupid for not doing things her way and not really into teaching the correct form without embarrassing you. Meagan also would call out other students who are all just learning. We were in the beginner's class and she exercised no patience. She would also show her frustration of people who don't get it. I am trying to just finish August 2025 and I will look into a pilates gym elsewhere because per the schedule, she seems to be teaching more classes, so less availability with other instructors for my schedule. I do have to say that Raymond and the other instructors are wonderful. They are super helpful and really passionate not only about Pilates, but all the student's well-being unlike Meagan. read more

Very clean and calming atmosphere. The instructors and staff are friendly and knowledgeable! If you do the 8 class package it's around 30 bucks a class. Not bad. Also, there a first responder/medical discount. The only thing is that their cancellation policy is tough. 12 hour notice for a class. Otherwise, you lose your credit for that class. I have a 5 year old who tends to get sick in the middle of the night so I've lost some credits because it was less than 12 hour notice. read more
