Our babied 2004 BMW Z4 (with only 24k miles) is our "fun" car. It began to intermittently toss multiple service codes (including braking codes) this summer. The original dealer cleared the codes and said it was ok. It wasn't. Soon our transmission started to sporadically refuse to go into gear. We lost confidence in its' reliability. Another independent shop wanted a shocking amount to repair it but only if we replaced several non-transmission related parts and systems. We passed. A gym buddy told me about Just BMW that he used and liked. There we met John the owner and one of his mechanics, George. In short order we had a proper diagnosis. They also had options for the repairs that we wanted. They knocked it out of the park at a reasonable price. Our Z4 was restored to "fun" car with its' renewed reliability. I'm doing this review a bit on memory as my experience here was about a year ago. I originally tried out Blau mit Weiss after seeing a billboard advertising their indy BMW service. This was at a stage in my life where I was very pressed for time so I thought I would try them out for an oil change. 1. The price was not a huge savings. It was around what you'd pay at the dealer during a promotional period. It was obviously much more than just doing it yourself (which, unfortunately, is my metric here). I am very picky with the type of oil that is used, especially the weight of the oil for the season. I wasn't particularly pushy, but very little information about the oil specification was given. It could be untrue, but this lead me to believe that a lower quality oil than I would personally change into the car was used. 2. Friendliness. You'd think a shop that has two big dogs loafing around would have some personality and customer service. I found the main guy working the phones short and steely. Again, this isn't a huge problem, but it certainly didn't entice me to ever want to go back. This was amplified by the fact that, since they have the disadvantage of not offering you a free loaner car like BMW, I got the pleasure of sitting in the stony silence of the waiting room with this guy. Overall, maybe this would be a good option for mechanical service. While in the shop, I overheard that due to their inability to compete with BMW they will not install parts that you buy yourself. This means that they will be the middleman for every new part that you want fixed. This is really a pretty common business model, except I really want to know EXACTLY the quality, age, condition and specification of the parts that go into my car. You pay a price for the things that Blau mit Weiss lacks, and ... you can get them at the BMW dealer. The whole point is that I am unsure if I will go back and give it a try because to me customer service goes very far in making a positive impression. read more

BEWARE!!! Look elsewhere - They joyrode the car 20+ miles and wrecked it! In utter shock! 2.5 weeks for a basic electrical repair, kept giving me the run around on why it wasn't ready. Good thing I randomly showed up! Denied, denied, lie after lie, fessed up to one gouge and scratch, denied the 3 other ones. Can't believe John is still in business. Refused to fess up. This place is a total joke. Ethics, honesty, integrity are totally out the door here. Kicking myself for trusting them. read more

My convertible top needed repair. We took it in mid-July 2021 to get it fixed. First, they told us the part it needed was on order from Europe and because of Covid, orders are taking up much more time and parts are scarce. 2 weeks after bothering them each day, they gave me a loaner, which was basically junk on the inside with parts falling off. Then 2 weeks after that, they realized they had ordered the right part but it was not the fix it needed. Now we were going to have to pay over $2000 in an additional part. This part took a long time as well. Finally I called 2 weeks later and the owner told me , that overnight, he pulled my car in under a lifted bay. The bay held a minicooper, which somehow fell on top of my car during the night. Now they have to fix it again (assuming they fixed it in the first place) and he was upset because now he was losing over "2 grand" in work done prior to the fall. We agreed that I was not responsible and his garage would fix it with no cost. That was in early September. Then when I called they told me my car was at a convertible specialist garage (ironically the first place we took it to, who sent us to "justbmw". It stayed there for over two weeks. Upon return, I called on a Friday and the owner told me that the mini-cooper falling on the top was not the cause of the problem and existed before I had the loaner. He insinuated that I was going to have to pay for the newest repair being conducted. He said, "We'll get this fixed and then go from there." REALLY? It's 10/9/21 and we haven't heard from them since an email came Wednesday telling my husband they were waiting on yet another PART. This place is nuts. I need to show up with my lawyer and the police. Maybe I'll get my car back. read more

I've been taking my '07 Mini Cooper S here for just over two years. My warranty was up and the dealer prices were getting outrageous. I get the usual maintenance - oil changes, break flushes, replace sensors and had the timing chain redone here. Very knowledgable mechanics and very easy to talk to. I love the shop, very nice front counter people and the lobby guards ( two adorable yellow labs) are quite welcoming too! I trust the mechanics thoroughly and am happy to say I've found a great shop to take care of my Mini. read more

Once upon a time, I thought these guys were awesome. They seemed knowledgeable, were friendly, and certainly charged less for their service than the BMW Store. There were a couple of small misses that made me start to lose faith in them however (forgetting to re-connect a hose to the engine, saying they had replaced a spark plug when they hadn't) - and one BIG miss that made me never, ever go back. The big miss: My car suddenly started leaking antifreeze - slowly at first, but by the second day after I noticed the tiny leak, anything I put in the coolant reservoir just disappeared - 100% - poof, gone. When I had them check it out, they said, "Sometimes these engines just leak coolant once they get older - it's not big deal. We filled it up and you're ready to go." Um, the car is a well cared-for 2008, not a 1984 rusted out rebuild. I trusted them and got on the road to drive to Louisville for the weekend. 60 miles south of Cincy, the low coolant warning light comes on. I pulled into a gas station and checked the reservoir: no coolant. Empty. I filled the reservoir with distilled water, drove like a snail the rest of the way to Louisville, panicking about burning up my engine and/or getting stranded in BFE at 10pm during polar vortex 2.0. The mechanic who checked the car in Louisville said, "Ma'am - whoever told you that was blowing you off - your water pump is shot and the housing around the radiator is split wide open." Do you know how expensive it is to tow a car from Louisville to Cincinnati? Do you know how much a new water pump costs, including installation? I'm not blaming Just BMW for the pump failing or the radiator housing cracking - things happen. I am, however, peeved at getting blown off (basically lied to) and therefore being put in a potentially dangerous situation or one that completely destroyed my engine. Finally, to add insult to injury, I got an email from them asking how my service experience was for my last visit - I replied, detailing what I've described above. Their response? Nothing - no "We're sorry" or "We totally didn't do that" or "Let us make it right." Complete silence. So: sorry, Just BMW. You lost me. Tiny mistakes lead to huge mistakes (and a big, fat lie)...I try to support small, local businesses, but this one doesn't deserve my support anymore. read more

When I arrived to pick up my car months after I dropped my car off two customers were outside of the auto body shop with the sheriff after also getting...S...C...A...well you get it because after seeing that this place has 5 star reviews I'm trying to make sure this one star review doesn't also get deleted. He does not update you on what needs to be done and will hit you with it out of nowhere and that's how he gets you. $1400 one day, next thing you know it's $2800 paid already with $500 remaining on the bill. When I went to pick up my 04 330ci w/ only 100k I said ok just give me a few days to come up with the 500. So behind my back, over the following week, he had my dad, who has dementia but is on the title, sign the car over because he ramped the bill up again $1100 after I left and convinced my dad that he needed to be paid for damages done to a loner car, I have nothing to lose and I promise that there were none, a loner car that I had for months, because that's how long he had my car in his shop; a loner car that I rarely drove because I'm a disabled veteran and never leave my apartment and a car that had taped up windows when I picked it up. Bottom line is my dad has dementia and had him sign the title over before asking me for an additional 1100 for "damages" done to a loner car, there were none, on top of the 500 he had already asked for a few days earlier before he would sign the title over to me....!!!! Also, originally when I tried to bring the receipt with me to look at what he did that was worth 2800 to a car that's only worth 4K, he told me I couldn't bring it with me outside, and then preceded to carelessly mumble bull as we went over the car repairs because J. knew that I already paid and if I wanted the car back that I would continue to pay for it. I hope you all are reading my mind right now and I want to write paragraphs but again google seems to be letting this business filter out the reviews because I'm certainly not the first to write a one star review read more

Beware of their rates, actually more labor time than The BMW and Jake Sweeney BMW! Find a different shop.

I received a verbal quote for around $500.00 in repairs and when they called with the bill- added the $120.00 diagnostic charge on, plus tax- now we're up to $700.00. I understand that you cant forsee all issues and that tax is a variable but a know diagnostic charge is not- this was crooked- go somewhere else. read more

Best place to take your out of warranty BMW for service. The mechanics were very knowledgable and easy to talk to. I found this place when I met the Service Manager after I broke down on the side of the highway 2 years ago. He was absolutely fantastic always following up on my calls and answering my questions, and he was honest even if the news was not what I wanted to hear! Unfortunately, he as left, the mechanics are still great, but I called about some parts and tires and the parts guy was rude and very unprofessional! Actually hung up on me because I didn't understand something and asked for someone else who could explain it to me.In my opinion he cost them 2 stars and led me to buy a Porshe. Too bad! read more

I visited Just BMW today with our '07 Mini Cooper. Now I'm a guy who does "everything", I have done the clutch, thermostat housing, water pump, full suspension, and steering rack on our Mini, so I was nervous having to "turn over control" when despite extensive research, I couldn't extinguish the DSC trouble light. Owner John and Matt accommodated my schedule, greeted me upon arrival, and introduced me to the specialist interrogating the Mini. John estimated two hours' diagnostics at which time he said he would call me an update. I was given a BMW 525i loaner with the only cost "please fill up when done." The next call I received was that the Mini was ready to go at 1.8 hours labor. No parts. They identified the steering sensor which needed reprogramming (not replacement) and reprogrammed it, and I am back on the road. I could not be more pleased with my experience!
